Pure class!!!
What a great restaurant serving high end Chinese food!!! You won’t be disappointed I assure you. Amicable staff. You won’t want to miss it!!!
Be the first to ReplyPoor Chinese food, way too salty.
If you want to eat at a noisy place with mediocre service and very salty food then you should come here! The duck was OK but the pancakes were too thin. The dumplings were OK but no where near the quality of Ding Tai Fung, where the chef is supposed to come from. Wouldn't recommend this place as a Chinese restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyAMAZING experience!
Some colleagues and I were looking for a restaurant with an eclectic feel but with the comforts of Chinese food that we know. Pinch was the PERFECT spot. The soup dumplings were some of the best I've ever had, the fried oysters were so deliciously interesting, and the pork belly melts in your mouth. The service was fantastic, but John the sommelier was AMAZING! We started with a flight of wine that paired perfectly with our dinner choices and then were suggested a bottle that was fantastic! His knowledge of wine and how it paired as well as his enthusiasm and excitement about it just made out night! I know that all three of us will be back for our next business trip!!!!

Good food, nice location, service was good but could allow a little more time to make a choice. Overall absolutely recommended.
Be the first to ReplyWhat arrogance and disrespect of the boss !
The arrogance and disrespect of the boss spoiled the good quality of service and food ! The boss instructed his crew not to follow the basic rules of service unless they get fired ! When we politely asked for explanation he confirmed and answered “take it or leave it… welcome to NYC”. Seems since they got a Michelin award… they become arrogant !!!

Party of four. Started with calamari, pork soup dumpling, beef fried rice, pork belly rice and Taiwanese soup. Calamari was tender and crispy and salted nicely. Pork soup dumpling was as good as any we have had before. Wagyu fried rice was nothing extraordinary and the cut we received actually had some gristle/tendon. Taiwanese noodle soup had flavourful broth. The pork belly rice was SO good. Great umami. We then reordered some more dumplings; spicy wonton which had a nice heat/savoury dressing over the pork/shrimp wonton. Tried the Apple donut which were instantly devoured. The atmosphere had a lounge feel with music blaring. Did not consume alcohol. Dinner with tip for the above $150
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food - great service
We stopped by for lunch and enjoyed delicious dumplings, a pork chop dish and a tofu dish adapted for a vegetarian. Everything was fresh and tasty with great attention to taste.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent food and service
Went here our first night in the city based on menu reviews and location (around the corner from our Airbnb).
Greeted, asked fro proof of vaccination and then seated. Ordered 2 of the house special cocktails which were delicious. Then ordered too much: Beef pan fried dumpling and the cumin park ribs as appetizers followed by the shrimp curry and dan dan noodles. The food was just incredible delicious. Service was good throughout.
Highly recommend if you are in the West Village/ Soho area. It was a great way to start our trip
Amazing restaurant
Excellent place.!! Amazing dumplings!! Amazing food. Amazing customer service. The host was amazing. We had troubles making a reservation and we went there and did the imposible to get us a place. Someone else confirmed their reservation very late ,so she managed to sit us in the place until the time that other person was coming. Amazing!! Great treat! What an excellent to manage it. The food came in so quickly we actually left before the time we were expecting to leave. Even when we order more food after we finished with the first plate. Everyhting was so professionally managed. Waiter was on point! Great environment.

The tender shrimp and pork dumplings were deliciously prepared. We enjoyed an assorted number of dishes that delighted us. The service was helpful and prompt. I know for sure I will return as it has become my favorite Asian restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyIn-laws are not valued because of Pinch Chinese
Chinese dishes are simple but contain high nutritional value. Prove yourself on this Chinese Pinch menu, in-laws are not ignored either.
Be the first to ReplyThis is Experience Eating
We'd been to see West Side Story, and my son wanted us to experience something called Soup Dumplings, which he'd had in Singapore. So he tapped away at his phone and came up with Pinch. We ambled downtown, and were ready to chow when we got there. The first three selections on there menu were these Soup Dumplings, so we ordered one order of each. The deal with soup dumplings is that there is a splash of liquid inside, which makes the contents really slithery juicy. They were a lot of fun to eat, and they were delicious. After that, the son and I had scallops which came on a small pile of exotic veggies; and this was a dish to die for. The scallops were perfect, crispy on the outside, velvet on the inside; and the veggies made us feel that we weren't totally ignoring our health. The husband, however, had a lobster dish which disappointed him, hence the four stars instead of five. Then we had one more order of dumplings (my son ordered these), but both the husband and I managed one more each, leaving four for the growing boy (who is actually nearly forty!). Then believe it or not, we had desserts, my son some extremely large donuts thing, myself, something that had the aura of mango soup with a little tapioca thrown in, and my husband something chocolatey that made up for the lobster. These desserts were more of an experience than a culinary joy, but hey... the place was immaculately clean and minimalist in appearance. I definitely recommend it.
Be the first to ReplyBest soup dumplings!
Best soup dumplings! Our six year old grandson ate his weight in dumplings with the rest of us not far behind him! We ordered in lots of three kinds at a time, which had them staying hot and it not taking long after placing the order for the next batch to arrive. We all agreed that the pork was the best! Everything was good though.

wow, I don't remember how many we had, we just kept ordering, everything suggested by the waitress was amazing, the best was the pork in soup dumpling. Nice vibe and super friendly staff and outstanding food, well worth the visit.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Christmas Brunch
We were in New York for a few days for Christmas - just to see the city during the holidays and had no plans for the day. The concierge at our hotel recommended Pinch. It was the best! The food was excellent, pork chop fried rice, dim sum, wonton noodle soup, regular fried rice, spicy tofu dish, EVERYTHING was delicious. The price for all 6 people in our party was less than what we would pay at home. My husband said he would fly back to New York just to eat there - but no, our budget doesn’t allow for that. If you like Chinese food do yourself a favor and go by early in your visit so you can go back again before you leave.
