Very nice table.
A delicious meal where the flavors are original and take you on a journey. Very pleasant service and good wines recommended by a seasoned sommelier. A special mention to this fabulous candied celery dessert that I would never have chosen on the menu and which I loved. A little more reserved about the chocolate parsley dessert which seemed less indulgent to me. We will gladly come back. Well done.

Special decoration, very modern ok!, Lack of originality in my opinion, too much light, very white and to conclude very noisy I find, because space is optimized as much as possible… The contents of the plates are quite bland or simplistic I find for a Michelin star, a recital of the servers of their lesson, I am still looking for the flavors described, good! Half of what we tasted was good, with a success (crispy monkfish and different seaweed accompaniments, perfect) and successful desserts, not a big fan of the onion jam at the end of the meal but we had to dare and just to that’s respect… Well in short Bof!!! Too bad we thought we were having fun. Not sure to try again given the price???

Very pleasant welcome, warm and attentive service, absolutely delicious cuisine. Refinement and courtesy.
Be the first to ReplyA great discovery
We spent a very nice evening in Racines. Everything was very good, with a special mention for the desserts which were really great! We had the food and wine pairing, which although goes very well with the dishes, is very expensive when you look at the low price of the bottles served. A little disappointed by this aspect, but we without hesitation recommend the tasting menu for great taste discoveries! Given the price, food and wine pairing is not essential.

Disappointed, lack of flavors, the scallops quite bland, the pork too firm, the leeks accompanying the fish almost raw, in short Bof. On the other hand, a nice discovery in the desserts and in particular the rum onion compote Too bad we thought we were having fun. Maybe try again? The setting a little cold but nicely decorated

Excellent, We had a memorable time with the family, everything was perfect! We were in front of the kitchen and were able to appreciate the process of preparing the dishes... everything is prepared with harmony and synchronization with no false notes, each dish is validated by chef Virginie who brings her personal touch... We took the 6-course gourmet menu and we took the food/wine pairing not being very white wine and the sommelier Fabien, very attentive and friendly, found an excellent compromise to satisfy us, it was perfect ! Really excellent meal, very professional waiters who clearly explain each plate and each wine with great professionalism! We recommend, experience to repeat for us without hesitation 😊
Be the first to ReplyA symphony of tastes and a few hiccups!
A first time since the star was awarded... A moment of great indulgence, with 3 highlights: the smoked scallops, the plate around the veal and the dessert around the fennel... Lots of subtleties, finesse, surprising combinations... But a few false notes spoil this experience: straight away, the lighting (cold, almost surgical) and then this bench along the wall (stiff, whose distance from the table cannot be adjusted... for almost 3 hours!!!) and finally the presentation of the dishes by the waiters, school recitation, mechanics, shipped... What a shame!!!

Welcome, professional, attentive and friendly service. 6-course discovery menu: What sweetness and harmony in each preparation. All the dishes were delicious, it's hard to say which one was our favorite. Wine pairing: All the wines selected went perfectly with the dishes with great discoveries (monkfish and red wine for example). We feasted Thank you to the whole team and to the chef with whom we were able to chat at the end of the meal.

The restaurant has seen better days. The classic French menu is still prepared extremely sloppily.

A short menu that skillfully combines original textures and flavors. Beautiful local products, impeccable service in a chic and relaxed atmosphere. Magnificent taste experience
Be the first to ReplyProfessionalise staff to keep star
Just returned from a very long evening at Racine’s the space is beautiful and stylish the food also when it came out was tasty and elegant. Unfortunately nobody between the kitchen or waitstaff had any interest in ensuring we had a good experience. This is certainly not a feeling one should have with a Michelin stared restaurant. For example after waiting a half hour between each course the wine paring potions were so meagre we asked for a supplemental glass of wine and to leave the water bottle on the table so we wouldn’t have to wait endlessly for refills they refused to give us wine even though this is what we wanted and offered to pay. After over three hours of waiting and the entire dining room waiting for food you could see into the open kitchen where the kitchen staff were busy mopping up the floor and Turing off lights completely unprofessional. The hospitality industry has suffered but this was a terrible experience for a restaurant meant to be of a certain calibre. This is not the experience at similar restaurants in Rennes where service and food have been wonderful.
