"Belly good night out"
Went there for a couple of drinks late on a Thursday night and had a wonderful experience thanks to the entertainment provided. A belly dancer performed later in the evening - Serina - she was outstanding. We had entree sized meals and a few drinks. Staff were very pleasant and we had a lovely time.... very expensive - £140+ for 4 drinks and two entrees.

Was here 3 years ago . It use to be a very nice place but now everything has gone down. Food wasn’t tasty at all. Cocktails were absolutely delicious.
Birthday dinner
Me and my girls went out last Thursday on the ameerah night to celebrate a birthday and it was the best experience I’ve had the food was amazing the staff are so welcoming and caring from the minute you enter the door The music this night, the entertainment and the food was phenomenal Wouldn’t of wanted to celebrate any other way and I’ll definitely be back next Thursday

Lovely jazz music
Had drinks here with friends a few weeks ago and it was absolutely brilliant! The live band played jazz music that added a lovely vibe to the entire evening. Will certainly go back when I’m again in London!

Sumosan Twiga is the perfect spot for delicious food, luxury dining, and a vibrant nightlife experience. The fusion of Japanese and Italian cuisine is exceptional—highlights include the Yellowtail Sashimi, Black Cod Miso, Lobster Linguine, and Veal Milanese. Service is attentive and professional, and as the night goes on, the live band and the DJ created a fantastic party vibe. It’s perfect for celebrations, date nights, or a stylish night out

Always a good time at Twiga. Still one of my Favourite spots whenever I’m in London. Highly recommend for nights out with friends!!
Sumosan Twiga
Sumosan Twiga is the ideal place for a lively evening in London. The combination of Japanese and Italian dishes was both unusual and delicious. The sushi rolls were flavorful and fresh, while the pasta was cooked perfectly, with a lovely sauce. The lively music added to the enjoyable atmosphere, making dinner feel like a real event. The staff was polite and efficient, ensuring our glasses were always topped up. I appreciated the stylish décor and comfortable seating. Although prices are a bit high, the quality justifies it. I definitely recommend booking in advance for a memorable night out. Five stars!
Great food
Had a great time at Twiga with some friends. Excellent food and the hospitality from staff was really good but the atmosphere was what made it such an enjoyable experience.

Love this restaurant! Been a few times over the past year and it’s a great vibe every time. Perfect for pre dinner before a night out too. Staff are always so accommodating and so lovely too!

Great experience from start to finish. Warm welcome from the reception team and hostess. Lovely service from the waitress and good quality food. Lively DJ that has the whole crowd dancing and entertained. Will definitely be returning.

One of the best places to go, the standards are met anywhere in the world where Sumosan restaurants are open, if you are a fan of Japanese quality food, like me, then this is a must go place :))

Most unprofessional and rushed service I’ve ever experienced
came for my 21st birthday meal, I’ve never felt so rushed in a restaurant before - our starters arrived before drinks, no breaks between courses, and had to ask for the same drinks multiple times over. At the end of the meal, the host sent the guests of the next sitting over to our table to sit at it as we were still sat down paying the bill and trying to finish our drinks we had waited for. The most unprofessional service I’ve ever received in a London restaurant.
Abysmal customer service
We went for our friends birthday beautiful place amazing ascetics but service was poor. 1. We all ordered our starters and an additional starter was brought to our table claiming we ordered the £90 crab leg as well we sent that straight back there was also a confusion with our wagu tacos where one did not come out. Eventually after everyone else finished our starters two came out when we ordered only one we was told to take the extra one as it was already made and it was on the house this was then also added onto the bill which we had to take off when the bill came. 2. The cocktails are horrid we ordered lychee martini that tasted like lemon we asked for it to be sweetened and was given lychee juice to make it ourselves. Then we ordered a sex on the beach and again it was horrid we sent this one back and ordered a coke instead not to risk another bad cocktail and again that horrid cocktail was added to the bill with and additional charge of almost £20 for a grey goose shot. 3. We went for my best friends birthday who was wearing a birthday girl sash with bags and balloons next to her and when we eventually got the birthday celebration dessert they put it down infront of the wrong person and sang happy birthday even though through the whole song we were saying it was the wrong person and we physically had to move the dessert to the birthday girl. 4. I had to ask for soy sauce for 10 minutes asking 3 different people until it was finally delivered. 5. All the mains came out lukewarm. 6. We did not have one waiter we had at least 4 different people come to the table which just added to the confusion. 7. Also be aware that they allow vaping inside of the restaurant we had people leaning on our table vaping while we were eating. 8. We took pictures of everything that came to our table just for normal social media lucky we did as we used that as evidence of what we ordered compared to what was on the bill. In the end we could not justify paying a 300+ service charge for such a disappointing “high class” experience. It was busy so I am not sure if that was also a factor relating to this situation not to mention we over paid by £20 as the person collecting payment was not helpful either. I would not suggest this for a special occasion.

Perfect place for a girls night. The food is amazing, and the DJ keeps the vibe going. If you are in London you have to go at least once!
Ruined my Valentine's Day
Attended for valentines day. The worst valentines ever. Our table was for 10PM we were not seated until 11:15PM and did not start to eat until 11:40PM. They sat all black people in one corner at the rear of the restaurant and left the two black waiters ( one male one female) to attend to us - this could have not been more obvious. Food took extremely long to come out and when the food finally came it was two prawns in a bowl of grass. The food took so long that we were forced to leave before finishing, not to mention that the food came out cold. Only decent thing was the view of the lady I was with. Which was ruined as she dozed off twice waiting for the food to come. Was not worth £240 and we both left still hungry. Would never come here again. I would have been better off going to Nando's and getting a faster service and more worth for my money.

