It's fantastic. Also a good cocktail menu. Desserts are quite good also.I was here with a bunch of others a while ago on a cold winter day. The service was pleasant and the food overall was good though I would say that there are certain dishes that are definitely more worth it for the price. Note that the pizzas are Neapolitan Style which means they are a little bit less filling then your usual slice. As we wanted various things, a good amount of the menu was tried from appetizers to entrees to a good mix of desserts. A special note goes to their very nice cocktail selection. As someone who is a big fan of amaro as well as other Italian aperitifs and digestives, they have a very nice selection. While I cannot remember the exact name of the cocktail I had outside of it being a pun on it including figs, it was a wonderful cocktail in case you want something on the bitter end with a sweet aftertaste.I personally started with: Brussels Sprouts- Pancetta, Pecorino Romano DOP, and Parsley ($14) There was a good portion for the price though the pancetta pieces were a little bit too thin so it didn't really add much to the texture and I think that there wasn't enough either but the cheese was pleasant. Maybe they should offer a version without pancetta for 10 or something?Other people had the octopus (Polpo Alla Luciana) which I didn't try of course, a salad (Rughetta I believe) which was fine and another person had the eggplant. I was surprised how small this dish was compared to mine but the but I tried was good but I definitely wouldn't recommend it especially at 18$. I believe the person also had the meatballs but I'm not sure and I definitely don't remember trying anything else. In terms of main dishes, another person and I basically split two pizzas (Borbone/Nobile) and others had a variety of things.Borbone- Imported Fior di Latte, Eggplant, Hot Salame, Ricotta ($21) This was very tasty with a good red sauce. The eggplant had a good texture and there was plenty of salame/salami on each of the different pieces. I guess my only complaint is that the pizza was perhaps a bit wet from the various ingredients.Nobile- Imported Fior di Latte, Gorgonzola, Truffle Sauce, Shaved Black Truffle ($26)This was also good though as usual, I prefer red pizzas over white. The gorgonzola added a sharpness and it paired well with the truffle sauce. I was pleasantly surprised that the combination didn't overwhelm the pizza and overall it was good also though I'm not sure if it was worth it for the price.Mafaldine al Ragu Napoletano- Slow Cooked Tomato Ragu With Pork and Beef ($26 or $30 with ricotta.)Another person had this and I wish I got it. As a fan of ragu from a variety of places, this was a very good version. Perhaps the meat was cooked almost a little bit too much as there wasn't much texture but the pasta was cooked perfectly al dente. If I was to go back here, I will get said pasta and a cocktail and maybe dessert and be a very happy person.Straccetti Di Manzo- Sauteed Veal Stripes Served with Arugula and Aged Balsamic Vinegar ($28) This was perfectly fine also. Pretty big portion of veal though I would say this was probably one of the lightest tasting veal dishes I have ever had from an Italian spot. Perfectly fine but not worth it for the price. After dinner basically everyone had dessert outside of one person who had the very humorous named cocktail "Pineapples on Pizza." I believe all these deserts were $10 outside of maybe the gelato being cheaper. The following were ordered:Cassata: In this case it resembles photos of Cassatella di Sant'Agata specifically. Cassata is a sponge cake made with marzipan. This was a pleasant version outside of being a little bit too sweet. I prefer a stronger almond flavor in cassata/marzipan but it was fine.Frutti di Bosco: Pastry with strawberries and fresh fruits this was the biggest portion of any dessert here and the style was different but I really don't have a complaint for either. If you're looking for a refreshing tasty dessert, order this. Quite good.Tiramisu: I can see why a lot of people order this. Excellent tiramisu. No real complaints.Marscapone with strawberries: Did not try this but they liked it.Chocolate gelato: Did not try this but they liked it.
