Great location
Wonderful location, great rooms, excellent breakfast and an excellent restaurant. We were also able to experience a great wine tasting and Baldamico tasting with regional delicacies - Alice gave us warm and competent advice! All highly recommended!

We spent two relaxing days at this property. Original furnishings and eastern view of the vineyards. Our “honey” room was truly elegant. Very rich and varied breakfasts (excellent sweet and savory) with a gem: the extractor for centrifuging fruit and vegetables on the Moment. Delicious pancakes and tarts! The view of the vinegar factory from the corridor is special, the hall is welcoming and the staff are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, due to time constraints, we didn't try the wellness area... we hope to return!

Beautiful location, immersed in the vineyards of Castelvetro di Modena. We visited the cellar and the vinegar factory and completed the experience with the tasting of their products. All very good and beautiful, a note of merit for the girl who accompanied us throughout the visit and explained in detail their way of producing local excellence. We will be back!!!
Be the first to ReplyGreat location, great rooms and Michelin restaurant!
Top house in an impressive location. Great rooms and very good service complete the overall picture. There is also a gourmet restaurant, but you should book early as it is always booked up. Tip: the themed picnics in the vineyards right next door. Here you can chill out in the evening with a delicious picnic box including dry-aged Lambrusco.

This place is one of my favorites in the area. In addition to being super refined in the dishes (and in the wines... top roses) it is a delight for the eyes. The staff, from the waiters to the girls at the reception, are very kind and above all PREPARED! You can't make things up in this job... dinners for couples are my favourite, but there are also many dishes suitable for children.

Such an amazing retreat. Fantastic rooms, and pool set up, which are not all that common in Modena - I have searched! The restaurant is super and full of local food and wine. I have been many times, and already looking forward to the next trip. A little haven!

I've known this place for a long time but it's been a long time since I've been back. Beyond the beautiful location, this restaurant takes care of every detail. Excellent food, service and kindness of the staff. I absolutely have to come back, maybe in the evening and when it's less hot to enjoy the outdoor area.

Could not have been happier with our stay and wish we could have stayed longer than two nights. Giulia and Sara on the front desk were absolutely delightful as were Daniela and Francesco at the restaurant. The food was incredible and we found the pool and sunbathing to be blissful and peaceful. It was clear from overhearing other guests that everyone else felt the same way. We will absolutely return. Grazie mille!

The room was beautiful. The spa was only a sauna and steam room. I didn’t like the breakfast they didn’t have salt and pepper o. The table for my eggs and there was a bug in the juice. I’m asked for a take away coffee as the road was still long and they didn’t offer take away coffee my main disappointment was also that there’s a swimming pool and it wasn’t heated for the winter!
Be the first to ReplyVery poor maintenance, not clean and poor breakfast
I was given a room with a broken glass window and was told that it is only broken on the outside. When I went for a shower, there was no current for the hot water, so I complained and they changed changed my room. In the new room the faucet had low current and the shower was dripping from the sides. The WiFi in the new room did not work so I was given the staff access password. The curtains were black and dirty on the lower end. I was told the breakfast will start at 8:00 but did not start until after 8:20.
Be the first to ReplyTriumph of design over practicality that had seen better days
Place was a bit run down - had seen better days. Tatty poolside sunshades and furniture, holes in curtains and cracking plaster around doors plus mouldy showers and grubby walls in the bedroom. Pool was good - warm and decent size. Bed was comfortable and air con was efficient and it was quiet. Rooms were oddly designed with huge floor bed with an odd bench along one side, no drawers and 4 coat hangers and a shower that sprayed water everywhere and no space for toiletries. Triumph of design over racticality.

