Supperland Charlotte Reviews
I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at
I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Supperland with friends. The interior is beautiful (though maybe a little loud), and the service was outstanding. Our server, Nick, was very knowledgeable and helped us choose a great selection of food and drinks. This is one restaurant in Charlotte where "shared plates" are actually large enough to share. Between five of us, we enjoyed bread, onion dip with house chips, a steak, miso mac and cheese, corn dip, brussels, mushroom risotto, and smashed potatoes. We were too full to order dessert, unfortunately. I was impressed with the depth of flavor in every dish, but especially the mushroom risotto. I will absolutely be back.
Amazing food, fun flavors, great cocktails, excellent
Amazing food, fun flavors, great cocktails, excellent service. Beautifully styled and much appreciated attention to detail. Confused about the seating order- made an early reservation (right after opening) and the next diners were seated at the table directly next to us, with 98% of the other tables being empty (the tables 2 person tables are very close together.) Even by the time we finished our dinner, 25% of the tables were still empty so I imagine they probably could have spread the diners around a bit. It was a great dinner but could have been more enjoyable if not "seated with strangers." But don't let that be the big takeaway of this review. Food, service, and overall aesthetic were 10/10!
I came here for my birthday and everything was fantastic!
I came here for my birthday and everything was fantastic! To start we ordered the sausage and gravy croquets (YUM) and the charred wedge salad. The salad was the only thing I was not a fan of. It was very bland and I wouldn't order it again. For the main course we had the ribeye, crispy potatoes, Brussels sprouts, and cream spinach. Everything was delicious and cooked perfectly. I love the sauce that came under the potatoes I wish there was more of it! The Brussels were great but I found it a bit odd that they topped it with peanuts- I could have done without
Great restaurant that puts a delightful spin on Southern
Great restaurant that puts a delightful spin on Southern and pot luck style foods. It is located in an old church providing a unique dining atmosphere and experience. We enjoyed the prime rib steak cooked medium rare with a side of bone marrow broccoli, miso Mac n' cheese and blackened onions which was plenty for two people (we even took some food home with us). We heard that you must leave room for dessert so we tried the Cheerwine Float Sundae and it did not disappoint- the cheerwine (cherry flavored) homemade ice cream was delightful and the rich chocolate brownie pieces made this dessert a unique but decadent and memorable dessert!
Honestly, I have heard so much about Supperland that I was
Honestly, I have heard so much about Supperland that I was hoping to give a great review. But what a disappointment. Four of us came here for Saturday brunch. The restaurant was half empty, so not busy. PROS: The ambience and repurposing of the church were beautiful. CONS: Parking was crazy. Assumed a church would have a parking lot. The food was lackluster. Not one item was memorable..except the brussel sprouts..which I can make at home. They "circulated" with oysters, one shrimp cocktail and cinnamon rolls. In the entire 1 1/2 hours we were there, they "circulated" to our table once. The cinnamon rolls were overcooked, dry and not worth eating. Pillsbury canned rolls would have been better. The main foods were uninspired, and boring. Not one item made me say, "wow!" The service was not great. My daughter in law had to clear her own plate by taking it up to the coffee station. We waited 10 minutes to get our "coffee bill"..which should be included in the price. We finally got the bill by walking up to someone and asking for it. Our waiter was nowhere to be found. Over $80 pp for this brunch..DEFINITELY NOT WORTH IT. It was more like a $40- $50 brunch at best. No wonder they make you pay in advance. Nearly $340 for 4 people for average everything. Definitely overhyped. So disappointing.
I love Supperland.
Really do. Just came by and grabbed their orange cake to go. Worst thing I've had in a really, really long time. Put it this way, I paid 20.00 for this...... I've had better from the pre-packaged area in Harris Teeter. Wow...... Just sad. Ko flavor. Flat. Mostly crumbs. It was a joke....
This place was the cutest! The ambiance was so stunning.
I believe it used to be a church so the vaulted ceilings are just beautiful. We had an assortment of goodies from the buffet, cinnamon rolls, deviled eggs, sausages, benedicts, desserts, etc. They were all pretty good but nothing spectacular. This place is pretty expensive. We paid about $60pp for Sunday AYCE brunch - not including drinks. This is more a place you go to with the girls for a cute brunch, not a brunch spot with the hubby. Its more ambiance than top tier dining - though the presentation might fool your for a sec. However, I would go back!
The food and the service were excellent.
The parking is a challenge with very few spaces. You may have to walk a couple of blocks.
I always have a great meal at Supperland.
Most recently we had a large party in for brunch for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent and so was the service. There was a variety of high end hot and cold options and everyone had an amazing time.
It was good until the pork gave me food poisoning.
Also the martini was really weird.
Didn’t live up to all the hype!
