Simply outstanding technical cooking
We came here on the recommendation of my brother, who said this was the best meal he’d had at a Michelin star restaurant. We went for the tasting menu, including one of the optional courses. An excellent variety of courses, mixing between game and seafood, followed by two exceptional desserts. The highlight for both of us was the brill, where every element of the plate was exceptional. The only thing neither of us liked that much was the venison pudding, which was a little too large, dense and actually hard work to eat, but the rest of the dish was excellent.

Absolutely the best meal we have ever had. The Gourmand tasting menu was exquisite and beautifully set up with the paired wines. The Fallow Deer was totally the best food ever. More importantly the staff are wonderful and make it an even better experience. Thank you Seven.

Back for another splendid lunch. It’s a lovely spacious room and the food is very good but it’s the service that makes it. Professional, well organised but unstuffy. There is a light touch to the quite conservative cooking that is a pleasant change from some high end establishments and prices are sensible, which is also increasingly unusual. Highly recommended.

The restaurant is inside hotel. The ambience is good & the place is well decorated. Service was professional and delivered with perfection by the team. The food portion might be viewed as a bit small by some - but ideal for me - gave me room to try the delicious Stilton Souffle. The food definitely is fine British & it was tasteful. Dishes are not over salted as i find in many establishments. The rest rooms were very clean & well appointed

The food was absolutely amazing and the service was perfect. Would definitely recommend and come back again. The pineapple desert was so tasty. Loved the whole experience. Thank you

Simply superb! As avid visitors of the St James hotel we'd thought we'd give their fine dining restaurant a try and we were not disappointed! Absolutely gorgeous food, we couldn't fault a thing. Highly recommend!
Be the first to ReplyWhat a treat!
A gem tucked away in St James’s. We found it on TripAdvisor as it was perfectly placed between my favourite toy shops on Pall Mall (Farlows and Berry Bros) and Selfridges. An intimate and elegant interior with some masterful interior design touches and the food was every bit as good. We had the three course lunch menu with every dish a winner. The chef clearly has buckets of talent but keeps things just the right side of not being over engineered. This is confident, accomplished cooking by a chef who has overcome any demons of self-doubt. Bravo. I also commend the sommelier on his wines by the glass selection. The white Burgundy was delicious and good value. As was the Barsac. We’ll be back.

We came over for a dinner with friends who had been the restaurant before and boy were we in for a treat. Delicious food - beautifully presented in a lovely setting. Attentive service with a casual and jovial approach. Highly recommended - we will return.

Was lucky enough to dine here with some dear friends on Saturday and what a fantastic experience! The food was beyond outstanding. The scallops were perfect, the turbot was exquisite and marinated plums were delicious. Each dish tasted just as beautiful as it looked, and that is really saying something! Although the food was plentiful, it didn't leave us with that usual heavy feeling from over-indulging. The delightful Lara and the team gave such impeccable service with a big helping of fun, making the experience complete.

I had received a buy a gift voucher for my 50th birthday, during lockdown. I was very pleased that we were allowed to extend it by 2 years, my partner and I were very much looking forward to our visit. The staff were very attentive, welcoming, funny and friendly, they took their time to talk us through each course, with additional gifts from the chef, the food was exquisite, fantastic taste, texture and sensory creations that complimented each other. We had a great time, made special by the team, a Happy Birthday selection of sweets to finish and a signed Birthday Card from the whole team, thank you that was a special touch, Thanks again, and I throughly recommend seven park place and the team for an amazing experience
Be the first to ReplyA dining experience orchestrated by a world class conductor
My wife and I had the good fortune to be guided through the world class dining experience by a conductor (dressed as a Captain/waiter) who orchestrated the 2-course ALC diners (hers vegetarian) we selected. But it was so much more than just two courses - an epicurean experience with a pre amuse bouche, an amuse bouche, and a post second dish tastebud delight. The wine list is broad and extensive, but not unreasonably expensive. The peaceful and delightful room of around 30 seatings had the elegant feel of a private dining room - not a crowded noisy bustle of a restaurant. The service, course by course cutlery presentation and, of course, the food were all exemplary. To such a standard that having had the experience one is left with the somewhat annoying sensation that many future dining experiences are going to be disappointing.

What a fantastic lunch !!!!!! We’ve eaten all over the world, and this place definitely hits the right taste and service from a michelin perspective. From start to finish Matteo looked after us, food was excellent, from the bread to the starters and main courses .. wow !!!!! Highlights were the gazpacho soup, service and scallops and quail …. 10/10 👍👍 Look forward to coming back

Be the first to ReplyAmazing tasting menu
We ate here on Saturday night and were not disappointed! The tasting menu was spectacular and every dish was lovely. We opted for the matching wine flight and enjoyed all of these too which were perfectly paired. We eat lots of tasting menus and this was the best in a long time! Also, it was my birthday weekend and the staff wrote me a card and I had some treats to take home as well.

