A few hours in paradise
Another exceptional lunch The brigade combines excellence in welcome and service, and always with a simplicity that is true class, and real kindness. The Centenary menu was sublime, smells, flavors, presentation… breathtaking A real evolution in the lightness of dishes without renouncing the fundamentals Ah, these frogs with watercress and smoked carp This perfectly pan-fried foie gras, this perfectly cooked turbot, this great classic poultry of the house but with revisited and lightened vegetables... And always the cart of perfectly matured cheeses, the generous cart of desserts, each one more beautiful than the other… And the food and wine pairing with great discoveries, like this trilogy of Porto on cheese, this Sherry on foie gras In short, 4 hours in paradise Looking forward to the Bicentenary 🤣 THANKS

I last went to Paul Bocuse 15 years ago. It was excellent and I actually met Paul Bocuse and his wife. I figured that I could cross it off my bucket list, at least until I watched Tony Bourdain and saw the chicken poached in a pig's bladder. I had to go back. So, while planning a European trip for me and my wife, I inserted a stop in Lyon just so we could go to Paul Bocuse. We did, and it was still great. The chicken was terrific, but the other dishes on the fixed price menu were even better. It was a perfect meal, although crazy expensive. Still, it is something you should do at least once in your life. The service was spectacular. The fixed price menu took 3 1/2 hours, but time flew by quickly. I'll probably be back, and will not wait another 15 years.

An unforgettable moment with a caring team and impeccable “Centennial Menu” cuisine. We had a great time as a family! A very nice address where we will return to taste other emblematic dishes from Monsieur Paul’s cuisine! Congratulations to the whole team, we understand better why you obtained the title of “Best Brigade in France” for the year 2024! Once again, our congratulations and thank you for this beautiful moment full of attention and delicacy.

An unforgettable experience We came for this Sunday March 24, 2024 to celebrate my son's 28th birthday. We had the centenary menu, which was simply extraordinary. Impeccable quality Exemplary service Flavors full of the palate Sumptuous tastes The staff will take care of you from your arrival until the time of departure 1 very small problem (a ridge in my son's turbo) But who is completely excused because the error is human, and the waiter apologized; I was even uncomfortable because I had said that to him jokingly. I didn't want to hurt or offend anyone. In any case this does not change my opinion on this service which was Simply MAGICAL, from start to finish. I recommend this centenary menu a thousand times. That's all said, I will come back for the winter menu because I did not have the chance to taste the VGE soup. I THANK THE WHOLE TEAM.

Restaurant that lives on its past, excellent chicken, ham and chocolate dessert, for the rest, classic…. To note, overcooked turbot, lobster with caviar without surprise, classic bread, champagne too green. In addition, restaurant opening at 7:45 p.m., if you arrive before, you wait outside, no reception room….and surprise payment by credit card, like at Carrefour, asks you to validate a tip… The 2 stars are a legacy, used to stars, disappointed.

We are fans of French gastronomy and are delighted with the dishes served to us by the famous maître d'hôtel. Deserves to get its third star I recommend PB

On the occasion of my birthday on the 14th, we treated ourselves to the centenary menu at Mr. Paul BOCUSE. My partner and I wanted to have lunch in a great restaurant once in our lives. From the reception to the end everything was absolutely perfect. What flavors, food and wine pairings, perfection, dishes, an incomparable treat. and the little touches, menus autographed by the chef and the barrel organ with a candle for this occasion. All your teams are to cooking and gastronomy what Michelangelo was to painting. Well done to everyone and thank you for these unique and unforgettable moments.

A wonderful culinary journey. We had an exceptional time at M. Paul's for the centenary of this beautiful house of gastronomy. Everything was excellent, taste, generosity, excellence punctuated this trip. We took two century-old formulas with the wines 🍷 Special mention for our server Francesco and the very young sommelier Maxime who knew how to take us with him to the land of Baccus. Bravo & Thank you.

Another wonderful evening spent at the inn, Paul Bocuse Collonges We opted for the century-old menu, a pure marvel of tradition mixed with the innovation of the pastry chefs. (special mention for the black truffle soup which was perfect and seasonal.) A very beautiful wine list which has evolved well towards the new winegrowers who respect organic and terroir!! In short, everything was perfect, the service, the quality of the wines, and the quality of the wines. We had an incredible evening and can't wait to come back again! See you soon

To do once in your life! We took the Centenary Menu which allows you to taste the famous Elysée black truffle soup and whole poultry in bladders! Monsieur Paul's specialties! Adorable welcome, classy and absolutely faultless service, the staff are charming, without being obsequious. The setting is warm and what can we say about the cuisine? Everything is thought out, refined, copious but not heavy. From the high flying of appetizers to chocolates with coffee!!!! Well done, well done!!!!!

I'm a senior with a serious digestive issue. As such what I eat, how it is prepared etc is very important both to my health and enjoyment. We decided to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary here. We had visited on 2 prior occasions and the experience and food were remarkable. We wanted to try some different dishes and asked that the 4 dishes we ordered be split and served in order. They absolutely refused--the kitchen wouldn't split dishes because it would affect their presentation and they were worried about a negative instagram post. To make matters worse, they refused to bring the dishes out in order. 2 at a time they insisted. If we wanted to sample all 4 dishes we should "trade" plates. What a joke and an embarrassment. This is not anyone's idea of fine dining. The food was nothing special and the portions were small for the price All in all, this was the worst fine dining experience we have ever had. I wrote to the restaurant after we returned because I couldn't believe in the total lack of hospitality and indifference toward customers whose needs are different. Rather than apologize they justified their conduct based on their fear of negative social media posts Just terrible
Be the first to ReplyQuite simply the best dining experience of my life!
My wife and here are so fortunate to have dined here in July. It is an amazing restaurant. The service is second to none. The setting is beautiful and filled with class. And the food, wow! We went for it and did the Paul Bocuse menu which was a seven course dinner. The chicken is a once in a lifetime dish. The sole is incomparable, the lobster amazing, and the cheese experience is to die for. Everything was first class. I cannot imagine a better place. Anywhere! It was my wife's birthday and they made a big deal of it at the end. Capping off a night we will never forget!

We enjoyed an outstanding meal at Restaurant Paul Bocuse. The food was delicious, the waitstaff were attentive and efficient, and the restaurant lead and chef also took time to greet everyone and ensure we were enjoying ourselves. I have never had an experience like this and don't think I will for some time to come. I hope to return and would unconditionally recommend a meal here.
