Quarters Korean BBQ Los Angeles Reviews from The Last Year

Just a really cool spot! The food and ambiance were great! They have TVs showing the basketball game and a little bar outside for the waiting line. What an idea!! Parking was nothing to wish on any enemy but it's LA. I will be going there again.

Came on a Saturday night for a birthday celebration around 7:30PM and waited about 45 mins for a table. There is bar service available during your wait Located in a small plaza with valet parking. If not there's street parking or a parking garage across the street for $20 We ordered 2 Large combos for a party of 9 people and I think the portion was just the right amount. Not too much and not too little. Side dishes as usual are free refills. Love that the staff cooks the meet for you! Service was great and very friendly! I got their lychee martini which was slightly strong but still tasty! I'd recommend to try this if you're a fan of lychee. Overall this is a great spot for family and friends! The vibes are nice here!

The food and service is excellent but the attitudes and behaviors of their employees are not acceptable. Their employees' attitude and behavior are health hazards and disgusting. First of all, the female worker was on a device talking and handling trash with her feet as well as contaminating her own device with bathroom stuff. That is a health hazard and not even supposed to be something to consider. Secondly, I know there is norovirus around and my two male guests at different times, saw a worker not wash their hands in the bathroom. How can the handles and faucet be clean if they don't wash their hands. I really like Korean food and service, and I would go back again. But the thought of these employees not washing their hands, I don't think so. I was just there Sunday, May 19, 2024, party of 8. You may contact me at rmovillion@live.com Sincerely, Rebecca

First time here.
Was in the area and saw the raving reviews and wanted to check out the hype. Parking. There's a valet guy, but "it's self parking." Fee: $20 cash/card. It felt like extortion. There's an outdoor bar that you can order your drinks while you wait AND and there's a beautiful fire place. There were many heat lamps on top to keep us warm. The food was delicious. We ordered pork belly, brisket and the premium beef bone-In short rib. Everything was good. The premium beef bone-in short rib was sooooo good, that we just had to order seconds, and went too far- too much food. All the sides were delicious. The servers were super friendly and helpful! Would definitely come back. Excellent kbbq! Not AYCE, in case you were wondering, but super worth it.
I love coming here! I've become a regular fairly quickly.
I love DB! Everyone is amazing here but something about when he cooks our food it's THE BEST! I love the consistency here! I can eat here every day and never get tired of it. The pork belly and the boneless short rib are my absolute fav! 100/100 the wait was only 30 minutes on a busy Sunday - amazing. It doesn't get better than quarters!
Such a great KBBQ spot in Koreatown with high quality food
Such a great KBBQ spot in Koreatown with high quality food & service! Went with my mom for lunch around 2 PM and was seated with no wait. We ordered the Beef Combo, which comes with three types of meat: Brisket, Rib Eye, and Bulgogi. They were super generous with the sides -- we got two types of salad, kimchi pancake, cheese fondue, steamed egg, soybean stew; and more. We also ordered a side of the kimchi fried rice, which was delicious. The ribeye was my personal favorite -- flavorful and just melts in your mouth! You also don't have to cook the meat, which is such a plus at KBBQs. Our server was so attentive and quick! The restaurant is also clean and vibey. One downside is that the restaurant is pretty loud inside, so it's difficult to hold a conversation. Would highly recommend this place if you're looking for a delicious, reasonable KBBQ spot.

Amazing service!!! I want to give a shoutout to the Manager- Roy for his excellent customer service and care. I went with my daughter for a Mother's Day dinner. We had a wonderful time at the restaurant with all the flavorful meats that melted in my mouth. We enjoyed it so much that my daughter left and forgot her purse. We called the next morning to check for lost and found. Roy - the manager said they found it, and told me to come back to pick it up. I informed him that we lived 6 hours away and asked if he can ship it to us. I was willing to pay for the shipping. However, Roy told me that he was more than willing to ship it to me the next day with no charge. I was so happy and impressed! It's so heartwarming how he cares for his customers. I really appreciated it and am definitely looking forward to coming back every time I visit LA. They deserve 5 stars not only for their delicious foods but also for the best customer service that I have ever experienced.