Visited with a colleague and customer for lunch. It was spectacular. Our lunch was served and explained in fantastic detail by our waiter. The care he showed and his enthusiasm for the dishes really helped create a dining theatre. Service was impeccable and not rushed, with care given on every aspect. Will definitely visit again.
Be the first to ReplyAn anniversary dinner to remember!
My wife and I visited Seven Park Place for our anniversary dinner and it was simply the best! Every dish in the menu was carefully assembled and it's hard to say which one we liked the most - the sequence of tastes was just right and the amazing staff led us through the story of the menu with each dish, which was a welcome surprise to the usual "readout" of the key ingredients and the simple "Enjoy!" you find in similar restaurants. The servers were very friendly and patient with us, making us feel welcome. Most importantly, we were offered a table in a more private area of the restaurant to enhance our romantic evening, but the real crown of the evening was the handwritten card from the whole staff congratulating us on our anniversary, each in their own language - we were truly delighted! At the end of our evening, they called us a cab and wished us a good evening, but they had already achieved that and by far. We recommend this place wholeheartedly and it's already on our list for the next time we visit London!

Probably one of the best meals we’ve had this year….perfect sized restaurant with perfect food and service ….Mother’s Day set menu was stunning…..each course was presented and described in detail. Excellent Wine list which catered for all budgets.A special mention must go out to Mateo and his staff who made the occasion even more special.one to remember and definitely one to visit again.
Be the first to ReplyIncredible food with friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere
One of the best restaurants in London. Food was fantastic with each dish different from the next and elegantly put together, making for a unique experience. Staff were incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable. It felt like a very calm and relaxed atmosphere (unlike the stereotype of a 'fine dining' restaurant) and I felt everything - from the food to the service to the presentation and atmosphere - was done in a very skilled manner that worked like clockwork. It definitely felt less like a meal and more like an experience.

Loved it all!
We received a fantastic experience from the moment we were greeted by the friendly staff to the moment we waved goodbye.
The staff managed to pull off a perfect balance between personable and professional. They were keen to interact with diners but did not at any time slip into becoming too friendly. They were very attentive but we never felt we were awkwardly watched.
The food was amazing, as you would expect at this level. Each course was delivered faultlessly and with an explanation to fully appreciate the chef's aspirations. It almost felt like each course turned over a new page in a novel with a sweet ending.
I could say so much more, but do not want to spoil the experience. Highly recommended :)
Disappointed With The Menu
The service and experience were excellent.
The menu was disappointing, 3 of the 6 courses were white fish and relatively similar.
The signature dish, foie gras, was excellent, as was the mango coconut sorbet. The filet and braised beef dish was good not great.
There were 3 wine pairing options at different price points, but there was no list of wines. They offered the sommelier to explain, but we declined as a verbal list of 18 wines didn’t seem functional. We went with the least expensive pairing and all the wines were nice, but unexceptional, which felt fair.
I don’t expect to love every dish of a tasting menu, but my disappointment felt avoidable if only half the courses weren’t a similar white fish and root vegetable medley.
A hidden gem
What a hidden gem! Absolutely wonderful experience from start to finish. It was lunchtime so we went for the Discovery menu with the paired wines. The meal started with some delicious canapés, a chicken consommé and bread with homemade butter, all before we got to the first starter. The signature foie gras dish was exquisite and the beef main had the most incredible Madeira jus. The wines were paired to perfection. The front of house team were charismatic, fun and knowledgeable and made the lunch even more special. We left with a little surprise gift, which was a lovely touch.
Naturally not a cheap meal, but represented great value for money for the quality of the food and the delightful service. Thank you Seven Park Place!
One evening as I wished
We came to this place with great expectations and we were not disappointed.
The tasting menu was perfectly balanced, tasty and very well presented.
The wine list is generous, and the recommendations were correct and very appropriate.
Impeccable service and very pleasant place.
Deserve! I recommend this place
Delightful experience
Went for lunch with my husband. The food was exquisite and presented beautifully.
The staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and charming. The service was impeccable. Overall an excellent way to while away a few hours.
Very enthused staff
Changed my booking as I got into London early. Arrived at 1200, first problem, reception were taking an age to book clients in and there were no signs directing di ers to the restaurant.
Eventually found my own way into the restaurant. I was first. And staff were clearly not ready for me as they were in an archway chatting and took quite a while to eventually see me, saying that, this was the only negative in a very good experience.
The venue is gently decorated in reasonably subtle decor.
The menu choice was always going to be the Gourmand.
I started off with three amuse bouche followed by a surprise extra game soup, which was superb.
Each individual course, served at a perfect rate, was well presented and beautifully flavoured.
I was interested in the fact they did meat fish meat which was unusual.
I am not usually a particular fan of cooked apple, but my goodness the apple tart was quite sensational.
The mocktail was ne of the nicest I have ever had.
Toilets were small but beautifully presented.
Staff very attentive and chatty
Nice experience
Lovely Christmas treat
Being greeted by the lovely friendly efficient staff was a wonderful start to our amazing meal.
We had the gourmand menu and every single was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful.
I would heartily recommend this restaurant the cooking and service are immaculate.