Went to Sumosan with my friends this month, and it did not disappoint! The service, the food, the atmosphere was all 10/10. I’d highly recommend a visit if you enjoy luxury dining.

Great girls night out
DJ played absolute tunes and waitstaff joined in with dancing and singing. Food was great and the right sizes. Bar staff went through entire cocktail menu with me to find non alcoholic drinks
There's a reason this place can't push past even 4 stars
There's a reason this place can't push past even 4 stars while claiming to be such a prestigious establishment. They even lie in response to reviews on google saying we disrespected their management when we were completely composed and respectful the entire time up until the end when their security continued to shout stuff at us while we walked away. You got what you deserved you're in no place to be talking about what you consider disrespectful to your establishment when your security puts their hands on your customers. I was profiled by a security guard who almost refused me entry over my prada formal sneakers while allowing people with t shirts and jeans and streetwear to enter. I ignored his rude and aggressive attitude and eventually made our way in to find our table... only for him to aggressively grab me by my arm when approaching the desk at the front. I told him don't put your hands on me and that was that. We end up complaining after dinner and miriam the manager sat and watched the "head" of security (some big guy with gap teeth) berate us, cut us off, lie, and try to intimidate us as we try speaking on the matter. We were completely respectful but they refused to listen to us. First he tells us "oh he's new take it easy" when two minutes later he goes "he's been here for 38 years you need to respect him" I am GROWN MAN. Not a child, don't speak to me like one. He then wants to tell me the dress code allows jeans t shirts etc, however I was being profiled for my outfit and almost refused entry because of it. (tucked button up with suit pants and prada formal sneakers) Miriam was not interested in a single thing we had to say, in fact she was watching like it was entertainment. We were completely respectful the entire time trying to explain as nicely as possible that all we wanted was an apology. The security all circled around us trying to intimidate us and when I finally was tired of being "nice" - I said i'm over this, let's go and tried to walk out, but the big "head" guy puts his arm out trying to prevent us from leaving. I make my way around and let them know i'm not eating here ever again and you can find better food because the service is BAD. I mean... The $130 steak that should've been a 10/10 felt bland and tasteless... How does one mess up A5 wagyu. Pasta was alright but was a 6.5/10 at best listed for a price that you'd expect the food to at least be a 9?? Found much better pasta at a place called Bella Ciao amsterdam, where we got a huge plate of pasta and a full pizza for around €15 and the food was ACTUALLY a 10/10. Service 10/10 and food was phenomenal and the employees were class acts. This place should take notes.. As we maneuver around the security which had all circled around us - we were met with a remark of "your attitude is just as sh*" and "don't like the food? but walking with a take out *laughs*" - Yea it was my fiancés 21st bday, I wanted to make sure she had extra food after drinking all night considering we're visiting and don't have a stocked fridge at our hotel...? Also have you ever heard of giving left over to the homeless? Don't care for it though, tossed it onto the ground where it belongs and walked off. Maybe security can lick it off the floor because that's the only way they can afford to actually dine at the restaurant themselves. Stop acting like we did that for no reason. this entire incident could've been completely avoided had you responded correctly from the start. Love how you try blaming US for your lack of training and basic knowledge of customer service. Either way, Is this how you treat people who pay $600 for a bday dinner with two people? This is your service? This is why you'll never be more than a bunch of sheep and wannabes in a wannabe city. Most power these people have ever had is being a manager or security at an "expensive" (but classless) restaurant and it's obvious. Nobody has any real clue how to actually run the establishment. No wonder they love to power trip. Former employees even claim these people to be a bunch of racists ... No surprise there.. I booked my reservation through my executive assistant, and had an amex centurion concierge associate on it as well to make sure reservation was set and 100% confirmed. But all was disregarded, we were still treated like 13 year olds complaining for no reason, made to feel stupid. Was even told the bouncer was coming to grab me in a "friendly way" - Which again does not matter you DO NOT put your hands on a customer in any circumstance unless they are posing a physical threat. Jealousy and envy must have gotten to them seeing people half their age living a life they can only dream of while working the same place for 30 years. Absolute joke. DO NOT DINE HERE unless you're a borderline pr*stit*te looking for a sugar d*ddy! then this is the place for you ! Because their rules won't apply to you... Only to the people who actually come for the food.

It is amazing how an establishment aiming to serve the higher-end of the market be so clueless about service. It is not that there are a few rude employees, the management is messed up. Rather than trying to address issues they get aggressive and try to prove you wrong. I can go on with the details of service issue but I just rather warn you to think twice before spending a special evening at this place.
Exceptional restaurant.
Not sure why so many folks rate this place low. It's bogus. Food was excellent and the service was great. We went for my wife's birthday and ordered the beef carpaccio which was not only tasty, but also came with a nice smoke show. The truffle pasta and tagliatelle were both great. The Ferraro rocher dessert is a MUST! The Italian red wines were great and the DJ/music was all fun. You have to come late like 830/9pm when the party starts. Enjoy!

* DistinguishedTree58 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to DistinguishedTree58 for any questions Peter may have as DistinguishedTree58 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* DistinguishedTree58 now uses their connections at Sumosan Twiga London to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If DistinguishedTree58 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, DistinguishedTree58 receives the $200 reward which is credited to DistinguishedTree58's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
