Came here with my wife for lunch.
The food was excellent food, the view was amazing and the service was beyond phenomenal.
Be the first to ReplyGreat location on a pier above the water on the Marina
Great location on a pier above the water on the Marina Grande of Sorrrento. Nice evening views of the Sorrento cliffs. Service was iffy and hard to get the waiters attention at times as it seems to be a popular spot for local families and big tables. Our cocktails showed up after our apps, by a while, but the food overall was delicious and portions were generous

Amazing food, amazing view, amazing service! We loved our dinner at Bagni Sant'Anna. Giuseppe was our wonderful waiter and the whole staff was so kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Our meal here was the most enjoyable meal I have ever had and that includes Paris. We had the cod appetizer, pasta and lobster..and Ravioli. The host, owner, servers.. all a delight! If I could have only one dessert the rest of my life it would be this lemon delight!

Sitting on a pier atop the water in Sorrento's old port it calls like a siren, "come...enjoy...". Whichever way you face, towards shore or out to sea, the setting and views are breath-droppingly gorgeous. I didn't even try to resist. The wildly popular, less eye-popping restaurants line the shore here and from your water-top vantage point at Bangni Sant'Anna you'll gaze back at them. More frequently though, you'll gaze towards the sea, the sunset, the boats, and the other diners who are blessed enough to be here experiencing this. The setting is jaw-droppingly beautiful. The food on shore and the price points of that food are probably more in my wheelhouse. The menu here reads a bit fancy with prices to match. I cobbled together a very good dinner (fresh fish @ 28 euro, fresh ravioli @ 18 euro) with wine and, though I took photos and know it was good what stays in mind long after the meal is not the meal but the setting. They're a good match, and Bagni Sant'Anna serves very good fare but I eat three times each day (minimum) and a setting like this is once in a lifetime. They might bring blankets out for you to wrap yourself in once the sun goes down. In case your table gets none though, make sure to bring something to wrap yourself up in. You are, after all, on the water here and long after sunset you might still want to linger, in comfort.

Relaxing! Food, from jumbo shrimp appetizers, first course Ravioli, and second course swordfish, And the catch of the day grouper. Lemon cello spritzers, to Sauvignon wine choice every thing was delicious
Be the first to ReplyAmazing water front restaurant in the heart of Sorrento-
Amazing water front restaurant in the heart of Sorrento- don't know about these other reviews but our food and service were amazing! It was recommended by our private guide and i would have returned for dinner if we hadn't had to get on a ship. I had the perfectly cooked and hand made fusilli with Bolognese, my husband and driver had the Octopus- also scrumptious. Including a pic of the receipt so that the unpronounceable and real labels can be seen. Our driver also treated us to a lemoncello at the end of our meal. Best meal we've had so far!

Amazing seafood, located right in the middle of Mariana Grande can't go wrong with choosing this restaurant !
Be the first to ReplyFood was above average.
A little to touristy for us. We prefer the hidden gems. You go here for the views. It is located in Marina Grande on a pier over the water. Very beautiful
Be the first to ReplyIf you are looking for solely ambiance then this restaurant
If you are looking for solely ambiance then this restaurant is it. However, the food for this restaurant and customer service were sub par. I have eaten at several places along the Marina and this was by far my least favorite. The food was not flavored very well either. I ordered the Mixed seafood linguini and another member of my party ordered the lobster linguini and we were both highly disappointed. My lobster was extremely undercooked and my linguini did not have any Flavor. The mixed seafood linguini was the exact same way. I would not recommend this restaurant. I would try the more "mom and pop" restaurants as they food is more flavorful and the customer service is much better!
Be the first to ReplyWe picked this restaurant based on the recommendation of
We picked this restaurant based on the recommendation of our travel group. It received multiple great reviews from previous waves of our trip. Our table of four had great wine 9the Pinot Grigio by the glass on the wine list. We ordered the eggplant parmigiana and the calamari frito to come out first. We all enjoyed every last drop and crumble. They served the calamari with fresh cut local lemon in great abundance. My son ordered the sea bass and it was gone in record time. My daughter ordered the homage pasta bolognese. I helped her Finnish her last few bites it was out of this world great and al dented to perfection. My wife's gnocchi was covered in the most simple tomato sauce with the perfect melted local fresh mozzarella and flash fried basil. It had the mixed grill with two types of local fish a lite whitefish and a heavier possibly monkfish fresh out of the sea accompanied by shrimp, lobster, octopus, and the most tender grilled calamari you could imagine. They finished off the meal with a limoncello apéritif for each member of our party. The setting is right on the water with amazing city and hillside views combined with the sunset right off the dockside tables. There was a large group celebrating our one wide of the seating area having a blast with the most amazing dishes pouring out of the kitchen. This place is fun, with a spectacular view. Try it out. I think a few of the negative reviews might reflect a lack of cultural understanding. Our service was exactly what we expected. Heck, they mostly spoke English, like most of the people in town. I scrape by with my limited Spanish trying to morph it into Italian. I have picked up some infantile attempts to try the language and it seems to go a long way to prove we respect the culture and the fact we are in their pond not ours. Thanks for the great meal.
Be the first to ReplyRight in Marina Grande this restaurant is stunning- right
Right in Marina Grande this restaurant is stunning- right on a dock in the water with hanging lights. We ended up paying €40 per person for a pasta dish each and 3 bottles of wine (they also brought us free limoncello shots and a free extra bottle of wine). One person ordered the sea bass and loved it. The pasta dishes were also good, the gnocchi sorrentino was a little too heavy on the cheese but the seafood spaghetti and lobster spaghetti were delicious.

The views from this restaurant were beautiful! We sat on the pier and watched the sunset. Absolute gorgeous view for dinner. The food was a little overpriced in my opinion. Everything was very good but we ate at some other places nearby and they were not quite as expensive. But if you're looking for a place with a great view, this is your spot.
Be the first to ReplyThis restaurant was one of my favorite places to eat in
This restaurant was one of my favorite places to eat in Sorrento. We tried several restaurants in Rome when we were in that area with good Yelp reviews that were no good and service was horrendous. I am starting to think can't always go by Yelp reviews. We actually got this restaurant confused with Bagni Delfino that was recommended by hotel and glad we mixed up restaurants because other wise would have not tried this hidden gem. I am really surprised reading the negative reviews on Yelp for this restaurant. The food and service were exceptional. We got complimentary scallops to try and don't eat seafood and I loved it. We went to the Bagni Delfino restaurant the following day and this restaurant we thought was far better.

This restaurant was recommended to us by one of the locals, so I had high hopes. The restaurant is cute, located off of a dock (beautiful at night) by Marina Grande, so it was a unique experience I haven't had before. Unfortunately, the food was sub-par. I ordered the steak- nothing special. I actually found myself drenching the meat in Bearnaise sauce to make it tastier. My spouse ordered the basket of fried fish- anything from squid to shrimp to anchovies. He wasn't thrilled with neither the taste nor the fact he had to pick bones out of a lot of the fish (difficult to do when the entire piece of fish is deep fried). Very disappointing.
