Only so-so
Let me start by saying this was the very first time I had been to a ramen restaurant, so my review reflects that. It was okay - I ended up ordering what our server suggested which was the chef's specialty. It had huge hunks of pork in it and two kinds of noodles. We also got some sushi which was really good. For dessert, we got the ice cream sandwiches which were incredibly cute and delicious! Service was a miss as our waiter did not bring our check for 30 minutes and when we ordered more sushi or additional desserts, it seemed to be an inconvenience. We did see, however, lots of DoorDash type of orders being placed on a shelf, so perhaps the restaurant was just slammed with orders.

The Tonkatsu ramen was amazing. The best I have ever had. My husband ordered the Poke Bowl and it was amazing too. We were only in Baltimore for 4 days and we went back for more

I had the most awesome Ramen at this place. We were a family of six. Each of us had something different and each dish was outstanding. The Tontsu Sho (Pork broth with soy sauce) that I had was outstanding with each taste and flavour standing out when you start eating and then slowly blending in to create a whole new flavour as you dig in more. The sliced pork is cooked to melt-in-the-mouth perfection with the bean sprouts, spring onions, noodles and soft boiled egg adding different textures to each mouthful. We also ordered the hot and cold house sake and they a great smooth drink to go with the food. I loved the cold one and my friends found the warm sake equally good. It is in a great location of 5 mins from Inner Harbour. This is a must to go place for great, tasty, heartwarming Ramen.

We recently had a couple of meals at Ramen Utuske during our recent trip to Baltimore. The place is not fancy and the decor not great but the food was exceptional. Many varieties of ramen with different sauce options. Also some differerent and interesting sake choices. Ramen with black and red sauce - yum! Located right on the inner harbor. Expect it to be crowded. Can't wait to return and try some more ramen options.

We discovered this restaurant during our stay at the Inner Harbor. The place was clean, food was great, and service was good. Will definitely be back.

Fantastic. Ramen Utsuke was a revelation. My fiancee and I were in town for the weekend and we had dinner reservations at another restaurant on Saturday night, but no plans for Friday night. She looked up area restaurants on an app, and saw this one. Knowing how much she loves ramen, I agreed to try it. I am so glad I did. The service was quick, our orders were filled accurately, and the food was... incredible. We ordered the pork gyoza, the spicy green beans to share, and we each ordered a bowl of ramen. Everything was delicious. In fact, it was so good that we vowed to go back the next day for lunch, which we did. Lunch was just as good as dinner. We again ordered the gyoza to share, as well as a crunchy shrimp roll, both of which were outstanding. Since it was lunch, we only ordered one bowl of ramen, but added a second order of the protein to it. Different ramen, but just as good as what we'd had the night before. The restaurant is on the small side, so there can be a bit of a wait for a table if you don't beat the rush, but it is well worth it.

We changed our dinner reservations to instead get a table at Ramen Utsuke after finishing a nearby sunset sail of the harbor. We walked into a busy ramen joint that will be familiar to folks who used to the genre. I had the Tonkotsu Shoyu with extra noodles and corn and found it to be in the better half of ramen's I've tried. The service was a bit slow and uneven, as it appeared some of the wait staff may have been new or overwhelmed. Nonetheless, we made it through dinner in a reasonable time with full bellies (I probably wouldn't get the extra noodles next time).

You can tell this is a new place as soon as you walk in. The staff are still trying to figure stuff out as they were much busier than they expected to be. When we were there the two guys working the front of the house were getting crushed. But they fought through it. We ordered the Tako-yaki and fried dumplings for appetizers. Both were outstanding. Main dishes were Classic Shoyu for her and Tonkotsu Black & Red for me. Again outstanding. The staff did there best to make sure everything was great for everyone. I personally think they did a great jobs in all aspects. Food was outstanding, service was great and the place is really nice inside. Good job guys.
