Kinda expensive menu to start with plus the cost of admission. The food was better than most tourist traps. We enjoyed the pork chop and roasted mushroom. Nice staff. Can't beat the view.
Angels need only apply
Booked the dinner event. The entry fee is steep but it is a very exclusive spot so it needs to be. Everyone wants a seat at a table on the 102nd floor. The service is extremely good I guess at this altitude only angles can survive. There is a wonderful mix of wit and culinary talent on show from the kitchen. For dessert ask yourself "What would Milk and Cookies taste like in heaven?" and you'll find the answer on the plate. The seating is disappointing as it is some distance from the windows. The ambience is noisy and intruded upon by the view gallery visitors below. However, these compromises are reasonable given the exclusive location. Great Experience!
Don't believe the hype!
Waste of money in this overpriced tourist trap. Food was too salty even the salad! Had a salty dressing on it. The host was disorganized and had us waiting while we stared at empty tables! The air conditioner didn't work, so on a 98-degree day, it was hot up there. Also, the tables are underneath the observation area and far from the window. This is no Windows on the World. Also, we were told we had to wait for the other side to open up at 1:30. When it did he walked us to the bar! I said we want a table, not a bar stool. They moved us to a table where we enjoyed a salty meal! It's not worth the high price. Skip it!
Must Visit for EVERYONE!
Nicole C was amazing. She knows her drinks and her knowledge of NYC is 2nd to none. The views are also breathtakong. Thanks!
Some staff members inadequate but some also fantastic, very 50/50
The staff member that served us was a lovely lady with short hair, she was absolutely great and she saved the evening. There was one particular member of staff who was ignorant and extremely rude, an older man with short grey hair who seemed to have a strop the entire evening, upon asking him to take photos during a special moment he refused and was unbearably rude. Why this man got a job in service is ridiculous, people are paying for a premium service not for some rude grumpy person. Manager is friendly and very professional but needs to sort this guy out. Overall. Food - High Avergae View and atmosphere - Excellent. All members of staff apart from the one guy, brilliant. Would I eat here again? No.
Great venue, but chaotic front of house
A perfect location for lunch - we enjoyed the lunch experience which included entry to the viewing deck and 2 courses plus a drink. It was a beautiful day and we were seated with an exceptional view. Front of house was a bit of a mess though. The restaurant did not open on time and the line to get in was chaotic and unruly. Not a good way to start the experience. Instead of calling names from bookings, they asked the crowd who had a booking, of course everyone surged forward, there was jostling over who was ahead of how in the line, people being yelled at by others. So one star gone I’m afraid. No one should have to fight to get into a restaurant when they have a booking, especially one of this quality. However once seated, the service was okay, the food very delicious and well presented, and the view was highly memorable. Would I return - no. It is a one off experience, there are better run restaurants in NYC, most of which open when stated.
While the vibe was a little cold, the service was fantastic
While the vibe was a little cold, the service was fantastic and the food itself delicious. The views and the overall atmosphere of the dining experience definitely made up for some of the more clinical feeling parts of the dining area. The one major pain point was how long it takes to get to your table, with slow elevator service, winding paths and being made to watch a presentation ahead of time
Noisy and Not Relaxing
We booked the Premium View Dining Experience, which came out at just under $500 for two after taxes and their compulsory 18% gratuity. We went early so that we could look around the Observatory. The views from there are stunning. The two drinks included in the package are limited to $23 each in value which gets you most drinks except premium wines and spirits. The food was very good. We had burratta (very good) and pork belly (too much fat) to start, followed by steak frites for a main course, which was excellent and perfectly cooked. The deserts were OK. The ambience left a lot to be desired. There was party of about 14 there who were very noisy (one had even brought a yapping dog) and we were overlooking the Observatory deck, which added to the noise. In addition, there seemed to be some people there just having a drink or a bar snack and on two occasions people paused immediately next to our table to look at the view and take photos while standing over us. The staff were nice but the service was slow. It wasn't a particularly relaxing dining experience and we weren't right next to a window so I think diners with the basic package were no worse off than us. We've eaten in similar restaurants (The Shard in London, CN Tower in Toronto, Sky Tower in Auckland) and all those place offered a genuine, relaxing restaurant experience with tables that gave diners a better view of the outside. My advice would be to pay for the basic Observatory ticket and eat elsewhere.
