Smoque BBQ Chicago Reviews from The Last Year
The bbq is as good as you get any where in this country.
Actually better!!! I've eaten bbq south of the Mason Dixon line. I always compare them to Smoque!! Haven't found any better....
Placed order of whole slab of ribs macaroni cornbread.
Large coleslaw . Pecan bread pudding fresh cut fries ( a joke) frozen all day. I don't why this food is rated so high it is terrible. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY . Delivery is best thing they got going. Pecan bread pudding is delicious!!! 1st time LAST TIME TRUST ME. BEWARE OF REVIEWS $98.00 wasted you have to try it once to see if it's any good now I know.
Pulled pork sandwich, 5/5, absolutely recommend! That soft
Pulled pork sandwich, 5/5, absolutely recommend! That soft sweet bread pairs perfectly with the meat and barbecue sauce served on the side Baked beans, 4/5, just not the taste for me! Brisket red bean chili - chunks of beef really makes this Gumbo -- sausage, pulled pork/chicken with a spice! Cornbread
Probably my favorite restaurant in Chicago.
Easily the best bbq in Chicago. Super friendly staff always helpful and attentive. Love the casual vibes when you walk in. The St. Louis ribs are my go to on the menu, with the Mac and cheese. But honestly everything on the menu slaps. You can't go wrong.

Amazing BBQ !! Made the trip out from central Chicago to try this place and it didn't disappoint. Proper melt in your mouth brisket and the Texas sausage was smokey and juicy. The sides are just as good, the beans are smokey and laced with chopped brisket, the mac and cheese would be a great dish even on it's own and the slaw was fresh and tasty. The BBQ sauces are really good too, proper BBQ joint loved it
Smoque BBQ is absolutely fantastic! I had the lunch special
Smoque BBQ is absolutely fantastic! I had the lunch special three tacos, and they were incredibly delicious. I've always loved this place, and despite my previous 4-star review due to the small portion of their awesome mac and cheese, I just can't hold back that fifth star any longer. This truly is the best BBQ place I've ever been to. The food is consistently top-notch, the flavors are out of this world, and the atmosphere is great. Smoque BBQ, you've earned all five stars from me

Meh . Everything tasted ok but not good. The beans were watery and too sour to my liking. The ribs were a tad dry and tad tough. The fries were cold but reheated ok. The Mac & Cheese lacked much cheese flavor. There's no soul in the smoque.
We ordered the BBQ platter with beef brisket and pulled
We ordered the BBQ platter with beef brisket and pulled pork. Added on a sausage. Brisket was moist and flavorful. Sides were all tasty including the mac'n cheese, cornbread, beans and coleslaw. The coleslaw was crunchy and very fresh tasting in a sweet vinegar dressing. Plenty for 2 people. Prices were reasonable and it's BYOB. Will definitely be back!
Side dishes are perfect, but the brisket had a lot of fat.
We were very disappointed with the sandwich. The mac and cheese and corn bread were delicious
The food is very tasty seasoned just right for my taste.
I would recommend this restaurant to my friends and family.

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
