May 2022, the food was delicious, service was great, but it all comes at a high price. We needed a change in the restaurants we were going to in the area and decided to try the Rainbow Palace with friends. Honestly, I loved the decor inside, and they had a nice cozy bar area, no outdoor seating, but there is plenty of Metered Parking. This is not your traditional Asian restaurant, not like NYC, where they give you a bowl of crispy crunchy noodles, and sweet and hot sauce for dipping as a starter when you arrive. James our server was wonderful, he took great care of our table. Now for the food review, I refused to get the Wonton Soup for 8 dollars (there is only 2 Wontons in the soup), my friend ordered it and the broth and Wontons (2) were delicious, but NO crunchy noodles to put in your Soup after the Wontons are gone, Why? We ordered a few Appetizers, Spring Rolls (2) at 6 dollars, delicious not greasy. Shrimp and Lobster Dumplings at 19 dollars (in my opinion that cost was a little too high, but we wanted to try it anyway), they were delicious. Then for our Main dishes we ordered the Vegetable Lo Main at 19 dollars, loved the noodles they were thin not thick with plenty of vegetables. Then my friend ordered the day’s Special, Sweet & Sour Chicken that was fresh and delicious, but can’t recall price. My other friend ordered the Roast Duck with Portabella Mushrooms and Asparagus at 32 dollars, this was also delicious - the duck for not overcooked and the vegetables were crispy. We did not order dessert because we were all full, but we did order teas. This restaurant is great for a special occasion or a first time try since in my opinion it is too costly to make this my go to restaurant. All and all, we would come back here to eat, or bring family or friends if they are coming down to Florida to visit us.
