Surprisingly, very good would definitely stop by again
My expectations werenโt very high since Iโve never stayed at any of these hotels before however, this hotel thereโs nothing wrong with the room I had I was in room 126. The bathroom was a big surprise. It was very clean all the fixtures look like they were brand new the bed was comfortable not too keen on the heating and air-conditioning but hey, itโs an older hotel. My only issue is I wish that the lights in the parking lot came on when people walked around out there. It was pretty dark out there when I woke up about 5 AM other than that I got no issues at all. Yeah, the hallway carpet had a funny smell. It wasnโt horrible, but it just smelled a little off but they could fix that Easily The room is just what I expect is a refrigerator. Thereโs a microwave and like I said, I got a king size bed. Definitely worth stopping again for a good nights sleep.
Be the first to ReplySuper good accommodations at a very decent price.
Very clean room with microwave, refrigerator and coffee machine. King sized bed was very comfortable. I asked for additional pillows. No problem. Sunny, the manager is super friendly and even remembered me staying overnight last Fall. Definitely would recommend, especially for a price that is well below what other places in the area charge.

The rooms are awful. If I had a choice I would have gone elsewhere. It smelled awful! The furniture has visible stains that were so gross I didnโt sit. The lamps looked like someone puked on them. The only clean spot was the bathroom. I went out and bought a candle to mask the smell and sheets because I wasnโt sure about how clean they really were considering the state of the rest of the room. I asked for a partial refund or a new room but the would not accommodate me.
Be the first to ReplyVery pleasant and inexpensive
Was as expected but also some pluses. Typical low budget roadside motel. Staff incredibly pleasant. Room was clean, had a fridge and micro. AC a bit loud but I don't mind the white noise. Towels could have been a bit thicker, and bathroom sink could be a bit bigger. No breakfast (but they tell you that on the site). Good option for a night passing through.
Be the first to ReplyGreat rate, clean and comfortable
I stayed here with a large group of ladies, we had 3 rooms, great price, comfortable, clean and great location. The rooms are large and the fridge is a great size, much bigger than the usual hotel fridge. Very friendly front desk. We will definitely return when back in the area.
Be the first to ReplyNot worth the money
Old outdated place. Shower was dated old broken tiles, there was a broken deadlock on the door, glue marks all over the walls, alarm went off at 5 am and we never set it. Would not stay there again for the money we paid ; it was not a good experience.
Be the first to ReplyDated decor but we would definitely return
The highlights are an amazing front desk and cleaning staff, quiet location less than 2 miles from downtown and very comfortable beds. After leaving a subpar property, I asked about the beds and asked to see a sleeping room. They were very accommodating and showed the room from the open door due to COVID-19. We have been here 3 nights and had to extend for an additional night. They made it very easy for us and even though housekeeping isn't automatic during this time, they offered more than once to clean while we were out. Since we were a walk-in, they took $30 off the nightly rate shown on the Choice website and charged only $90;nt. The lowlights are the property is very dated. The decor is equally dated. There is no breakfast at this time and coffee service doesn't begin until 8am. There are no in-room coffee makers, but we always travel with a Keurig anyway. They very kindly opened the lobby door before 8am to allow me to grab some sugar. This is one of 3 hotels that I'm aware of in the area as many are BnBs and lodge type properties. My husband is a barn painter and this was a great choice for him and the work crew!

When we travel, I book some accommodations ahead of time and then leave some nights open just so we have more flexibility when we're moving around. That means we are looking for something fairly cheap the day before or the day of as we travel. My daughter found this online, searching by location and price. It was easy to find and get to. The price was surprisingly good and the hotel was clean - almost every time we came or went from our room, we saw someone doing housekeeping. It was quiet, the room was nice and bigger than I expected. Everything worked fine and we felt safe and comfortable.
Be the first to ReplyPristine Place Rm 148
We stayed here on our way to Leesburg Virginia and I have to say it's one of the cleanest hotels we've been at staff was very friendly very fast checking in and it's highly recommended. Even although we didn't stay here for breakfast we went down the road to the plaza where there was a diner and had breakfast there and that was just as good so we highly recommend this place everything was perfect.

To start off when we entered the lobby to check in there was a terrible septic smell. This smell was gone in the morning when we went to breakfast. Our room was cleanish. The tub drain was clogged so when we took a shower we were standing in 2 inches of water. The tiles on the shower were cracked. The bed was lumpy. We didn't sleep well at all. The breakfast was OK. The selection was more limited than at other hotels that offer free breakfast. There was not pitcher of water available. The hot water for tea comes out of a coffee machine. I had to fill 2 cups with water before it was clear. Paid way too much for his supposedly budget poor quality hotel.
Be the first to ReplyI wouldnโt stay there again
The room was clean, no problem with housekeeping. The mattress was hard as a rock. The bath tub didnโt drain. We stayed there because of the price. Free breakfast in a hotel is very convenient. The breakfast in this Rodeway was non existent, they should be embarrassed about it. We had to spend extra time and money and go else where. And I only wanted a bagel. No bagels for three days straight. If you need to stay in New Paltz donโt stay here.
Be the first to ReplyStayed in Room 127--good bargain!
We stayed in room 127--it was clean and very conveniently located to the parking lot. Amazing stay for the price. Highly recommended. We had absolutely no cleanliness issues with the facility. Shower head was a bit difficult to operate and a bit more counter space in the bathroom would be nice, but for $71 (priceline) absolutely no complaints.
Be the first to ReplyNice hotel
nice rooms with TV, microwave and refrigerator. Everything is included in the room. Free breakfast will be provided in the morning. I think itโs the best hotel in New Paltz. Itโs cheaper than the other hotels and the rooms are very clean.
Be the first to ReplyDon't believe everything you read...But you can believe this
Walked in and had to wait for the lobby attendant, he was busy talking on his cell phone. After getting my room key, drove to the back like he said and walked in and the room was not bad at all actually, especially if you are only spending one night. The rug looked like it had not been vacuumed, let alone cleaned. Walked around the room with my shoes on for most of the time and then with my socks. Bathroom was okay, sink had some yellow staining around the edges but other than that it was alright. Towels looked clean but it had that heavy Clorox smell to it. Rooms were very quiet and the location of the hotel was pretty nice, easy on, easy off the main road. Not far away from all these restaurants and y'all need to read the reviews on some of the places. I had a pizza and it was screaming (wrote a review while eating the pizza in my room and watching the NY Islanders sweep the Penguins). This place claims it does a breakfast...โฆ.like I said in the title don't believe it. They had pieces of bread, coffee, and a those mini pound cakes that looked like it was baked back in 1947. And not even enough to spread out in the case to make it look full. It looked like they went to the nearby gas station mini mart and just bought the bargain priced expired products. Went to the McDonalds down the road instead. If you are able to spend the night elsewhere, do so, don't waste your time or money.
