Shore to Door Fish Market Miami Reviews from The Last Year
Wonderful Wonderful
fish that was so fresh and delicious prepared to perfection! We had oysters Rockefeller, sweat and sour calamari that were to die for. I had Grouper Francaise Large portion and taste that was so good I did not want to stop eating it despite being full. Wonderful Food. Awesome service.Kurt our waiter was phenomenal. My brother had dover sole.
All good, except the way the Manager treated us!
The hostess was excellent, very courteous, our sever Miguel was excellent as well. Food superb!! As usual! Except who appeared to be the manager, he was dressed in a black suit, had a thin mustache, who led us to a table we had not requested. He was rude! Finally we sat down, all great! At exit I saw him and said thank you, the rudeness continued, he looked away and turned his back on us. My husband and I go to dinner here often! No way to treat a customer! Very disappointed!
Delicious food!
Great happy hour and fresh food!! The crab cake was top notch! The Old Fashioned was good too and only $8 during happy hour.
Great way to end the evening
Enjoy sitting at the Bar listening to the band. Service is prompt and courteous and of course the food is great. If you are staying at Hilton Suites make sure you go next door.
Service was non existent.
Which is ok if it's reflected in the price. You help yourself to $8.00 beers and write down on a blackboard how much you drank. I ordered fish dip because they were out of the majority of the items on the menu. Which was surprising since nobody was there. The dip came in a bowl the size of a coffee cup and cost $18.00. The dip was extremely salty and over spiced. I was starving but couldn't finish it. Summary two beers and bad dip $30.00 before tip. They did have a very good band. I should have known better because the place was empty on a Saturday night. Advice...drop the prices and make twice the money.
Disappointing experience
The fellow who sat us ultimately defined our experience. He was rude, inattentive and uninterested in making our dining experience a positive one. He sat us in a corner with no lighting and then offered a look of disgust when we complained. Ultimately he gave us a table for 4, for a party of 5. He then intimated that we should bring a chair over from another table. We frequent other restaurants of this organization and really enjoy them. By the way, the food was well prepared and served. The management is failing their clientele at this site and more attention should be paid to detail.
A poorly run establishment that does not care about repeat business, I don't advise going there there are better places
The City Fish Market is definitely not the place to go for the following reasons: 1) The place is very noisy, there is no acoustical ceilings of you can't even hear the waiter talk to you or the guest you brought there with you across the table. 2) The portions are fried with too much oil and the salt they use is probably to kill the taste of the fish, those with high Blood pressure should definitely stay clear . I could not sleep the night with the taste of salt in my mouth. 3) The portion of snapper was child size and does not deserve the price they charge, I went away having to eat supper at home three bites and you were finished, additionly it was loaded with cooking oil which I felt was past it's expiration date. 4) I called the Market the next day and the manager was not interested in my complaint and very disrespectful. She needs to understand good public relations is her job. 5) If you need to go I warned you in advance.
The worst restaurant experience I have had in Boca Raton
This was my second visit, but it was the worst meal I have had in Boca at any restaurant. I sent my halibut back (which I have never done before anywhere) and I will be shocked if the second plate of (undercooked) fish was halibut. The presentation was poor and the only positive was the service. This is definitely my last visit to this restaurant.
Happy Hour
Good spot for Happy Hour. The popcorn shrimp, wedge with filet, and other snacks are good. Drinks are excellent. Service is good.
Kurt just made the night perfect with Delicious Seafood Choices
Excellent! Kurt made our evening wonderful. The food is always delicious, raw oysters, fried shrimps, perfect cocktails and crab cakes .. well words don’t describe! The food is guaranteed to always be perfect. Service has not always been perfect, but tonight with Kurt… awe a perfect wonderful date night… 🙏..

Enjoyable First Time!
Took my teen son to an early dinner. We were greeted and taken to our table quickly. The waiter was polite and knowledgeable. The fish we ordered were fresh and well prepared. The restaurant is well managed and nicely decorated. The Floor Manager came to our table and addressed me by my last name which he surprisingly pronounced correctly! I put this Restuarant on my list of future repeat visits.
Dog at bar being fed on her lap by owner
I have reviewed this restaurant many times and go there for dinner and happy hour at least once a week. However there was a very disturbing incident this week. A lady went into the bar area carrying a little dog (obviously not a service dog) and proceeded to sit at the bar with a companion and the dog on her lap. She was served food and bread and proceeded to feed the dog on her lap. I spoke to the manager and he said the dog is a service dog. (I never saw he manager again), According to law a true service dog is trained to help its owner with a disability. If the dog is not trained as such it is not a service dog but a pet and pets are not allowed in restaurants. Many restaurants now are posting the law on their doors and indicating that if the animal is not a true service dog do not bring them into the restaurant. Publix is starting to crack down on this as well and has posted signs as you enter. As time went on she went to the ladies room and handed the dog to her partner who was sitting next to her at the bar. Again, if this was a true service dog she would have taken the dog with her. I have pictures to show her walking in, feeding the dog on her lap, and having her companion hold the dog for her.
Average fish and seafood.
For dinner it was not too crowded and the service was good. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. The food was decent. Nothing special. We had the snapper which was overcooked and bland. The veggie side was plain. The crab cocktail was good as was the key lime pie. For a seafood restaurant. The fish was fair which is the key for me.
The quality of food was okay.
. but the portion is small. I got a fried yellowtail snapper and some fish bites which costed over $50, and didn't fill me up.

Came here after seeing it on social media and let's just say I won't be going back. For 2 small conch salads and let me emphasize on the small size. Let's just say imagine a kids ice cream scope. A small fish dip And two beers I paid $67 plus tip. I won't say the taste was terrible but it's not the Bahamas. I think the prices are not appropriate for the type of food and environment.

I have a reservation for Kasama Chicago I listed but it’s not showing up because the listed opening hours are only until 3 or 4 pm. My reservation is for their dinner service at 5. Is there a way I can change the times myself?
