We had a very warm welcome and lovely stay at Sebastian's. The rooms were well appointed, and coffee and tea facilities were available. The general ambience of the room and the breakfast restaurant was lovely. Breakfast was incredible, as should befit any top class hotel. I would definitely recommend to anyone. The owners went out of their way to help us with travel plans on our return home, and even called to check all was OK. Thank you.

Our family stayed for one night in two of the courtyard rooms on level one. Rooms are lovely, clean and cosy. Temple Spa products in the bathroom, the wife was impressed. The breakfast was fabulous with everything you can ask for. Gluten free options available. Lovely owners who are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay here again when visiting family.
Be the first to ReplyAn Amazing Gem of a Place, with Fantastic Hosts.
We arrived yesterday and stayed for 1 night, whilst on an e-bike ride around the border of Shropshire. This was a trip planned for August, but cancelled then, due to bad weather. Unfortunately, it rained all through yesterdays ride and we arrived tired, covered in mud, soaking wet and worried about what our hosts would make of us. We need not have worried, as Mark and Michelle are amazing hosts and they went out of their way to provide us with great accommodation, safe storage and charging for our bikes and drying facilities for our clothes and shoes. Mark even supplied me with a pair of new trainers to go out in for the evening! We'll certainly stay again, when next in the town, the room was lovely, as were the facilities, especially the shower. We didn't have time to sample the breakfast as, with more bad weather forecast for the next few days, we cancelled the ride and caught a train home. Thanks very much Mark and Michelle, unfinished business and a future stay beckons!

Very comfortable room with lovely bed and linens. Good breakfast but the music wasn't to my taste. Owners were very helpful with recommendations for places to eat and knowledgeable regarding the local area. Would stay again. Arrive early (3pm check-in) to get parking space and ring ahead for directions to the carpark (behind hotel and entrance easily missed)

What a lovely place to stay, you can't fault Michelle and Mark for there hospitality, Michelle could not do enough for you, the rooms were spotless and little touches, like and extra flannel to just for makeup removal, what a lovely touch. The whole place is so welcoming. Breakfast was top notch also. Thank you for a lovely weekend stay ☺️

We stayed here as we needed to leave for Snowdonia early next morning. The hotel is very unassuming from the front and we almost missed it. But once you are inside, it is a totally different world altogether. Everything is impeccable, right from the rooms to the service and to the upkeep of the common areas. The rooms are absolutely clean and very well maintained. The garden is pleasant and exudes a calm and serene ambience. Mark and Michelle were just awesome as host. We felt at home immediately after meeting both of them. They really went out of their way to make sure that our stay is comfortable. And the breakfast was absolutely fantastic. The choices and quality was really good. Definitely very highly recommended !

Had the absolute pleasure of an overnight visit. The room was spotlessly clean and airy. A cute little courtyard outside the room was lovely too. Breakfast was simply delicious, everything cooked to perfection and served piping hot! Plenty of parking on site. But the stand out part of the stay for me was the welcome I had. It was like returning to long lost family! Nothing was to much trouble and everyone was super helpful. Highly recommend
Be the first to ReplyHospitality, location, great breakfast!!
We stayed here for business, but also enjoyed eating and socialising in the town. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble, the hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The housekeeper also was lovely, keeping me topped up with whatever I needed, as I was working in the room. But the breakfast was the best! Beautifully cooked and presented, and the little touches of packing up the pastries for us to take, perfect. Thank you Mark and Michelle.

A lovely well appointed room which was spotlessly clean, following a warm, friendly welcome was just what I needed after a long drive to Oswestry. The property has a beautiful courtyard which I would imagine is delightful in the warmer months. The hosts were helpful and accommodating. A really nice change to staying in a corporate chain hotel. I was slightly concerned that the central location might be a bit noisy given I am a light sleeper, but I didn’t hear any traffic noise. The only minor downside was the wifi signal was a little weak but otherwise everything was perfect.