So many missteps and missed opportunities! My husband and I made reservations for our 32nd wedding anniversary. I called to confirm and it took them 15 minutes to find us in the system. The only time they had available was 5:00pm when they opened. We got there at 4:50pm and asked for a cocktail at the bar and was turned away. They don’t serve drinks until 5:00 pm! Really? You blew an extra $34 since drinks were $17 a piece! Then they sat us at 5:00 and I asked if the bar could make a cocktail a little less sweet, was told NO! Then the A/C wasn’t working, they had the doors open and the flies enjoyed most of our appetizers. The waiter couldn’t describe the $55 sablefish! Staff was dressed poorly, crocs and striped socks with shorts?? So strange - not high end! We ordered oysters that had sand in them, pork belly with a cherry sauce (very strange and not eye appealing) . It was bad experience from the start to the finish. Manager finally came over and comped our appetizers and gave us some cookies. NOT enough to make up for all the slack service and mediocre food. They can’t figure out who they want to be.
Supperland Deliciousland
Supperland is a dining experience extraordinaire. Our family celebrated a milestone birthday and enjoyed a fabulous Sunday brunch that wowed us with so many delicious offerings. Everything from made to order eggs Benedict to oysters on the half shell. And the dessert bar was a real treat! The atmosphere is stunning— a restored church with beautiful high vaulted ceilings, and accommodating staff. The all-you-can-eat buffet satisfied everyone- especially hungry teenagers! Be prepared to pre-pay when making brunch reservations. Tax and tip automatically added and a no-refund policy is explained in the process. This insures that Supperland can count on how much fresh food to prepare. But when we knew one of our party could not attend, I called several days prior and the manager was kind and did credit us the cost of one meal.
Great Food, Great Staff, Captivating Facility
Parking in The Plaza area is a challenge, but once that has been accomplished you say to yourself, "That's an old church." We dined on a Tuesday evening, celebrating my wife's birthday. The area was alive and the restaurant had a great crowd. Food is served family style and for our table of four we ordered the Wagyu Pot Roast and Can Can pork with mac and cheese and crispy whole potatoes. The food was simply incredible. Our party were all so very satisfied, Our server, Tiffany, made the evening very enjoyable with her wonderful personality and great service. Nice work, Tiffany. A table visit by Walter and others was also pleasant, warm and personable. Truly a great staff and atmosphere. The work culture here is evident.
Sunday Brunch
Went for Sunday Brunch. Although pricey - it was amazing! Beautiful venue and everything we ate was above and beyond delicious. A once in a lifetime thing.
Top Notch Meal!
Our first visit here, the experience was top notch! We loved the inside vibe of Supperland but you can expect a higher noise level. The acoustics of an old church being what they are…. The staff here is very impressive, they are involved throughout your meal to ensure everything goes smoothly. Not that our server needed any help, she was great!! The menu is not huge but well thought out (and explained expertly by our server). There were also some great specials the night we dined, a couple of which we took advantage of. We started with the Bibb lettuce salad (nice shareable size- great mix of tastes), then the Shoshito peppers (a special that was among the best we’ve had). Off to a great start! Next up: the filet mignon (definitely a quality piece of meat) and the swordfish (another special that was superb). We added a couple of sides to the mains: the Brussels sprouts (probably our least favorite item of the night) and the Ambrosia (holy mother of sides- this was awesome). Don’t forget the take home chocolate chip cookies which are certainly a discussion on their own…. We lived our experience and would highly recommend Supperland! Expect prices on the higher side, especially if you go with the steaks.
Supperland deserves the hype. You should give it a try. Terrific steak. Won’t be disappointed.
Supperland did not disappoint on a Friday evening. Food was excellent. Wagyu steak is the way to go. We shared among three people and worked out well. Sides choices are on the eclectic side. Enjoyed the mushroom risotto. Two people shared the peach cobbler. Loved it. Great place for a night out. Waitstaff extremely attentive.
The food and cocktails were excellent.
The selection was eclectic and the service was exceptional.
Hands down the best meal we've had in Charlotte.
Supperland you need to go here for an elevated experience! The service was impeccable! The best we've seen. The food was about flavors and presentation! The charred oysters were just barely charred but they were served with clarified butter with a lump of charred wood in the pitcher. They finished cooking by pouring the sizzling butter on top. Incredible! Wife had shrimp cocktail that was paired with cocktail sauce with fresh horseradish! Yum! Entrees are designed to be shared. We had Pork Can Can. It was a whole Cheshire pork loin and belly in a cherry-mustard compote. Absolutely delicious. Best pork dish ever! For sides we had charred carrots(ginger goat cheese sauce), blackened onions(in sizzling clarified butter) and wood oven brussels(Dijon, bacon fat, lardons and pecans). The sides were all incredible. After a cocktail and wine we managed to share a dessert of Strawberry Shortcake-the basil chantilly cream was a perfect topping for this dessert. We can't wait to go here again. It is not cheap. $250 for a true experience! We will go back. I've heard their brunch is also the best in the city (reservation required!)