Enjoy a night out with best views in the city!
A wonderful place to experience day and night views of the harbor and islands! Service was excellent, cheers to Haque, and food was delicious! Choose to be casual or dress up!
10/10 recommend One Dine! The view is absolutely stunning!
10/10 recommend One Dine! The view is absolutely stunning! The service there is top-notch, the staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. The drinks are amazing, they have a wide selection of signature cocktails and an extensive wine list. Their menu offers a variety of dishes that are beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The bartender Matthew was very accommodating, charismatic, and knowledgeable! Trust me, you won't be disappointed with your experience at One Dine!
Overcharged and refused to make it right - a place to avoid!!
The reason I'm giving this two stars is because the food was excellent and tasty, and you can't beat the view. Otherwise, months later, I'm still livid over my experience here. I was in NYC for a job interview in One World Treade Center, and decided to see the observatory and dine before my interview. I bought special tickets through OpenTable when I made the reservation that were supposed to cover the entry of the observatory as well as one entree and one drink for lunch. When the server brought the bill, I was mystified that I was charged full price. When I asked about the OpenTable special, she said, "oh that just means you get $7 off a dessert" or something along those lines. Not only that, the hostess kept asking me if I was okay. I'd travelled from another state, was extremely tired, and nervous about my interview. Way to make me feel strange about dining alone. I left a review on OpenTable and the manager contacted me. I sent her all the proof that I had been way overcharged, and she promised me a free entree, etc. next visit. Well, I contacted her with no response, so here is my review. Avoid this place - it is a scam if you buy the "special tickets." And the service wasn't great. You're better off going to Balthazaar if you want high-end, because the way they treated me is egregious and I haven;t forgotten it.

Unfortunately, we had a very foggy day, so we couldn't fully enjoy the view. But luckily, the food did not disappoint! Sometimes when you go to fancy, touristy spots, the food is subpar, but that was not the case here. Incredible ribeye and service!
Not recommended for your own money but ok to visit if
Not recommended for your own money but ok to visit if invited. I typically avoid restaurants located on an expensive piece of real estate, i.e., with good views, etc. because food at those places is not good. I came away pleasantly surprised. Food is far better than I expected. That being said, I wouldn't necessarily recommend anyone eating here, while the observatory probably is a worth a visit. I didn't pay my own money to be clear. Why not? The setup and ambiance are surprisingly not up to what you would expect. Food - good fried cauliflower. Good fried chicken. Good steak. Good pasta. Everything was solid. Nothings to fault here. Service - not bad. Not particularly attentive. Ambiance - not as good as you think. The restaurant is located on the second floor of the two story observatory. The second floor is like a tucked in terrace, far removed from the glass outer walls. The restaurant itself is just small section separated by stanchions.
Terrific meal, service and view! Must have observatory
Terrific meal, service and view! Must have observatory tickets. Can go for drinks or a meal. Reservation recommended. The view (one hundred stories up) is one of a kind!
Useless & Unreliable
Was really looking forward to dining here for my son’s 21st birthday to the point we had arranged our trip from Scotland around the experience. We booked the table on the 5th February as soon as we could for 5.30 on the 5h March. Received multiple emails asking us to confirm we were still attending and responded yes to them all almost instantly.Arrived in New York yesterday to an email less than 24 hours from the booking time telling us that the reservation was cancelled and no further information. Tried to call and just kept getting answer machine.Left message and no response. Absolutely gutted, but just wanted to warn in case it ruined someone else’s trip.
