The braised beef was absolutely the best I've had and my wife enjoyed her gnocchi very much! Great atmosphere with a view of the fountains and the service was great! We will definitely be back!
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Scarpetta before now!
I can't believe I haven't reviewed Scarpetta before now! This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas! I come here every time I'm in Las Vegas, I have introduced numerous people to this restaurant, and It consistently continues to impress me! Of course, I love their classic dish, spaghetti with tomato and basil. That continues to be the gold standard and I love it. But we branched out and got other pastas this time, and were absolutely impressed. We got some kind of pasta with short ribs in it, and it was so marvelous it might be a new contender for my favorite dish! As always, the breadbasket is also lovely. Having dinner here is such a treat!
Food was actually awesome but we ordered some appetizers
Food was actually awesome but we ordered some appetizers from our waiter Marco and never got them. He was very unapologetic and said he didn't hear us.
Exceeds Expectations
We had not dined at Scarpetta for several years and decided that it was time to go back. It did not disappoint! The ambiance is contemporary, the service is very attentive, and the food is outstanding. We tried several of the pasta dishes and all were fantastic and well prepared. Cocktails pours were generous as were the wine pours. This is a great restaurant if you want elegant Italian fare.
Scarpetta is one of the collection of excellent dining
Scarpetta is one of the collection of excellent dining establishments at the Cosmopolitan. It has a gorgeous dining room with many tables offering a great view of the Bellagio Fountains. The ambiance is hard to top. The complimentary bread was very good! The service throughout the entire meal was very good and professional. My wife had the pumpkin soup, which she loved! I ordered the Calamari which came in a bowl and was quite an ample serving, definitely for two people, not just one. The Calamari was possibly the best I've ever eaten. It seemed quite fresh, not like the frozen stuff some places serve. (it also reheated in the oven tremendously!) Our entrees were the Day Boat Scallops and the Tagliolini Agli Scampi. There were only 4 scallops, but they were prepared nicely and very delicious. The Scampi was a nice portion. We really enjoyed it! We have been going to this wonderful restaurant for many years. The food has always been fine, but getting a reservation has not always been the easiest!
Delicious luscious dinner with a view!
Friendly wonderful hostess Nancy 1 ... seated us in private dining room for a memorable delicious dinner of hand made pasta, yummy sauces and spectacular desserts all with a view into the kitchen and Bellagio foundation.

