Overpriced and underwhelmed.
The wine and beer list seemed like it was from Costco. The food and presentation was basic. Won't repeat.
Be the first to ReplyElevated Vegan dish, but not my favorite place.
Overall the food taste average. The banana coconut cream pie was probably my favorite amongst the other items. The sourdough bread was also my favorite! The most dissappointing dish was the truffle pasta. They did not use real truffle, just the oil. I was surprised that they could not nail a truffle pasta dish, what I know besides the "cream" from the classic truffle pasta, the other ingredients for truffle pasta is vegan friendly. However, their presentation was beautiful! In terms of service, they were pretty quick too!

I went here for the first time with some co-workers after work. I live on the east side - so this was quite the trek! Outside patio was beautiful and a fun vibe. They even have a cat that lives there! Food was mediocre and a bit overpriced...I'm pescatarian, but stray away from vegan restaurants because of the dairy subs (cashew cheese not my thing). My wine had a handful of flies in it, which they kindly replaced. Not sure I would go back - but always open to trying new restaurants!
Be the first to ReplyI loved sitting in their outside patio.
Sharing dishes and drinking Chardonnay. My second time there. The waiters were so sweet
Be the first to ReplyI'm sorry but this place is so overhyped.
I've been vegan for around 8 years now, and this restaurant was so underwhelming and disappointing when it comes to what vegan food has to offer. The pros: great ambiance and service. There was an adorable cat that greeted us on the outside patio (or should I say catio). I included a picture of him :). For the dishes, we got the Flora Artisanal Cheese Plate, Maitake Mushroom, the Black Sheep Lamb Kabobs, and the Banana Cream Pie. They really skimped out on the cheese plate. We ran out of crackers in the first couple of bites. The spicy paprika cheese and the truffle cheese were good. The other ones forgettable and grainy in texture. The entrées were more like salads. The "kebabs" were not on sticks but plopped onto some lettuce leaves. The "yogurt" tasted like coconut whipped cream. It needed garlic and onion seasoning to taste like raita. The lamb itself did taste good. The best recreation I've had so far, but I was hungry an hour later. The mushroom dish needed more salt and seasoning as well. The Banana Cream Pie was strangely salty and drowned in flour (I thought it was powdered sugar at first, but no) so it coated every bite. Would not recommend. We also sampled the non-alcoholic wine The Fizz since the other one was out of stock and it tasted like straight-up apple cider vinegar. The bill came out to around $140 with tip. We wanted a bougie experience but this just felt like a scam.
Be the first to ReplyI love this place.
Ate there for the first time on Valentines Day 2022 when they had a fixed menu... it was a 5-6 course meal, all delicious, but the really interesting thing was that we thought that each course, seemingly assembled in a visually arbitrary manner, was flavored in a way that made it taste like something very specific! For example, we thought that, after having to ponder for a while, one of the mushroom dishes, paired with this savory redaction, tasted exactly like a hot dog! I am a vegan and have not tasted a hot dog in ages, but the flavor is hard to forget... we weren't sure if they did this intentionally or not with each meal, but it was super fun and creative. We came back for the regular menu food and it was just as exciting and delicious. What a treat! They also have a restaurant kitty that hangs out on the patio and makes for a perfect dinner companion :) Lastly, the service is impeccable and everyone who works there is super friendly and personable. Will be eating there again.

Be the first to ReplyCozy and delicious place.
Been here more than once. A varied vegetarian menu, very satisfying, everyone will find something to their taste) and the prices are pleasant)

They change their menu pretty frequently and it's a hit or miss. It's pricey but when the menu is good it's really good. They make very nice cheeses. I would say this is a date spot.

Had a reservation on 3/21/23 for my girlfriend's 40th birthday. Drove 50 minutes to get there. Due to the rain, the restaurant had closed (I believe the handwritten sign on the door said there'd been a power outage).Stuff happens, I get it. But never a call or an email to let us know, let alone any follow up.Interestingly, after finding a place in Culver City to eat, we mentioned the situation to our waiter, who said, "Yeah, we had a power outage yesterday. And I got on the phone and called everyone who had a reservation myself."Really disappointed.

