Wonderful spot
Loveliest pre Twickenham lunch. Fabulous attention to detail and amazing flavours. Lovely setting overlooking the river and great sommelier

Great setting and pleasing decor, especially the pre dinner cocktail area.
Menu interesting etc
Service was dire, 1hour 10 until starters were served, we were a party of just 4 and the restaurant wasn’t full or busy.
Mine was inedible, stodgy mushroom risotto ruined by an extraordinary amount of mint added, such a bizarre combination, even though I was by then starving I couldn’t eat it.
Had lamb cutlet for main, and should always be served rare, however I didn’t expect the chef to just take it out of the fridge and put it on my plate with raw turnip.
The staff were not engaging and feel there was a complete lack of organisation, something was clearly not going right this evening.
Such a disappointment as desperate for there to be a decent place to dine in Richmond.
The wine list was very good but apart from that I am struggling to find positives, a real shame.
A lovely dining experience
My wife and I visited here to celebrate our respective birthdays. Whilst my wife is a vegetarian, I'm a pescatarian....and we both do not eat chocolate but the restaurant was great in accommodating 7-course tasting menus for us. The dining experience:
- Ambience - really classy and lovely with a hint of being in someone's cosy living room
- Service - the staff were really friendly and helpful. Also they arranged for a "happy birthday" dessert for my wife
- Food - amazing! I enjoyed the seabass and the trout. My wife enjoyed the risotto and leek soup
We would definitely come back again.
If you are going to the restaurant by car, there is no parking on the street the restaurant is on but if you drive past the restaurant with it on your right, turn left just before the traffic lights and left again, there are parking spaces reserved for restaurant customers.
Fantastic dinner
We had 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Service was excellent and we loved every single dish. Very friendly and professional staff. Thank you Bingham Team We will come back!!

We dined here some years ago when they had a different chef and left feeling disappointed nothing seems to have changed.
The starter of pork cheek was chewy and needed much more cooking, the dish had a small unnecessary pice of very fatty roast pork which didn’t do anything for the dish, I just left the pork cheek, and mentioning it to the waiter which I expected someone to of follow up.
Service was very quick no break between courses by the time our desserts arrived we still had of full glass of wine which we had to leave in order to eat our melting ice cream.
Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be anyone in charge, waiting staff didn’t know what they were doing, lots of little mistakes made, when we asked for our bill they presented it to another table.
Anniversary dinner
We celebrated our anniversary at the Bingham and had the 7 course tasting menu. The food is technically excellent and creative without being pretentious, with the stand out dish being the stone bass which was perfectly cooked and genuinely an incredibly delicious piece of fish. The menu as a whole was well designed, with dishes that connected to one another and were clearly prepared with great care.
Front of house was welcoming and friendly and service throughout was attentive without being overbearing. Especially deserving of a mention is Lukasz the Sommelier, who not only recommended a great selection of wines by the glass to complement the meal (we had chosen not to have the matched wines) but was also kind and generous with his time and knowledge, ensuring we came away from the evening with happy smiles.
Thank you all for the lovely evening, we are looking forward to joining you again soon!
Fantastic!
Fabulous food and service in a stunning setting. Had the 7 course taster menu. The food was faultless and the staff are friendly and knowledgable. A great experience, can’t wait to go back!

We had the 7 course taster menu for lunch with wine pairings offered by the knowledgeable sommelier. The food was beautifully presented with attention to detail and it tasted as good as it looked. The wines really complimented each dish and it was nice to be offered a choice on some courses to balance the meal.
I would highly recommend and can't wait to go back.
Fabulous Experience!
Had a wonderful experience at Steven Edwards at Bingham Riverhouse restaurant for the 7 course lunch taster menu was outstanding. I really enjoyed the fish course accompanied by the marmite bread and seaweed butter.
We choose the wine flight and the sommelier was very knowledgeable throughout the courses and also gave us choices of wine.
The views of the river Thames and the restaurant décor was just perfect l will definitely return.
Big thank you to all the staff which made our experience a day to remember!
Perfect in every way!
Visited Steven Edwards at Bingham Riverhouse restaurant for lunch. We had the 7 course taster menu with wine pairings. The food was exceptional and stunningly presented, and the sommelier very knowledgeable and helpful. The service was attentive without being intrusive and the staff explain each course as it is served. They are all clearly committed to providing an excellent experience for their customers. The dining room is lovely, and the setting looking over the river is the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon. The food was delicious and so interesting. We opted for the additional cheese course which is served with savoury ice cream! Try it, it’s amazing! There are lots of little extras such as the snacks and marmite bread with seaweed butter that are nice surprises and really compliment the dishes. I’m not sure why other reviewers have commented that the portions are too small. After all, that’s the point of a taster menu! At £75 or £55 for the 5 course menu, it’s fantastic value and seriously rivals other, much more expensive, restaurants. Overall, it was the perfect experience and I can’t recommend it highly enough!