This is almost more of a restaurant with a small hotel than the other way around. The setting lis lovely, looking over fields and valley adjacent, with a hard-edge kind of design aesthetic to the low-slung building that clings to the brow of the the hill. The design of the rooms is cool but with a few bizarre attributes to the furnishings (bed virtually at floor level) and room layout (water closet room on opposite side of the room from lavatory and shower) but not a deal-breaker. It was a serious heat wave while there and the a/c struggled mightily. Also, the hotel is administratively unattended overnight which doesn't seem like an issue until something happens in the night that you might need help with. The restaurant is a destination in itself and if you want to dine there be sure to make a reservation well in advance. The night that we stayed we had a reservation but there was a very large group there and the kitchen forgot our entrees. Not a disaster and the food we did have was really quite good. Overall a fun experience.

We have been here before. A nice location with a fantastic view, but we were not as lucky as before. The staff at the reception is still top, but the restaurant has lost the quality. This is not only the service but also the food. And it is not about the taste and the „decoration“. It is mainly that everything is „thermomixed“ and the carte is very limited considering multiple visits on a longer stay. Evening and lunch is one carte. Even the opener from the kitchen was always the same. We would have expected at least some fresh and crisp food at a place like this, and also not everything smashed to Baby-pup. Maybe efficient but boring. The good thing is that they opened and increased the wine carte beside Lambrusco since our last visit. Breakfast was top on the second day. Our room needs a technical renovation ( entrance, air-condition and terrace). The problems are obvious ( for the cleaning staff) and long term - not understandable why not solved. Dog friendly and a good spot to visit the places around. So still a recommendation beside the restaurant more than once.
Be the first to ReplyIt is an AGRITURISMO! Not a 4-star hotel...
Well, the location is nice, pool looks good (not heated), BUT the rooms have very low beds (futon like), with leather frame. Cleaning wasn't very good. In the middle of the room a bathtube, no curtain, nada, niente. You need to shower in the bathtube and the steam goes into the room, including sleeping space. So, do that at night when you can't open the only door to the terrace with lights on. Impossible if you don't wont to have tons of bugs inside. Not to mention that the terrace door locks you out when you are outside and close it. So, pretty steamy and hot room climate. On top do the pipes whatever noises during the night. Not good to sleep. Coming back to the bugs. We walked our dog for 5-10 minutes outside on the road next to the hotel. We had to remove 10 tics. So, be careful. Food was okay, wine list overviewable and mostly local. Hotel was nice enough to not charge further nights, but this was not a nice experience...
Be the first to ReplyAbsolutely Stunning Views, Comfortable Room & Fantastic Food...........
This place has absolutely stunning views. The rooms are comfortable and clean but it's not a place I would stay for more than couple of nights. Sleeping on a mattress on the floor was something I did as a child on a sleepover, not something I want to do now. The food and wine at Opera 02 is fantastic.
The staff are lovely.
Relax, Unwind & take in the Italian Countryside at Opera|02
Was looking for a place near Modena for a friend and I to stay that offered relaxation, views, comfort, bfast, and just an all around Italian countryside stay and we certainly found all of the above and more at Opera|02 Agriturismo! With only 9 rooms, there was no insanely busy lobby nor crowds nor all the things that come with a packed luxe hotel. Instead we had a wonderful leisurely bfast followed by a walk in the countryside where we chatted with neighbors and just enjoyed the cool mornings. We spent one evening in the town of Castelvetro di Modena which was adorable and delicious. Poolside was also amazing with a Lambrusco on ice and dips to cool off. Our room had a lovely patio and again, amazing views of the hills and the overall beauty of the Italian countryside. The staff was helpful and accommodating. Honestly would stay there again in a heartbeat for a relaxing weekend but close enough to the amazing restaurants of Modena. Book it!

What an amazing place. The smell of the Balsamic vinegar is wonderful as you enter the hotel. Ask for a tasting of the vinegar it will blow your taste buds away. We ate in the Bistro - wow weee what amazing food. The views are stunning - shame the weather was so terrible when we were there - didnt get to see the pool as it was raining so hard. The layout of the room was a little strange and also the bathroom, lighting needs to be better.