What’s not to like? Lovely room, nice big bed. In fact make that a VERY big bed! Everything in the room that you could possibly need and a good shower to boot! Michele was both friendly and helpful and the breakfast was superb. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but I’ve no doubt that the food in there would have been excellent too. I was surprised to read about Sebastians in Mail Online when we got home - apparently the restaurant may close at the end of the year. If so, try it before it goes!

We stay here 3 or so times a year for no other particular reason than its superb. Rooms are a good size and well furnished in a traditional way. Biggest pull for us though is the restaurant. Choice is from a reassuringly short menu with more than a nod to French cuisine which changes on a fairly regular basis. All dishes are made for the highest quality ingredients, are very well presented and served by people with impeccable manners. We are fans of the Rasteau wine from their excellent cellar. Breakfasts are also to a similar high standard. The place has been owned by the same couple for I think 30 years and what's amazing is that even though they have owned the place for so many years that they still retain a true passion for their business in all its aspects. I very rare thing nowadays. Can't wait to be back again even though its a 3 hour drive from where we live. One of our "happy places"

What a great place to stay. Accommodation very comfortable and clean. The owners and all staff were amazing, so genuinely friendly and most professional, nothing was ever too much trouble. Both our breakfasts and evening meal were exceptional. Probably one of the best dinners we have had and we have stayed in many places up and down the country. Thank you so much for a fantastic stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend Sebastian’s to anyone and would hesitate to stay and eat here again.

Go to Oswestry to stay in this hotel! Beautiful hotel with lovely staff... We didn't get chance to try out the restaurant other than for breakfast...but if the breakfast is to go by the restaurant will be worth returning to for sure. We stayed in Room 3 which was stunning... The photos do not do it justice.

Beautiful room, high quality furnishings, quiet and good heating regulation. Covid rules adhered to. Amazing breakfast , including porridge with a dash of Drambuie. Central location and parking behind the premises.

Although we travelled down to Oswestry for a funeral, which is never the nicest reason for a hotel stay, the hosts made us so welcome into their fabulous establishment. Had a lovely room up in the old roof and the evening meal was superb - and apologies for keeping Michelle up well past when I think the meal should have been finished! We're lucky enough to have dined in a few great restaurants however my dessert of white chocolate brioche with boozy cherries was probably my favourite ever dessert - mouth's watering now thinking about it! All in all, highly recommended :)

We stayed in room 9, recently created and very nicely done too. Everything in the room was perfect and was very comfortable. Brilliant breakfast in the morning, quality produce cooked to perfection. Breakfast not included in the room rate but the room rate was very fair and the breakfast was not at all overpriced. Could not recommend the whole experience enough !!!!
Be the first to ReplyBeautiful place to stay, excellent service, exquisite food.
We were welcomed by the staff on arrival, shown to our room, which was lovely. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout, the food was exquisite and really tasty, good selection of wines, great atmosphere. For the quality of food, its reasonably priced. Lovely breakfast in the morning, thank you Mark & Michelle and the rest of your staff we had a really enjoyable time.

Be the first to ReplyWonderful B&B
An excellent B&B. I stayed in the cottage at the back which sleeps up to 8. Accommodation is lovely, excellent decor and facilities and very comfortable beds. I didn’t have dinner (though I hear it is excellent), but I had breakfast which I would highly recommend. Michelle was also a friendly and attentive host. All in all a great place to stay if you are visiting Oswestry, and very good value.

A small but perfectly thought out room with a well equipped bathroom comfortable bed and some nice touches fresh milk and home made biscuits. The food was exceptional both dinner and at breakfast, excellent quality and well presented with a good wine list . The hosting by Michelle and her staff was first class. Would definitely return when we are next in the area.

This is restaurant in the centre of town which has 9 individual rooms. Our room was a great size, beautifully furnished with nice little details. The breakfast was fantastic - cooked to order and deivious. Highly recommended if you visit this lovely border town

Really lovely accommodation; we had room 5 garden room. Spacious, very clean and modern and the bathroom had a lovely mosaic tiled shower. Definitely would re-visit Sebastians for dinner bed and breakfast. The most perfect stay, thank you.