I'm sad to write that this restaurant has really gone downhill. It used to be my favorite vegan restaurant in LA; I can now say I will not return. The cheese plate was a fraction of what it used to be- it didn't even have many of the ingredients that were listed on the menu- and the server had no explanation. The cauliflower wasn't cooked properly. Overall, it was an overpriced bust. Disappointing because it's a beautiful spot and concept that has fallen apart.
Be the first to ReplyWe came here to celebrate my husbands birthday.
He is vegetarian and wanted him to have as many options as possible. We ordered:MUSHROOM TOAST -- you really can't go wrong with this own -- very tastySHAKSHUKA - tomato based served with toast - very good had a middle eastern flair with the flavors CHILAQUILES VERDE - great to eat this one, since typically it is with pork, not too spicy and had just the right amount of spice CACIO E PEPE - awesome! FYI, this is served cold and the noodles are kelp -- very good. Great balance of flavor.BANANA CREAM PIE - light and airy - great CHOCOLATE TART - this one has passion fruit and my husband is not too much of a fan but it is very light and very good Overall, everything had so much flavor much better than expected. Also, everything is real food -- not this GMO like meat type stuff.SERVICE: friendly, laid back Venice vibe. ***VERY DOG FRIENDLY ***
Be the first to ReplyIt honestly pains me to write this.
I used to love this place. Food wise, I still do. But the service is SO hit or miss and more often miss. The servers have no professionalism. There are a couple nice women who work here but the young men often don't check in on tables in my experience. I was willing to deal with that though, honestly, but this last weekend we had the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. Our server, an older woman I've seen before but never had the misfortune of sitting at her table, was so unbelievably rude to us. From the very first interaction, we were so confused as to what we could have done to upset her. She spoke to us in such a demeaning tone and then when we were visibly affected by that she switched to a very obviously fake "sweet" voice. She only checked on us one time on her own and the time my friend flagged her down just to order another drink, she literally rolled her eyes before walking over. When we asked her about any exciting new specials she talked everything down?? And finally, she was rubbing her eye with her bare hand (for a long time) and then picked up another customer's glass AT THE TOP to refill it with water! It was such a strange and uncomfortable experience and really ruined this restaurant for me. Zero stars to Paris and management please train your waitstaff!
Be the first to Replysadly we do not currently like this restaurant anymorewe
sadly we do not currently like this restaurant anymorewe have been here many times priorthis time I realize that it is time to enjoy other restaurants with the expansion of more restaurants under this chain, it is becoming overrated and overpriced for what they deliver -- clearly capitalizing on being a trendy place on abbot kinneyfor $300 meal we all would think the service would be stellar and the staff would actually know what dishes they are serving ((they did not! when we asked them what is in the dishes, and if one of the dishes was meant to be cold temperature -- one said no, other staff said yes....))it is tough for me to share this because one of my favorite things to do is support vegan restaurants! though what I actually want is to support the ones that put heart and soul into their value and service
Be the first to ReplySuper nice wait staff, street parking only, sat inside.
Don't be confused by the monogram sign outside PF+W. You're in the right place!Sourdough starters were just okay but the mushroom and potato dish was delicious and the broccoli with delicata squash sauce was UNREAL! They should bottle that sauce. It's a little cramped for a date night because the tables are close together. With the cold weather outside it was pretty chilly inside. Marble tables are very cold. Otherwise fairly comfortable.Clean restrooms, small and pricey wine list. $180 meal for two and we shared a couple starters, a main, and a dessert with a glass of wine each + bottled water. Will come again. Love the plant based cuisine and the apparent care that goes into the dishes. Lots of pride at this place.
Be the first to ReplyOverall a solid 3.
LOVED our server Melinda, but food left much to be desired. Used their private/wine room for a birthday dinner and our friends really jazzed up the space. We were all satisfied with the appetizers - dumplings, avocado dip (very good!), sunchoke, brussel sprouts, but the entrees were very bland. Like no salt, no seasoning, no love. Most got the mushroom plate and while plated prettily they were dissatisfied. I tasted the cauliflower one and ehhh. I'm the only person who actually enjoyed their meal and I got the tempeh pot pie thing. Was tasty! Should also say none of us are vegan except the celebrant - but we still know what good food tastes like? Drinks were good - never had a sake based margarita before. But I got a matcha latte and there was a huge powder ball in the bottom of my cup as it wasn't stirred/dissolved properly. Overall, not a place I'd go out of my way for, not a place I'd avoid.

