Not worth your time
Was excited to try this spot but was disappointed. Very pretentious and terrible service. Had hoped for better. Ended up leaving without getting anything.
Be the first to ReplyA great experience
This made the top of the list for our sonโs 21st birthday. Such a great experience. The attention to detail made the experience so great
Be the first to ReplyWell worth a visit!
Excellent drinks, very cool atmosphere. Ver much in character and takes you back in time. Not the typical bar and well worth the visit more than once.
Be the first to ReplyMust see/do! You wonโt regret it.
If you have the time while in Nashville. This is a must see/do. We had never been to anything like this. It was awesome. If you didnโt know this was a bar, you would walk right passed it. Once you get the right number in the phone a door opens and a greeter is in character from the start. They do have a collared shirt dress code for men. If youโre not wearing one they do have ones you can borrow. Which was hysterical in itself. The place is beautiful and so warm and cozy. The service we got was mediocre but the experience, drinks & cigars speak for themselves. Will definitely be a stop on our travel plans every time in Nashville.

The waitress was outstanding and accommodating. The food and drinks were just so so. Very different experience from previous visits where the drinks were outstanding. Maybe because it was a Monday and a different mixologist???? The hummus had carrots that were old the bread was reheated and hard, she brought us more fresh cucumbers which was great! Smoked old fashioned didnโt have typical smokiness, Manhattan too sweet. Maybe an off night for them๐
Be the first to ReplyAtlanta is better
Manager and waitress were very condescending to my wife and I. I was dressed nicely with a V neck, dress jeans and shoes. We waited along time after being seated for service and when waitress showed up she made excuses as to why it took so long. Ordered two drinks, one smoked. The one in Atlanta smokes it in front of you. Waitress made condescending remarks as to why they donโt do that. She asked if I wanted separate checks. Kinda bizarre. Mt wife and I travel a lot. Bill was $42.00 for two drinks on menu for $13.00 each. More excuses but no detailed receipt. Wish I never went so I could have kept the Atlanta location as a memory not this one.

Loved the mystique of getting in. Loved the phone booth to get in.....the vibe was exactly as advertised. Such a fun memorable night. Extensive cocktail and cigar menu. Both very good, we enjoyed a charcuterie board and a pizza. A memorable night. The doorman was a bit stoic but that was fine and they carded us which was a surprise.
Be the first to ReplyGreat secret in Nashville
Enjoyed the secretive way to get in. Loved AJ upon entry, informed us on what to expect and of the fine establishment. Our waitress was the sweetest and made great food recommendations. Would definitely go back!
Be the first to ReplyVery cool Cigar Bar with good ventilation!
What a unique place! Ask the hotel concierge for a # to use to gain access. Once you enter you are transported to an old speakeasy with lots of unique cocktails and great ambiance. Cute areas with couches and relaxed atmosphere.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent Speakeasy!
This is a really cool concept! But โ Warning โ They smoke cigars in here! So, while staying at a large hotel nearby, I was looking for an interesting cocktail bar and found this place online, but everything we read about it suggested you needed to be โreferredโ to gain entry, typically via a phone number youโd dial from the phone booth out front. We asked our hotel front desk and they gave me the card for this place with the number on it. We walked there and upon arriving there was a person out front with a tablet, we gave him the referring info from the card and he went in to check on availability. He then came back out through the back wall of the phone booth, which is a secret door and we went in that way โ really neat! We first sat in the lounge area behind the bar and then noticed the guy next to us was smoking a cigar, thatโs when I noticed this was not only a speakeasy, but a cigar lounge with a large walk-in humidor. I asked to be moved to an area where less people were sitting/smoking, as we really donโt like cigars at all, they promptly accommodated us. I will say that the staff there was great! Also, their smoke eater system is phenomenal!! Iโve never been in a place where people were smoking, a LOT, only to leave and not have any smell of smoke in my nostrils or in my clothing! We wanted a small bite, since we had dinner plans, but when our server told us they had a custom-made pizza oven from Italy and they made amazing pizza, we opted for their DOP. It was OUTSTANDING! Crust was amazing and the sauce was perfection!! The cocktails we got were AMAZING as well. Prices are very fair here too! They have really comfy leather couches throughout and nice little niches to sit in. Iโd definitely suggest stopping in, but like I said, only if you can somewhat tolerate cigar smoke. We completely hate it, but had no problem with the way they manage it in here and the food, cocktails and service, made us not worry about it.

We lived in Nashville for many a year and have visited The Red Phone Booth often, especially after it first opened. We would recommend it to friends and always enjoyed sharing the experience. Today, November 2022 we are back in town and its just not the same experience. The food menu has always been limited to Pizza BUT its was the BEST pizza. That's all changed, lower your food expectations if you do go. Its still a fun speakeasy but its lost it way a little, especially in a town now that is full of new restaurants and experiences.
Be the first to ReplyFantastic Cocktails and Great Service
This was a very nice find. The cocktail recommendations were great and the food was exactly what we wanted before our event at The Ryman.
Be the first to ReplyQuite possibly the best vibe in Nashville.
This place is amazing. The incredible ambience is matched only by the quality of the drinks. I did an old fashioned with a light petite corona cigar. Can't say I've ever been happier. Will definitely be back. Also, Matt โ great guy. Thanks for obliging. Thankfully, Clayton Cohn
Be the first to ReplyWonderful Speakeasy
The only bummer was that someone had ruined the phone booth but when the manager opened the door and let us inside we didn't care! The ambiance is perfect, the service is excellent and the cocktails ( in a groups of 7 ladies we had 7 different cocktails) and they were all wonderful
Be the first to ReplyFun way to end evening.
Need the phone number to get into. Have to get it from your hotel โฆupscale only. Speak easy where you go into a phone both on the side walk dial the correct number and the back of booth opens up into a bar. Superb cocktails at reasonable prices. Be forewarned this is also a cigar bar so the smell is prevalent but not overwhelming.
Be the first to ReplyAwful door man
I'd give this establishment a zero if I could. My husband and I had dinner at The Standard across the street and were recommended this place. We were given a phone number to call. There was no line. I got in the booth, dialed the number from my cell phone (since their phone system was broken)....no dial tone. Meanwhile, a woman got out of a car and miraculously - a door opened for her. After several moments, a man came out and I tried to come in since the door was open. A heavier man with short/shaved hair waved his hand (while talking to a group of women at a table) in a dismissive way and told me to "not sneak into my establishment." I closed the door and we left. First of all, when there isn't a line, come out and tell your customers that you are full, that would have been a cordial and satisfactory response. We are two well dressed people who do not need to be treated like s*it by a bouncer who is trying to make an impression at a group of women. We had a great time in Nashville, but this was a huge let down on our last night. We understand this is a private establishment, but you don't need to treat people like sh*it and only cater to women who are coming in alone. This was an uncivilized approach.

Wow! What a phenomenal speakeasy! Love the phone booth entry into a large bar and cigar smoke lounge. Very up scale with an extensive list of drinks; outstanding selection of whiskey and bourbon. All fit into the probation era. A must visit if you enjoy speakeasies! We will return!
