This is a cozy local Florentine restaurant that we enjoyed on our final night in Florence. We arrived for a late meal without a reservation and we were welcomed and seated without hesitation and warmly. The restaurant's ambiance is not impressive but the hospitality and food were! Our server was kind and humorous and made sure we all enjoyed our meals. The food was top notch and authentic. We were all very pleased.

We stumbled upon this small restaurant as we were walking back to our AirBNB. This is not only a restaurant, but a warm, friendly, gastronomical experience! The owners are on sight making sure everyone is happy and all questions are answered. The service was impeccable with kind and knowledgable waiters. I liked that when we asked for wine suggestions that they did not start with the most expensive wine. One other thing I liked was little "surprises" of small appetizer bites they brought out while awaiting our meal. The owners were kind and family oriented with great senses of humor. It was my husband's 70th birthday and they turned off all the lights and lit a candle on top of tiramisu and everyone in the restaurant sang to him. We've been in Florence 6 days and have already been there twice! Do not miss this fun and loving place.

We saved the best meal for our last night in Florence.
Everything was amazing...from the wild boar, to the John Travolta Pasta, to the chocolate chocolate cake! And the service....superb! Caio Florence. We will be back, and when we are our first stop will be Il Profeta!

My boyfriend and I visited il profeta while staying in Firenze and the service was incredible. The owner and staff were so amazing and friendly. The ambience is very authentic Italian and the restaurant is family owned. Where do I even begin with their food? Make sure you come hungry. They do it right. The plates of food kept coming and were absolutely delicious. They even surprised my boyfriend with dessert and limoncello and sang to him since we mentioned it was his birthday when we walked in. We are already planning our next Florence trip and will most definitely be back! Thank you again il profeta. We loved our experience with you!

* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Ristorante Il Profeta Firenze to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Ristorante Il Profeta Firenze!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