WOW. We came here for the first time at the end of May, and we just made our second visit this week! We were extremely impressed the first time around, and we were so happy that our second experience was equally as fabulous. SERVICE: Extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. My husband and I visited with our 8 year old son, and both times our waiter went out of their way to educate him on a little bit of Italian, and commend him on how well he was behaving. FOOD: Probably one of the best meals that we've ever had in Vegas, and we usually visit 1-3 times a year for the last 14 years. The Raviolo appetizer is AMAZING. The oysters are fresh and tasty. I opted for the Tagliolini Agli Scampi both times, and it was impressive. My husband has had both the Agnolotti and the Cavatelli, and he loved them. My son had the Spaghetti once with the tomato sauce, and once with butter, and he enjoyed both :) AMBIANCE: Absolutely exceptional. The music, with the decor, and the view of the Bellagio Fountains is truly very enjoyable. Thank you, Scarpetta for another great visit! We will absolutely be back again and again!
Food, ambiance and service were outstanding.
From the moment we were greeted by the hostess to the service at our table, everything was perfect. We started off with the pumpkin soup with king crab and a Caesar salad. The soup was delicious and so was the crab. My husband enjoyed his salad. For dinner we ordered the Ahi Tuna Carpaccio, Beef Tartare and Short Rib Agnolotti. Every bite of everything was delicious. Let's talk about the bread basket.. not a fan of bread, but this one is off the charts. Roasted tomatoes and cheese on bread, spinach and cheese rolled bread, along with sourdough and a meat and cheese rolled bread. All served warm with a side of mascarpone, marinated eggplant and a citrus oil. The restaurant is beautiful. Spacious seating with some tables overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. As for service, our server Rod was fantastic! Friendly, let us know about the dishes and made sure everything was perfect. I'm not a fan of getting caught up in the traffic of the Strip to go to dinner, but Scarpetta is worth it. Looking forward to returning soon!
If you can't get into Carbone....
Top tier Italian restaurant. The San Remo is in my top five of Vegas cocktails. Terrific menu, portions are easily shareable and the free assorted bread basket is appreciated when other Vegas restaurants are starting to charge for. Nice quiet atmosphere with a view of the Bellagio lake.
Italian Fine Dining suited for special occasions.
Gorgeous decor and ideal location with direct views of Bellagio Fountains. The starters and mains (Primi and Piatti) excellent, especially the Oysters, Beef Carpaccio, Risotto and Branzino. Consider getting dessert elsewhere. Our friend worked with the restaurant to book our group reservation for a private dining room overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. They created a custom menu to minimize our need to think and choose during our event. Everything but the drinks were paid ahead of time. As soon as we arrived, service was excellent. Here's what we ordered: Starters: OYSTER ON THE HALF SHELL - (5/5) tangerine mignonette, apple, serrano pepper. Oysters were the small ones from North Carolina. Extras briny and marinaded in a nice vinaigrette. BEEF CARPACCIO - (5/5) lemoncello, celery, arugula salad, crispy capers, parmigiana. Excellent dish! CAPRESE - (4/5) bufala mozzarella, heirloom tomatoes, oregano, basil. High quality ingredients, but I didn't rave about this dish. CHOPPED CAESAR SALAD (3/5) marinated white anchovies, parmesan croutons. Basic Main Dishes: RISOTTO (5/5) seasonal vegetable, parmigiano. Excellent! Tasted much like my fav restaurants in Venice. BRANZINO (4/5) rainbow chard, toasted pine nuts, sun raisins, citrus tomato sauce, basil. My Italian hubby raved about this dish. I thought it was just okay. PRIME FILET OF BEEF (3/5) sautรฉed spinach, barolo. Good, but not their specialty. Desserts: MASCARPONE CHEESECAKE (3/5) served with a tangy sorbet AMEDEI CHOCOLATE CAKE (2/5) amaretto gelato & salted caramel sauce
Had a great experience here for dinner during restaurant
Had a great experience here for dinner during restaurant week. Bread service was fantastic. Parents loved the calamari. Had the 3 course restaurant week spaghetti, agnolotti, and tiramisu. All 3 courses were delicious! Excellent service great view and very beautiful restaurant. Will be back!

