A great experience that needs to be repeated.
A warm welcome in a very beautiful and simple restaurant. The service and the sommelier are very friendly and give great recommendations. The dishes are very well thought out, regional and perfectly prepared. The wine pairing went well with every course and there was also a beer that went really well with it! I can only recommend this restaurant and would go again and again. I won't name any names but it's better than others in town with more stars. See for yourself. I'll be back.

Back in Colmar at the Girardin restaurant after more than a year. Everyone did a great job again. The current menu, which reflects the region, as the titles of the individual courses already reveal (Presskopf; Champignons; Pomme de terre; Truite; Veau; Munster "gonflé; Chocolat or Pommes), is pure culinary pleasure. We really appreciated being looked after so skillfully by the service staff. Unfortunately, the evening on November 15, 2023 was somewhat marred by a group of 10 people who did not know how to behave and were sometimes so loud that it was no longer possible to have a conversation. The people from the land of the Wild West apparently confused this upscale restaurant with a Western saloon. Of course, that somewhat dampened our enjoyment.

If you are served so much good food, then you have come to this beautiful restaurant in the Hotel des Tetes. The chef comes to your table personally and discusses the menu. Changes are no problem. The foam from the Munster cheese is a dream. We will definitely be back.

Highly recommended Michelin star restaurant. We had the extensive tasting menu with a truly fantastic taste experience. The formula with adapted wines is also recommended. The sommelier has made a good selection for each dish. We also enjoyed the chef who visits personally, the option offered to change some ingredients, the stylish yet smooth, sympathetic and personal service by the multilingual room staff. The restaurant is worthy of its Michelin star.

We ate here last night after reading recommendations on Trip Adviser. There are 2 parts, a gastronomic restaurant with a Michelin star and an impressive looking tasting menu and a brasserie section with a more simple selection. We opted for the brasserie as we didn’t want a heavy meal (love French food but it can get a bit too much!). The setting itself was lovely - you are seated outside in a courtyard garden but the food itself was at best ordinary. We had 2 ‘tapas’ style starters of pâté (this was the tastiest dish of the entire meal) and humus. My main of ‘pêche du jour’ with risotto was bland, stodgy and without flavour. I left it uneaten. My partners fish fish came with the same verdict. Wouldn’t eat here again. There are lots of great eateries in Colmar and this isn’t one of them.

An extraordinary experience for us , a foodie loving couple with our 15y old son. The atmosphere, service, food and wine menus were stunning . Flexible approach from the kitchen in exchanging a dish in the 7 course world menu. Nice to meet Monsieur Girardin himself before and after dinner. Highlights were the variation where we also were challenged on new tasts which we highly appreciated. We had a half wine menu which were perfect for us ( and the son having a quarter) Price 700 Euros which we found acceptable given the high level. We would be happy to return..

Although the decor is relatively simple and minimalist, the incredible quality of the presentation of the food as well as the creative combination of flavors, colors, and textures made this an incredibly enjoyable meal. We had a group of 8 and were able to sit at a round table so that we could all easily converse. The tasting menu was preceded by many amuse bouche treats and followed by the same. The whole meal took 5 hours yet time flew by. Besides the amazing quality of the dishes (many of which highlighted fresh flavorful local produce), the wine list is outstanding and the sommelier highly knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Munster Cheese Mousse Cheese emulsion with Marc de Gewurztraminer / Grape / Cumin. Pear Conference pear / vanilla / juniper with Modertal Gin. Hazelnut Chocolate / hazelnut / smoked milk. Small sweet and biscuit at the end of the menu

Absolutely amazing! Each dish cam beautifully plated and was delicious. Loved each course! My wife is vegetarian and she loved her entire set menu too. A must try when in Colmar!

We already went to this restaurant back in 202, but this time the whole family joined and it was absolutely incredible. The chef personally takes your order for the 7 course meal (there is only one option but the chef adapts the recipe depending to your desires; i didnt want meat so he switched that out for a vegetarian option) and are the dishes beautiful! Next to the dishes, you’ll get more than enough amuse bouches that you definitely wont be hungry anymore ( and the next day too ;) ) the wine card is incredible with over 1000 wines to chose from. The house bubbly (crémant) is also a good recommendation. We really enjoyed our time in this restaurant. It is much more than a normal dinner ; it really is an unique experience. Can’t recommend it enough

we have do a dinner/menu with our good friends. The revieuws before make me very interested in this restaurant. we have order the menu with 7 dishes and 3 amuses. The amuses were very delicious, but only 3 dishes from the 7 were ok and delicious. the other 4 dishes was soso and not what we expected. It could be maybe the taste, but we together had the same opinion.
the serving was ok and also what we expected in a Michelin star restaurant.
