I’ve eaten my way through the West Village more times than I can count — it’s home, and it’s packed with some of the best tables in the city. Here are my top picks and recommendations:

1️⃣4 Charles Prime Rib — Arguably the hardest table in NYC. You earn bragging rights if you’ve ever made it inside (and tried the burger + fried egg).
2️⃣ The Eighty Six — The old Chumley’s + Frog Club spot on Bedford. Same crew as Catch and The Corner Store. Scene? Immaculate. Lighting? Flattering.
3️⃣ I Sodi — New Bleecker location, same cult pasta. If you know, you know — and if you don’t, you’ll be waiting months to find out.
4️⃣ Via Carota — Order the salad. Always. The sidewalk tables are basically the Village’s front row.
5️⃣ Don Angie — Chrysanthemum salad + lasagna for two. Worth the chaos. Worth the carbs. Worth your entire personality for the night.
6️⃣ Bangkok Supper Club — The sexiest Thai restaurant you’ll ever step into. Think Bangkok energy, West Village polish.
7️⃣ L’Artusi — Sit at the bar, flirt with the bartender, order the cacio e pepe and olive-oil cake, and call it self-care.
8️⃣ San Sabino — Don Angie’s seafood-soaked sister. Riviera energy and polished coastal vibes.
9️⃣ Buvette — Croque madame, espresso, chaos. Still the prettiest brunch in the neighborhood.