What an incredible vista! The team here was incredibly
What an incredible vista! The team here was incredibly friendly, attentive, and efficient in their service. And off course the view is incredible in every seat even at the bar. While the prices seemed reasonable at first glance, the cost can escalate if you're solely dining in, as you're required to purchase tickets to the observatory. While the food was good, it didn't quite blow me away. I particularly enjoyed the crudo as a starter. One aspect that struck me as odd was the significant variance in portion sizes for the main courses. While it wasn't an issue for us as we opted for family-style dining, the disparity between the octopus and chicken portions was quite remarkable, but our server did warn us of this when ordering.
Paid a premium price for supposedly premium seating.
At the top of the "world" one would expect paying for a "premium seating" experience would be up against the windows for truly unobstructed views of the city. We were seated overlooking the observation deck with windows a good 30ft away. In this "premium section" there was an open table against the windows which they wouldn't switch us to. There were also open tables in their non premium section that were also up against the windows making them better than our seats. Made no sense and was an extreme disappointment for what was supposed to be a premium experience. Buyer beware.
Highly recommend the lunch experience.
$80 each (included one app, one entree and one cocktail) and admission to the observatory. Large portions, cocktail and food were very good. My husband had the burger, I didn't take a picture but it was very good too! Wait staff was excellent and very personable. All well worth the price.
Avoid at all costs
A complete disaster from start to finish. First, they can't even spell 'your' correctly on their restaurant week menu. Then, less than 18 hours before, we receive a cryptic and curt OpenTable message for our PREPAID $152 reservation that they were pushing it back 30 minutes without our consent and even the courtesy of a phone call to explore options together. They ghosted us and didn't answer their phone or return our emails. They blamed weather despite the OpenTable experience mentioning nothing about that possibility, yet we arrived on time to still being zero visibility yet were refused a refund of any sort. They never honored our reservation despite never actually changing ot. We arrived to some of the nastiest and most disorganized staff (and frankly the most overstaffed establishment) we've ever encountered. The front desk insisted on touching our phone just to let us in, and then there was no guidance on where to go once past security. The intro video presentation malfunctioned twice. We were then nickel & dimed for drinks with more unmentioned but automatic gratuity. The food was overpriced and bland, and the service very awkward. Our table wobbled and was somehow packed too close to adjacent ones despite plenty of empty tables.

Stopped by for a celebratory drink after spending a few
Stopped by for a celebratory drink after spending a few days in NYC for my birthday. I knew I had to treat myself to a beverage with a view. And what a view it is! I was originally seated at the bar and was able to move to the window. It was mid afternoon when I went here, not too busy, which was nice. The staff was friendly and made the experience emoticons. Next time I'm in town, I'll need to check out the food. The dishes were great from what I saw and smelled! I'm glad I ended my trip with a visit to this restaurant.
High rise views of NYC with drinks and snacks, yes please!
High rise views of NYC with drinks and snacks, yes please! Some may be upset you have to pay entrance fee to get in but the view is spectacular! We were able to grab a seat at the bar and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere here and beauty of the city from above. The service was excellent as well as the food and drinks. We never felt rushed and took our time there. Love this spot and will be back again when we visit NYC again!
Food was decent, everything was cooked well.
I really liked the bussers and their efficiency in clearing off our plates when finished and constantly refilling our waters. For a spot like this you're paying for the view and location. Once in a lifetime experience to eat here. Definitely worth it.
Views and friendly staff
Del ious food, very attentive waitress Nikki who move us to a nicer spot within the restaurant after hearing it was mine and my parents last night in New York. Stunning views of New York at night
Great dinner at one dine
Haque was a great server very attentive and started convos, the food was great too ! I was very satisfied!
Great food, service and atmosphere!
I booked a group of 10 people here for a corporate dinner. I had read mixed reviews about food and service and am very happy to say that we had an amazing experience. The food was creative and so flavorful. The tempura cauliflower was phenomenal. Our table was right by the window with a notable view. We plan to return with our group again next year!

Great Service - amazing dinner!!
