Oh ourea
A small restaurant not far from the courthouse and a stone's throw from the port. Superb welcome from the dining room team and kitchen staff. Variation of a menu in 5 stages with each time the pleasure of discovery and anticipation of the next dish. My partner discovered a red wine thanks to the amazing sommelier. To discover without moderation. Let yourself be carried away.

We were recommended by our accommodation hosts to come here and I understand why . We got a lovely reception and had a glass of beautiful wine. The menu is meticulously prepared and all tasted divine. The only problem we had was that it took ages to be served a second course whilst people around us (locals) were being served ahead of us. We did wait a long long time and final straw was when the man at table next to us who came in a good 45 minutes after us was served the main dish whilst we still waited . I then complained and got an apology but it kind of ruined the meal as I was so annoyed. The waiter did offer us another glass of wine and reduced the bill which was very kind of them . I would recommend it as the food was so lovely but I really hope that non locals don’t always get treated differently.
Be the first to ReplyHonestly an incredible restaurant!
Great restaurant. Unbeatable quality/price ratio. The portions are generous, we love that!!! Mastered service, with humor. Small room, very full, but no problem getting along, we are in a sort of bubble... The cuisine is refined, subtle with a lot of finesse, the spices are perfectly measured. There are some incredible finds. The kamquat sabayon with a meaty piece of duck breast is just crazy!
Be the first to ReplyVery good...but
The frame is old-fashioned, an ineffective and unsightly anti-noise paving on the ceiling. The open kitchen allows you to see cooking and... your clothes smell good. The cuisine is inventive and the flavors are balanced. A downside on the tartlet whose dough perhaps deserves better cooking. Another downside is that the veal is excellent but if it had been denerved it would have been even better. Otherwise pleasant moment...to try
Be the first to ReplyExcellent in every facet of food and service
We had a table of ten some of whom had the five course tasting menu while others opted to choose from the three ciurse menu. All courses were excellent as was the service and ambiance. We will return when next in Marseilles.

Found via Tripadvisor. Outside the tourist center in a quiet street. You would just walk past it. We took the tasting menu and this was a series of 5 excellent dishes. The matched wines cost us the same as the menu.

So delicious, I ate the ravioli, a feast for the palate. Free WATER is always a luxury for Germans. Very friendly staff
Be the first to ReplySmall very nice restaurant with very good cuisine
It was our first time in this nice restaurant. We don't speak French and were served very warmly. There was "only" one menu, but the individual courses had something for everyone. Everything looked wonderful and tasted very good. My husband had the accompanying wines and there were some unusual wines here too. The atmosphere among the guests (not tourists) was really nice and relaxed. It was an all-round successful evening.

Excellent welcome, lovely simple and clear room. Overall it was a very good meal but with some of the dishes lacking in flavor Very good parsnip carpaccio, excellent John Dory with chorizo and original emulsion. Very below, the poultry lacked flavor and the dessert lacked interest. Fortunately the service was very friendly and efficient and the wines had a very good texture.
Be the first to ReplyWOW!
The service was low-key, friendly yet attentive. The food extraordinary! Not just the best meal we had in Marseille, one the best meals we have ever had ever. The chef has a way with vegetables that is unsurpassed. That said, the fish and meat dish we had were also fantastic. Super innovative yet totally unpretentious. Go now, before they triple the price!
Be the first to ReplyGreat food, lovely staff
I'm genarally quite stingy about eating out, so I'm automatically hesitant about any somewhat pricy prix fixe menu. But this place is well worth it. The food is fresh, local, tasty, interesting. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. By today's standards in France, the wine is reasonably priced.
