What’s so special about being recommended by Michelin for three consecutive years? As a foodie, I have never eaten it, which is quite a bit Ashamed, I swear I will remember this after I go there this time Yu Xin, if someone asks me in the future if I know the taste of Bianjian ramen, I will definitely Recommend Ramen Jo, mark my word! 👇🏻 - 📌Ramen - ▪️ Nakoya Spicy Ramen – $95 ▫️ The first must-eat popular recommendation "Nagoya Spicy Ramen", This version uses thick noodles, sauce base and spicy sauce, and is covered with noodles Specially made minced pork, soy sauce from Chiba Prefecture, seasoned well, It’s not too salty; the barbecued pork is evenly fat and thin, and it’s smooth in the mouth. It’s quite delicious; the ingredients include white onions, corns, leeks, Japanese soft-boiled eggs are quite rich in layers! - ▪️ Chicken White Soup Ramen - $98 ▫️ The second must-eat must be the "Chicken White Soup Ramen". The fish soup is rich and flavourful, with a smooth texture; the noodles are thick and The soup is mixed with special chicken fat, and the noodles are chewy and chewy; The chicken is also a surprise. It’s not as elastic as the top of the shoe. Zhongyou’s half-boiled eggs are extremely slippery, add Japanese juice Matsuda cider, in one word, cool! - 📌Snacks - ▪️ Beef tongue with green onions and flowers - $70 ▫️ For snacks, try a few of the items on the left, this one is "Beef Tongue with Green Onion" It smells so fragrant, the beef tongue is the same size, and the portion is full of noodles. Chopped green onions, moderate saltiness, juicy meat, delicious. - ▪️ Chicken skin dumplings - $48 ▫️ Another dish of "Chicken Skin Dumplings", the chef uses chicken skin to make it perfect Cover the dumplings like this, the surface will look swollen, and the chicken skin will fall off. The fruity smoke has a tough texture and a very special taste. - ▪️ Homemade dumplings - $32/3 pieces ▫️ Another "homemade dumpling" is so crispy on the surface. But it stays juicy inside and doesn’t feel greasy at all. Once you taste it, you will be addicted. - ▪️ Fried chicken cartilage - $48 ▫️ Zhong You had to order the "fried chicken cartilage" which was fried immediately after being ordered. It’s so crunchy and crunchy that you won’t be able to stop eating it! - 📎 Ramen Jo 📍 Shop G/F, No. 3 Lin Shan Road, Ka Road, Causeway Bay
Be the first to ReplyAuthentic tsukemen
Ramen Jo is one of the first original Japanese ramen joints in the city. It is a small place at the sleepy end of Causeway Bay. Noodle options are aplenty. Tsukemen is a hearty, flavorful option. The thick noodle is chewy. Dipping sauce is rich and tasty. Chasho is surprisingly nice. Service is cold and minimal, though. Price is on the upper end but in general, this is a nice choice in the area.

A standard small ramen shop.
Soy Tonkotsu - light in flavour, but a delicious choice
Nagoya Spicy - really good broth with a hint of spice
Service is quick and efficient
One of the cheaper bowls of Ramen around Hong Kong.
《Delicious tsukemen that gets you drooling 🤤》

Recommended by the Michelin Guide for several consecutive years, < Ramen Jo > is a cosy little joint sitting in this quiet street in Causeway Bay.
Their soup bases are made fresh every day, rich and flavorful. With noodles that are sooo absorbent, you get to suck in all that flavor of the broth from the noodles 😛.
▷ Spicy tsukemen 辣味沾麵 ($95) ◁
It was good that the broth was served in a porcelain bowl which keeps warm. ♨️
Made with their homemade chilli sauce, the broth was quite spicy. 🌶️🌶️
Ramen Jo uses thick, chewy ramen noodles for their tsukemen. 🍜
Dip and slurp - enjoy every mouthful packed with flavor.
▷ Slow-cooked pork ramen 特製低溫叉燒麵 ($118) ◁
Char siu is slow-cooked at 66°C - tender, delicious, but so thin it seemed to lack fat 🤪.
Thin noodles are used for this dish so they could soak in all that creamy tonkotsu pork bone broth.
Superb tonkotsu ramen...
...which, although not the best in HK or even CWB (it truly is a blessed area), is still fantastic. Plus the gyoza was just perfect. Cash only and no bookings but definitely worth visiting!
Be the first to ReplyNo gimmicks or frills -- just good, fast, simple ramen
Ordered the spicy tonkatsu ramen and it was pretty darn good. The broth definitely had a spicy kick and the noodles (thinner ones) held their integrity as I ate my meal. Also, the pork belly was cut thinner -- just the way I prefer.
I like to pair ramen with a side a pork cutlet and did so here; but the cutlet was pretty average -- Ramen Jo used way too much batter and I just tasted a lot of it when I bit into the cutlet. Overall pretty good ramen -- a decent cutlet would have put it over the top. I'd definitely be here multiple times a week for lunch if I lived or worked nearby.