Amazing service, and fabulous food! I def recommend if you love Italian my boyfriend is an Italian lover and LOVED it!!!! Not to mention he is from NY and low key a "food critic" lol he loved it!
Food amazing: tried the braised short ribs pasta
Food amazing: tried the braised short ribs pasta amaaaaaaazing it's a flavor bomb. The pasta with shrimps is soo good even the spaghetti pomodoro is perfection. Service : top notch Ambiance: amazing window seating overlooking the fountain
Left hungry and sad
I left hungry. We went for our aniversity dinner and it was bland. The spaghetti that everyone raves about had no flavor to it. I understand that everything is freshly made there and I am not saying that it was bad tasting. There just was no taste to it. We also had the lamb. It was cooked great but again no flavor. The potatoes were under cooked and raw. But Casey why didn't you tell the waiter? That was because he only asked how everything was once and just asked my husband not me. The only saving grace was the lemon cheesecake. Our bill was $300 and I left disappointed and hungry.
Good not excellent choice
We were celebrating our anniversary and we were so excited. We got a fountains table but there were not any shows due to the wind advisory. Disappointing but canโt be helped. Our server was amazing and very attentive. We did feel somewhat rushed. All our dishes came out quickly. The food was very good but not excellent. The bread service is very tasty. We unfortunately would not recommend. Many choices in Vegas.
Overrated
I ordered a nightly special - osso buco- and my spouse the branzino stuffed with chard. The osso buco was tough and lacked a lot of flavor, and came with mashed potatoes rather than the traditional polenta or couscous. The branzino was good, with a superb presentation, but the chard stuffing was poor - too many different flavors (and nothing like fresh chard which she was hoping for). We came here well before our show, and wanted to take our time with dinner and let the waiters know to space out the courses. The salad came within a minute of ordering, at which time we alerted the waiter and helper again of our desire to take our time. We barely finished the salad when the entrees showed up! The wine list was good, but pricing was a bit higher than necessary (generally 3+ times retail pricing). Not as many wines by the glass as we might have hoped for. Ambiance and the servers were very nice.
It was a disappointment, I wouldn't recommend it; there are better options at The Cosmopolitan.
Frankly, it was a disappointment; the place is fine with an excellent view of the Bellagio fountains, but the space to move around is limited and uncomfortable due to columns in the way and the arrangement of tables. The decor is nothing special but not bad either. The food was quite mediocre, and it was unpleasant that the waiter gave the impression of disapproval when we didn't order alcoholic drinks, which bothered us from the moment we sat down. One of the few restaurants at The Cosmopolitan that we hadn't tried yet, and I wouldn't recommend it; there are better options.
Simply amazing
Simply amazing. Best meal and service weโve had maybe ever but definitely best here in Vegas. It is pricey but if youโre looking for a luxury experience then I highly recommend. Squid ink pasta was to die for and the cocktails were fresh and beautiful. We will be back any time we come to Vegas

My friends had their wedding dinner with everyone here and the food was AMAZING. The wedding menu that had been selected was the polenta, prime filet of beef and 3 different desserts. Everyone left that table full. The wine was nicely paired with the food as well. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and made my friends wedding night extremely memorable.
We were able to get right in here without a reservation
We were able to get right in here without a reservation which was nice! It's much bigger inside than it looks. We were seated at a cute booth but the restaurant was very expansive. Our server was very nice. I got a lobster pasta and my husband got the short rib entree. Both were good!

We could not get a reservation at Scarpetta but stopped by and got seated in the bar where we had a great meal and wonderful service. I had the and fois gras raviolis. This unusual pasta was developed at Scarpetta and has become a favorite. It was immediately at favorite of mine. We started with a great salad and a carpese. We had a generous pour of Chianti and it made a nice late meal. They had no openings for the rest of the week but offered us reserved seating in the bar which we could not take. I will return the next time we are in Las Vegas.

Amazing food and service! I got the Agnolotti which was phenomenal, and my wife got the king crab risotto which she loved! Also unexpected was the complimentary bread appetizer, which came with ciabatta, foccacia, I think sourdough, and two pieces of stromboli, as well as some eggplant, butter and olive oil. For an appetizer that would regularly cost about $15 or so in Vegas, this was unexpected and absolutely fantastic! Loved Scarpetta, I'd definitely come back!

I recently dined at Scarpetta in Las Vegas, courtesy of a supplier, and while the atmosphere, service, cocktails, and wine selection were all fantastic, I was disappointed by the quality of the food. For starters, the octopus and oysters were highlights, although the octopus portion was quite small. However, the yellowtail crudo had a fishy taste, and the shrimp dish, while okay, felt odd with lentils as an accompaniment. For my main course, I ordered the scallops, which unfortunately were the worst I've ever had. The presentation was disappointing, and the portion size did not justify the $50 price tag. Additionally, the scallops were overly salted and chewy, leaving much to be desired in terms of taste and texture. While the overall experience at Scarpetta was pleasant, the subpar quality of the food, particularly the scallops, was a significant letdown. I hope the restaurant takes steps to improve the consistency and execution of their dishes in the future. Despite this, I would still recommend Scarpetta for its ambiance and attentive service, but would advise caution when ordering certain dishes.
Luis gave us tremendous service.
After 4 nights in Vegas, this was the best dining experience in Las Vegas!
Visited Scarpetta with my wife on Valentine's Day.
The service was top notch. The food was great. Price was about what I would expect for this level of a restaurant and location. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star is the ambiance. It gets this review a 4 star. Seemed like people were dressed a little too casual here and maybe a slight dress code should be enforced. I'm not saying this should be coat and tie by any stretch, but maybe a suggested nicer appearance. Many people in ratty jeans and T-shirts. Just took the experience down a star. Otherwise, a great meal with very attentive staff.
Excellent service and attention.
The food was fantastic. If I'm Vegas and you are looking for high end dining, I would highly recommend Scarpetta!

