Palm Beach Elegance
Dined at Renato’s during Spring break with a family of 6. We had our 3 & 5 year old kids with us and at times this can become uncomfortable at fine dining establishments but Renato’s was so enjoyable!! The staff were all so friendly, professional and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious! The service was quick and great. This restaurant is so beautiful and filled with elegant and classy patrons and staff. Would highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyVery good food and atmosphere, very poor service
Food was very good, very nice atmosphere. Service was very poor when we had dinner there two nights ago with friends. Took a long time to come ask for drinks, then another long time to take orders. Had to call or signal waiter for refills on drinks. There were four of us, one received incorrect more expensive appetizer. Asked for coffee at the end of the meal with dessert. Coffee did not arrive before the check did.

We had a perfect experience at Renatos. I’ve eaten there numerous times, and last night didn’t disappoint. We had three tables in the ctyd. Weather was great and the food was amazing. Service was spot on and wine was so good. My guests are all talking about what a great time and food they had!!
Be the first to ReplyOverpriced and Tasteless
The food was exceptionally high priced and literally flavorless. The pasta Bolognese had no flavor what so ever. The flavor profile was the water in the pasta. In addition iced tea for my wife and half club soda and cranberry for me was $24.00. Running up the tab like this is petty and insulting. Just not a good overall experience.
Be the first to ReplyFavorite restaurant on our vacation
We have eaten out every night on our vacation at great restaurants, but this was the crowd favorite. The outside patio was beautiful and everyone’s pasta was wonderful. Would definitely come back again when we visit the area.

Be the first to ReplyAs wonderful as ever!
We visit Palm beach annually and have dined everywhere. Renato's remains a gem than we adore. The atmosphere, service and food were all absolutely wonderful on our visit this week. The lobster ravioli special was outstanding. We can't wait to return to special spot.

Nino was a friendly, attentive and patient server !! The food was good, came out quick and it was overall a great experience. The past few years I’ve noticed that it’s rare to have attentive, friendly servers so I think I appreciated that more than I appreciated not having to cook 😂

Love this place. Every time we are in Palm Beach we make sure we get by Renato’s one night. If you want really good Italian food this is a must. Staff is great and very attentive. Bolognese was delicious with just the right spice. Good ole chicken parm is outstanding. Ravioli and shrimp special was delicious too. Ended it all with Crème Brolle and lava cake which was also very good. Nino was our waiter in charge of drinks and desserts and was outstanding! This is a must do if you are on Palm Beach Island!

The first impression of a very nice decor is upset soon after being seated and watching al the servers fly by the table. The menu is classic Italian with very few modern touches but the food itself is poorly prepared. For example, the Duck L'Orange was the driest such bird I've ever had. And the opening salad ingredients were far form fresh and the composition was uninspired. Although the busboys were fairly diligent, the main servers just hurriedly went through the motions with nary a smile and never cared to come back and ask how the food was after it had been served. A glass of Brunello Montecino 2016 ($30) was way off and the cabernets by the glass choices were all 2020 vintage--far too young to be drunk. As with most Palm Beach restaurants, the overall wine list was tired and weak.

Sweet bread appetizer is something not on most menus. They were cooked expertly and the sauce complemented the meat. The lobster ravioli was filled with lobster and was a little bland but I enjoyed the heart shapes because it was Valentines Day. The service was excellent.

Renato's is beautiful inside & out. The pianist was very good. We've had fine dinners there before but the vibe now is they're squeezing you for every penny. On arrival a hostess barked at my wife to get past her. The service was rushed. The bolognaise, always a good test, belonged in a Sloppy Joe. Our waiter made no notice that most of our dinners were left uneaten. They have an excellent wine list at very high prices. We were finishing a last sip of wine when a strange staffer appeared like a statue at the head of our table staring at us so he could turn then table. Palm Beach is so busy I'm sure Renato's will remain packed. But we expected the food & service we had known there.
Be the first to ReplyVery bad!
Agree with other reviewers that this place has gone downhill. Have gone there many times for dinner, but recently had several issues that simply should not happen at an upscale restaurant. Brought friends for cocktails at the bar and were not treated well. Have experienced rudeness from the host staff. Booked a table outdoors and advised them we have a tiny dog - were told by the woman who answered the phone not to come, what?!? This is absolutely absurd - wish there was a wonderful restaurant in this spot!
Be the first to ReplyReally has gone downhill. Used to be great. What happened)
Renato’s really has gone downhill. We used to love this restaurant. The servings are very small and have no flavor. Cesar salad and linguine vongole and caprese pasta lacked substance & taste. On another note the management allows what appear to be ladies of the night harass the customers, then the manager claimed it’s Palm Beach that is allowing this harassment to occur. We will never go back & we were very good customers. Happy New Year’s.
Be the first to ReplyHundreds of flies in the ladies room!!
I ordered the Branzino and for an app we had the Antipasto. I liked the Antipasto and the Branzino was good however smothered in Olives and tomato sauce which covered the fish which I think had turned as within 30 minutes of eating I got sick. Sure the ambiance is European but the service was just poor (reaching over etc) ...my husband ordered a pasta dish and the Shrimp was overcooked and the veal was just not good. And than they allowed woman to walk around trying to sell their clothes and purses. How tacky!!! But the worst was going into the ladies room and seeing hundreds of flies above the toilet and all over the walls. Can only imagine the kitchen...just vile

Upscale. Classy. My wife and i came here in the afternoon when it wasn't too busy. We opted for Italian food -- a ravioli entrée and a rigatoni entrée. Delicious food. Professional service.
Be the first to ReplySplurge
Exceptional, memorable & a bit of a splurge anniversary dinner. Shared a delicious wine and started with the antipasti which was more than enough for the two of us. I enjoyed the orange duck with rice and string beans while my husband enjoyed his linguine Bolognese. Portions were very generous, we have another meal left over to bring home. We shared the opera cake for dessert. Our dinner was very delicious! Service was impeccable, the wine book was pages of extensive International wines $50 to tens of thousands. The restaurant is romantic & elegant. If it wasn’t 90° we would’ve enjoyed the garden with the bougainvilleas & fountains. My only issue was the tables are very close together. We sat between a family of 5 and group of 6 seniors that all spoke very loudly, It often felt like we were a part of their table. My back was to the door to the patio and there was a lot of traffic in and out behind me.