Read about the site in NYT and bought a reservation at Mother Wolf in LA 2 days later. Worked great and the food was amazing!!!
Worked perfectly!
Got the reservation (that I couldn't get anywhere else) and was able to entertain a group of friends at the infamous Bern's Steakhouse.
Got into Nobu Malibu
Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!
Very easy
Was very hesitant going into this experience but am glad to say that it worked out very well ! will definitely use appointment trader in the future
Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!
Great reviewer team
Just wanted to take a second to shout out the reviewer team. Even though they probably review hundreds of listings and bids a day, they still take the time to leave great comments and respond relatively quickly. Thanks!
Incredible
I got a reservation to Don Angie, which I've been trying to book for weeks! I am very happy with this service.
Best platform out there!
Super simple, easy, and fast to secure reservations for hard-to-get restaurants and locations!
This app is life changing
This app has opened my world up to so many wonderful new experiences I would never have the chance to have without access to this awesome app! 10/10!
Worked perfectly
Was a little nervous at first but was pleased to see that the booking went through flawlessly.
Highly recommended.
Success on Short Notice
Was able to snag an indoor table at Don Angie through an absolutely seamless worry-free process.
Worked perfectly, thank you!
This is a crazy holiday season in NYC and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that AppointmentTrader works! Will be using again!
Worked flawlessly!
Worked so well! I was a bit nervous, but everything went very smoothly. purchased the reservation, and got into the restaurant seamlessly.
Love this app!
So glad I came across this app :)
Quick table in Miami
I didn’t have my hopes high as it was a party of 4. In 24 hours I had a carbone reservation available! I was very happy as my family really wanted to come here
Prime time, great meal
So easy and had a prime time which I can never seem to get on normal res apps. So worth it
Got impossible NYC res
instead of waiting weeks I got my 4 charles reservation instantly
Worked perfectly to get into Carbone. So delighted
perfect
Worked well, got me into a restaurant with no availability
I was skeptical, and I still don't really know how they managed to find this hard-to-find reservation, but it was a win-win from my point of view, and I'll use this service again.
Last minute reservation for Delilah Las Vegas
Got a last minute reservation, dinner for 2 at Delilah Las Vegas: super impressed! The process was simple, transaction seamless. We had an amazing time! Couldn’t be happier! 😍
It works!
Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!
Money transfer
As a seller, I like the fact i have the ability now to transfer money out of my AT account and into a bank account. Makes getting the money much easier then the process before.
Love this app
Got to go to places otherwise unreachable
Easy Access
Very easy to get into one of the hardest restaurants to reserve in New York.
Whose name will my reservation be under when I arrive at the venue?
It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!
Payouts Blocked Because of Sell Through Rate
Does anyone know how AT plans to handle cases where a seller is quitting the platform but has a sell through rate <25%? The error message I got said to fill more bids or find other ways to increase the rate.
Is AT really going to block sellers from withdrawing their money? Especially revenue made before the sell through rate was introduced??

Let’s go. Get more people placing bids!
I will give you 50% of ALL of my PROFITS if you teach me how to make profits?
LOL. Thank you The New Yorker.
Appointment
Transferring reservations is not supported in AT. Why not just use the name in the AT screenshot?
Buyers interested in Bern's Steakhouse: PLEASE READ
Same goes for 4 Charles and I Sodi
Prepaid Reservation Fee
Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
Congrats on 3 mil
🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🍾🧨🧨🧨 now on to 30 mill!
Need to cancel a bid, not getting a response… how do I do it?
Click on "Take off the Market Option" in your portfolio
Working on your bid?
Your bid has been “matched” with a reservation. From the time a reservation has been located, the seller of the reservation must connect with moderator to give transfer information for reservation. If the seller;however, does NOT respond to reservation transfer, then your bid is reprocessed and returns to the first step, which is connecting your request to a reservation.
Process after bid is accepted.
Hey @EvocativeFold67, welcome to appointmenttrader! Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