This is the second time I went there, this time I did not at all feel rushed. Their tap beer selection is excellent, quality instead of endless quantity. Bbq meat was all mighty tasty, service very friendly and unobtrusive, full 5 stars in every respect!
Terrible experience.
Waiters were rude and weren't able to satisfy my meat cravings. Small proportions and overpriced. Pip squeak pipe down
Great quality food, especially the beef and pork selections.
Service excellent. Ambiance is cool and energizing.

Let's start from the good thing, even though they had a wait time for more than 45 minutes they have a nice waiting area where you can sit and chitchat or even have drinks. We wanted to try some new kbbq place so decided to go there. I have been to tons of KBBQ place and looks like this place is just a hype. Nothing extraordinary. Beef Bulgogi was too sweet. But I was so disappointed when I saw pork belly. This is the worst pork belly ever ever seen in my life. Lastly the service, we had to wait extra 10/15min for check, the waiter who helped us just disappeared. We had to wave another table's waitress to bring our check.

The food is really good services inconsistent the drinks are absolutely amazing ambience is amazing
We were there on a Sunday at 11am ish.
Quality of meat was pretty good, we ordered the large combo, perfectly enough food for the four of us. Side dishes were all good (no refills though), soy bean paste soup was really good as well. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!! I mean we paid 18-20% tips for lunch, and honesty, I am not asking for a red carpet lay out for me or over the top services, all I am asking is just regular decent service we get as a customer in a restaurant. Where server does not throw our food around on the grill, or when they got raw meat juice in my water, they'd get me a new glass of water, or hostess doesn't kick our chair around in front of us while we are at the table. Although the food was good, it was just a terrible dining experience. I'd go elsewhere (That's just my opinion though).
I specifically asked for a non-alcoholic drink and ordered
I specifically asked for a non-alcoholic drink and ordered an orange juice. I received the drink and it was sparkling. I started feeling the effects of alcohol because I have an alcohol allergy, I asked again if it was non-alcoholic. The waiter said it was regular orange juice and I asked if it should be sparkling and he said "no", yet my drink was carbonated. The people in the group I was with all tried it and said it did not taste like plain orange juice. I said I was feeling the effects of alcohol and the waiter said he would check for me. He returned with a new cup of orange juice and it was not carbonated this time. My group also tried some and said it tasted like regular oranged juice, which was different from the first cup. I asked the bartender as well how the drink was made and he claimed both cups of juice came from the orange juice jug. They could not provide an answer to why the drink was carbonated or why I was feeling tipsy/drunk and jittery from my alcohol allergy. The bartender who answered my questions did not apologize for the situation and was only defensive. This is a dangerous mistake as I have an alcohol allergy. I cannot imagine what the situation would be if this happened to a pregnant person or someone on medication. The supervisor was called and claimed that the only thing that could cause carbonation would be soda water and could not explain why I was showing evident symptoms of alcohol consumption. He offered me benydryl which shouldn't be mixed with alcohol and took off 20% of our bill and removed the extra items we ordered. He said it was the "least" he could do. He did apologize for the situation but said that he had to also consider "both sides" (me who experienced symptoms vs the bartenders who couldn't even remember if they put soda water or anything else in the drink). I asked if they had a breathalyzer, but they did not have one. The fact that they gave me an allergic reaction ruined the experience for me.

Quarters is one of my go to kbbq spots whenever I'm with a big group. It has the BEST SIDES of all the kbbq restaurants in the area and the prices aren't that bad; usually would pay $30-45 between 2 ppl for 4 rounds of meat. I will say it is a very busy location-the only time there's no wait is lunch time but after 5pm the wait is usually very long. The inside is also very loud from the amount of people talking to the music, it very much gives a club vibe inside. Waiters are very sweet and helpful however and always giving as many side refills as we ask. Def also recommend the Kimchi fried rice it's the best side to buy! I also like how quarters has the to go option if there's anything left over which I appreciate. If you don't feel like AYCE then I recommend Quarters!