We found ourselves in a bit of a bind due to a 7 pm "O" show at the Bellagio, but the tremendous service at Scarpetta (led by our expert server Mike) allowed us to proceed through dinner at the pace we needed in order to make our show. And yet, we thoroughly enjoyed (and savored) each and every dish! A wonderful experience all around and we look forward to coming back. The pasta was even better than our memory of Scarpetta's NYC location.
Outstanding Experience
Went to Prime Steakhouse @ Bellagio. Mistake! Left and came here for my meal. The host/bartenders were friendly and let us pick our seat near the bar. It had a high-back, and a cozy closed-in feel to it. My wife and I loved it. My wife ate @ Prime, I didn't. Wanted an Italian dish, so I ordered Veal Parmigiana. It was unique with the bone left on. Unique, and am sure it made it more tender and delicious.
Exceptional meal and experience!
We absolutely loved Scarpetta! From the food, to the drinks, ambiance and service, this place is fantastic! The vibe is very mellow and romantic and our meals were exceptional. Everyone was so kind here and made sure to create a wonderful experience. I also liked that it was away from the chaos of the strip yet steps away.
Amazing meal.
Amazing meal from start to finish. I had the seasonal soup which was topped with a light crab salad while my husband started his meal with a salad. His veal chop was simply delicious and surprisingly tender. I went basic with the spaghetti and meatballs and I am glad I did. I often am disappointed with meatballs finding them tough or flavorless. I am glad to say these were neither; in fact I would say these were the best meatballs I have eaten in my 59 years. The desserts were lovely as well. I would return to Scarpettaโs in a heartbeat.
Italian
Stayed at the Cosmo and ate here on our first night. Itโs rather fancy, but not fine dining Good service from start to the end The scampi pasta very good, tuna tartare , steak and chocolate dessert (ice cream too frozen) ok 7/10
Fabulous food, service and experience
We made a reservation at Scarpetta on Sunday 22 October 23 to celebrate our wedding. We were a party of 6 and asked for a table that overlooked the Bellagio Fountains. Well, what a fabulous experience, we were placed in a private dining room which overlooked the fountains. The food and the service were exceptional. Thank you so much Scarpetta for making our wedding celebration so special and for going above and beyond our expectations.
Scarpetta Restaurant- Las Vegas
My Wife and I dined at Scarpeta on Thursday 10/26/2023 I would consider this experience as one of our most enjoyable restaurants experiences in the past 20 years. We love to go out and experience high quality and interesting food restaurants. We love to experience artistic foods and eating environments as a special treat for us. While Scarpetta is located in the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Vegas which is probably the busiest, crowded, and loudest hotel in Vegas, Scarpeta was located on the 3rd level of the hotel that contains a number of good quality restaurants. We were seated in a table overlooking the Vegas strip and the Bellagio water fountains show. This was a great view for us. Our waiter was top notch as best as you would like. I was very impressed by him because I was drinking red wine for diner, when I ordered my 2nd glass of wine; the bottle was emptied at the end of the pour. However, our waiter quickly returned with a new bottle of wine and poured wine beyond the normal drink level. Our food meal was totally amazing and beyond our expectations. Perfect preparation and presentation. Artistic would be the best description. We ate very slowly, savoring each bite. My wife enjoyed Raviolo and Filet of Beef. I enjoyed the Octopus and Braised Short Ribs. We shared the Desert-AMEDEI CHOCOLATE CAKE. Totally wonderful!