Came here for Thanksgiving, and had an absolutely amazing meal. The service was absolutely amazing. We were able to park pretty easily on the street and the patio outside is absolutely adorable. It was a 5 course vegan meal with wine pairing that left me and my mom so full and everything was absolutely delicious. Coming here is definitely a treat as it's expensive b it we loved the food. The flavors were super complex and we were very impressed. Can't wait to come back here at some point to try the regular menu.
Be the first to ReplyGorgeous food and ambience.
Amazing service. Food was delicious even though I am not vegan myself. Only complaint was that it is slightly in the pricier side for smaller portions of veggies. Enjoyed the food however and would definitely recommend to a vegan friend.
Be the first to ReplyThe food is alright.
The menu looks incredible, but the food is quite bland. The produce quality is also lower than what it should be for the prices.. very small portions as well. Yikes. Kimchi dumplings were not good at all. The Cacio e Pepe was great--fantastic even. The Harissa Cauliflower was lacking and the cauliflower was poorly cooked. The Brussels sprouts.. same deal. Not cooked well. My mom and I thought it was just alright. I'm not sure I'd go back. The servers were friendly! I want to like this place!!
Be the first to ReplyThe bread was phenomenal.
And then- I don't really think anything else was WOW. The food it self wasn't bad. I ate it all without a problem. But for the price, the ambiance, and how great Sestina is [the other restaurant owned by the same person], I expected more. The dessert wasn't special. The pasta seemed very average. Again, how soft the bread is made me remember it the most. Not sure if I had to try something else to be convinced- but if I feel like that, maybe I shouldn't return. I don't expect to return here. The service was great, street parking easy to find depending on time. The restaurant itself was absolutely beautiful too.

Love this place! Great outdoor seating on the patio - even had an adorable cat visitor. Food was well spaced for sharing and conversation. Staff was friendly and helpful. Ordered the Kimchi Dumplings, Miatake, and the Cauliflower. Every dish was delicious healthy vegan food! Will definitely visit again when in town.

My favorite vegan place in all of California! Actually, this is the restaurant that converted me to be vegan, it's that good. This place is perfect if you're thinking about trying vegan food, not to mention a stunning place for a first date!
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant has SUCH a beautiful patio and top notch
This restaurant has SUCH a beautiful patio and top notch service. Our waiter gave us great suggestions and was so friendly and kept our water coming. My favorite things that we ordered were really the sourdough bread with the lavender butter with fennel pollen - THAT was the star of the evening truthfully. It was so unique and delicious - I want to go back just for that alone. The cheese plate was wonderful as well - and so was the raclette. I'm not a vegan, but I LOVE any food that is tasty. I do feel like I have had better vegan food in other places, but the butter and raclette and cheese plate were outstanding. The lasagna - kind of hard to divide, and it was tasty, but didn't thrill me. The coconut curry udon was tasty, but I've had better at more authentic restaurants that serve veg versions of this kind of dish. The gnocchi was a nice dish - very subtle. We also tried all 3 desserts which were yummy. The banana with coconut ice cream was definitely the favorite of the trio. I would probably go with 4 stars but honestly, the service is SO good, and with certain items being very special, I had to go with 5.