We ordered the large combo and a bold of cold noodles with a party of 5. The marinated beefs here are so freaking good! The pork belly is fine and the pork jowl is very soft with all the fat so it was good. The cold noodle was a bit disappointing for me as I felt like it was quite tasteless for us, so I don't recommend it. I love the kimchi stew as it is not too salty and tasteless like other places. The broccoli banchan is super good. We refilled it for like 7 times because all of our family enjoyed it. The customer service is good as they sometimes notice that your side dishes need to be refilled and do it for you without being asked, so that's a plus for the service. It costs us a bit more than $40+/person, so it was not too expensive considering it's in LA. Overall a very positive experience and recommend it!

Excellent food! Sauces are very tasty and good quality meat. Lots of greens to balance the meal. Excellent servers. Please note they do not serve food outdoors at lunch time, only for dinner on Weekends. Will not serve outdoor on weekdays/weeknights.

This place was amazing!!!!! I have never been to a Korean BBQ before even though I am comfortable with most cuisines. I live in the San Francisco Bay area and we pride our self on great food. We were visiting Los Angeles with my family that have flown over from the UK. My daughter's friend suggested this place because she comes to Los Angeles quite often because her uncle lives here . Food was absolutely Amazing, My wife delicious and the service was fantastic. I had no idea what to order so I ordered a set meal for 3 to 4 people and added two orders of shrimp and one order of teriyaki chicken and one order of spicy Chicken for the six people in our party. When we arrived there was kimchi, salad, spicy tofu, fantastic flavored sauces and a couple other dishes as we sat down complementary. That was amazing because we were really hungry and could start eating away. When they brought out all the protein that they were going to Cooke, we were shocked and thought it would be way too much to eat it wasn't. We devoured all the food as it was made, while seeing it being cooked before us and gave us a little break in between each protein. The bill was only $280 for six people, including Drinks the bill Price blew me away. It was the best dining experience I've had in a couple of years and one of the cheapest for that amount of people . Great job keep doing what you're doing
Stole 80$ from me
They ‚accidentally’ booked 80$ more from my credit card than the amount on the bill. Was given an email address to contact but they never bothered to answer. I live abroad and noticed too late. would definitely not recommend!!!
Dinner in Los Angeles, CA
One of my favorite Korean BBQ in the area! Came here late Saturday night around 11pm and it was packed!!! Had to wait about 45 mins for a table for 2. Highly recommend the Premium Marinated Beef Bone-In Short Rib!!! The Beef Brisket is good too! They give a decent amount of banchans (complimentary sides) and the Steamed Egg Soup was really good.
Great KBBQ!
Quarters uses Resy Reservation (They block certain times on purpose- downside), was initially told the wait would be 45 mins but when the server asked our preference (inside or out), we were open to both and the wait changed from 45 to 2 mins. The Banchan was already at the table – kimchi, salad, green onion salad, rice paper, radish kimchi, sweet potato, tofu, broccoli, steamed egg and rice (need to ask for it) Ordered combo #2; beef belly, boneless short ribs, grilled bulgogi and pork jowl. This really does serve 2-3 people, if you are bigger party getting the large makes sense you are only pay $51 per person with tax and tip vs what we paid which was $62 each total $124 for both of us. I was surprised they put cheese in a tin cup and added it to the grill but quickly became a fan of the fondue, it was addicting!! Our server Crystal was very fast and friendly, I don’t think we ever picked up any of the cooking tools, they do it all for you! They do cook at a fast pace – Just remember you are also paying for the ambience so, if need be, tell them to slow it down =)
Super positive experience!!
I'm just saying that I would like to return to LA, also to have dinner again in this cool restaurant!! They don't take reservations, only "physical" queuing. You get there and leave your name on the list but the wait, sometimes quite long, is really worth it... In the center of the table you will find a barbecue and already some typical things to eat. Then you order what you want, but the guys who work there are super nice, they give you a hand by trying to make you understand what to eat 🤣. Truly delicious food and prices in line with the city! In truth, the two of us spent around $150 including tip, which to be honest, are the same prices I find in the Sicilian city where I live!

Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