Relaxing & Delicious
Had an early dinner here and got seated at an incredible table looking over the Bellagio fountains. Staff were super helpful, accommodating and knowledgeable about both the menu and wine list. I had the Lamb which was incredible and appreciated the honesty from the server that it would be a little longer than normal due to how its cooked and could be up to 40mins. He kept checking in on us whilst we waited and kept us updated as to when it was nearly ready! When it came it was totally worth the wait. Delicious flavours and textures and so tender. Overall one of our best meals in Vegas, never felt rushed or anything and could have an incredibly relaxing time.
Terrible treatment of return customers with reservations
I made a reservation in April after checking every day until the reservations were open for our trip in September. We loved this restaurant and went every year for my birthday and/ or our anniversary. We had these reservations for 5 months then I received a notice through email, two weeks before our trip, that my original reservation was canceled with no explanation as to why. I made a new reservation for the night prior to the first reservation, received confirmation and everything was good, I thought. Nope, a week later, one week before our trip, I received a voice-mail that the restaurant had been sold out for both nights but they'd be happy to change my reservation to another night. No. I planned my trip for months and months and had reservations confirmed and you sold it out from under me. Obviously they only care about the rich people who can buy the whole place for two nights and not the repeat customers who can only get there one time a year to celebrate. We weren't getting anything free and pay hundreds of dollars for dinner for two every visit and we tip very well. I have literally told hundreds of people on Facebook how great this restaurant is and have left glowing reviews on TripAdvisor before but, we won't be back. I'm disgusted by how rude it is to do this to customers.
Exceeded my expectations
My husband and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary at Scarpetta. We got a fountain view table. Our waiter was very attentive. The complimentary bread basket was really good and the spreads were tasty especially the eggplant spread. The food was flavorful, we loved it! We have no complaints. We will dine at Scarpetta again.
Amazing experience!
One of the best meals we've ever had!! Travis and the entire staff provided excellent service and the food was delicious. The bread, the wine, the appetizer, the pastas, the desserts!!! Everything was amazing!!! Our only regret is that we hadn't discovered this restaurant sooner. It will be on the list for all future Las Vegas trips. We're also looking forward to our next visit to New York and trying that location.
Food was good.
Sat by the window and had a nice view of the bellagio water fountain which was nice. Had Caesar's salad which had good flavor, cheese and meat board was on point, lamb bolognese was good, fish was awesome, didn't have room for dessert. Cocktail was pretty good but barely tasted any alcohol. Yes I would come back
A very special evening
We celebrated my 73rd birthday by indulging in the tasting menu at the Scarpetta. The staff responded by ensuring that every possible detail met or exceeded our expectations for the evening. Our server, Luis, was excellent. The food was delicious in both presentation and taste. The view from our table was hard to beat. My wife and I are so very appreciative that Scarpetta honored our request for that window table and made my birthday celebration such a memorable event. Thank you!

Course after course of amazing dishes, immaculate plating, amazing flavors, this place had it all. I recommend eating at the bar, but the decor and ambience throughout the restaurant was great. Dont forget dessert!

Had a chance to eat a meal at Scarlett's this week when I was in Vegas. Ended up sitting at the bar with my wife. Chris was our bartender and was outstanding. I can't say enough about his recommendations and service. The food was outstanding and the price was an unbelievable value compared to other restaurants on the Strip.
Wonderful experience at Scarpetta in the Cosmopolitan
Had a wonder dinner at this restaurant. Was hoping for a little better view of the Bellagio fountains but still nice ambience with a U shape booth. Two of the three of us could see the fountains. Waiters were attentive and explained any questions we had regarding the dinner and drinks. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone. :)
Romantic atmosphere and yummy food
The atmosphere is very romantic and service is first class. Our favorite was the dessert ๐
I am not a huge pasta person.
.. I thought it would be a great spot to carbo load and drink some fine wine (for a 10k race the next day, and sleep that night :D).Instead our table got some of the best pastas I have had in my life and I have recently returned from (Campania) Italy. Flavors were great, texture was perfect, it may have been a little rich for my taste - but hell, its Vegas.Travis (and the team) was great! Definitely a spot worth a visit if you want some fine dining during your Vegas stay. Everyone was dressed so nicely and elegantly - I was in a button up shirt and wished I had a coat/suit jacket too.

We go to Scarpetta for dinner every time we are in Las Vegas (we love it so much we've also been to their New York location). If you love good, quality Italian food and a great wine and cocktail selection, Scarpetta is the place for you. On our latest trip to Vegas we once again stopped by Scarpetta. The atmosphere is relaxed and upscale and we always love the view of the Bellagio water show from the windows of the restaurant. In addition to wine and some dirty martinis, we ordered the Calamari and Raviolo. The Calamari was perfectly crisp and we loved the lemon and basil aioli dipping sauce. The raviolo is always one of our favorites and didn't disappoint. The truffle butter sage sauce that it is drenched in is incredible. For our main course, we split two pastas - the Duck and Foie Gras Ravioli and the Pici. The ravioli is something we've ordered the past few times we have been here. It is rich, but not too rich and we love it every time. This was our first time trying the Pici, a lobster pasta with tarragon and chili pesto. This was my boyfriend's favorite dish, but for me I wasn't a huge fan of the chili pesto. We were so full after this (probably because we had oysters and beef tartare at another restaurant a few hours earlier) and didn't save room for dessert. Highly recommend this restaurant for the atmosphere, service, and amazing Italian food!
Each dish was cooked to perfection, flowing with flavors
Each dish was cooked to perfection, flowing with flavors that were unforgettable. The service here is great too! We came in HOT with a large group of 25 at the top of the year- celebrating a friends January birthday. According to our receipt, our servers name was Jason. He had a second server accompanying him, who's name I can't recall, but he was equally as attentive! Both of them took such good care of our table, we were never looking for our server. Our table was kept clean, our food was served in a timely matter, and our glasses were always full. I would just like to compliment the staff on their hospitality, attentiveness, and strong knowledge of the menu! Every dish was served elegantly, wonderful presentation, and announced with its full ingredient list at drop-off. This was truly a fine dining experience! The bread was fresh baked, clearly tasted like it was made from scratch, and had a heavenly texture. So unforgettable! Highly recommend their seafood dishes and pastas. This is a great date night experience in Vegas or a great place to bring friends/family!
The food is awesome! Had the calamari and scampi.
Both were fantastic. Great service! You cannot go wrong here!

This place was amazing! For the quality of what you get, the prices are very good compared to other Italian restaurants in Las Vegas. Lamb bolognese was fabulous as well as their gnocchi. Great portions, not too big not too small. It's in the cosmo yet it's a quiet romantic feel with a nice view. The dirty martini was up there on my favorites list as well as their appetizer bread, but hard not to get full on it! The bread has cheese, salami, etc. would definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a dinner spot. Next time I will have to come hungrier so I can try their dessert.
My husband and I met our sister and brother-in-law in Vegas
My husband and I met our sister and brother-in-law in Vegas for a quick couples get away. We had reservations for 6:30 on a Monday. My sister and her husband are very picky eaters, sticking to basically chicken or beef, regardless where we go.The restaurant was filling up quickly. Our food was amazing. The drinks are great, the chocolate martini was excellent! My brother-in-law only eats red meat, he said the beef filet was excellent and my sister said the Chicken Piccata was excellent! We will definitely be back!