Great ambiance and service with a price to match.
Would definitely come here again, perhaps for a special occasion.

It was an excellent experience.
Food was devious. The staff were very friendly and a great atmosphere.

Wanted a special, memorable dinner for my family, we had many things to celebrate and Supperland definitely was the right pick! Joshua, our server was just fantastic from beginning to end! The interior is so beautiful and we loved trying a variety of menu items! We were a party of six and everyone found items they enjoyed so that was very nice. Also want to point out everyone on the staff from the hostess at the door to the young man that kept our water glasses full, that we appreciate them as well, could not have been nicer! This is a special place worth visiting!! Can't wait to come back and experience brunch! Hopefully we will be lucky enough to have Joshua again!!

Wow. My mouth is still watering from this experience. I finally was able to try Supperland and it did not disappoint. It is so beautiful and has the best ambiance. The service was incredible, someone was always at our table asking how things were going / refilling waters or drinks. The food though was by far the best food I've had in Charlotte. We did not have a bad thing here, the wagyu is a MUST - and the miso Mac and cheese was to die for It is a little pricey; but worth it - the best spot to celebrate or have a date night!!
I've had Superland on my list for a while and finally went
I've had Superland on my list for a while and finally went recently for dinner with two friends. The restaurant is gorgeous and has a great vibe. It can get noisy so be prepared. The menu isn't huge but has something for everyone and the portions are large, family style. We shared an order of crispy smashed potatoes and an order of cauliflower (special) and those were my favorite items of the meal. I had the chicken for my entree. It was good but fairly average. The desserts were good and not overly sweet. Cocktails were good, the "Trust the Process" was nice an unexpected. The biggest negative was with service. I don't know how to describe it other than odd. It was slow and awkward. That I can overlook but we were surprised to watch, on multiple occasions, our server taking our unused utensils and putting them back in their cutlery box to give out to others. What if we touched them, licked them, or coughed on them?? Even if other places do this, it is not normal and it's gross. At least have the decency to do it out of view.
Beautiful interior , great service however the food was
Beautiful interior , great service however the food was very average, beef ribs , onion dip , Brie pastries all quite underwhelming. Cool to go once to see the inside definitely would not be going back
My new favorite restaurant
Off the hook fabulous. I don't have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to tell you how much I enjoyed dinner. Nothing disappointed. Appetizer, drinks, entree, sides, dessert, all top notch. Our server was Kate and she was friendly, helpful and efficient. We were n town to visit a sick relative and were looking for a dinner spot. We luckily found Supperland online. In all honesty, it is my new favorite spot. We were never in Charlotte before, but we are already planning to go back so we can eat here again - I'm not kidding. Luckily CLT is an AA hib, so flights are reasonable. We started with the french onion dip with homemade chips, followed up with wagu ny strip with lump crab and sides of creamed spinach and corn and horseradish salad. The steak was PERFECTLY seasoned and the spinach had great flavor and the creaminess was thick. Highest recommendation for the corn salad. There were flavors in it that were totally new to me. We finished up with the breakfast for dinner sundae. Honestly, I was lukewarm about dessert. One spoonful solved that. The combination of flavors and textures was AMAZING. I could go in, but I need to shut up now and I didn't even get to the drinks, which were awesome. Go! You won't be disappointed

Have always had a good experience but with service and with the menu. One of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte.
The food looks amazing.
Unfortunately, I have not tried it. I was immediately turned off by the $3 per person NON-REFUNDABLE reservation Fee per person charge. Not per Reservation. PER Person. This place needs to be boycotted until they learn this is not the way to win customers.
Food was spectacular! Service was amazing.
Great night to enjoy a good dinner. From appetizer to dessert. Couldn't be more satisfied.
Absolutely delicious, and although not cheap, it is
Absolutely delicious, and although not cheap, it is actually very good price because it is family style! I would definitely go back. We went for our anniversary and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The place was very crowded but has an open atmosphere so it does not feel crowded. I think next time we would be more creative on what we get but everything was fresh and delicious.
I changed my rating system some time ago as I was using
I changed my rating system some time ago as I was using Michelin starred and Bib Gourmand experiences as standards when giving out stars. For some time now though I have tried to rate establishments based on the lane they occupy rather than based on lofty standards. We drove an hour-and-a-half to eat here and the experience was worth every mile and every minute. For Supperland my old system is apropos. While a bit loud, the ambience in the cavernous church was bright and airy. The tableware was beautiful. The server very informative for us newbs. Many of the entrees are portioned in such a manner as to be shareable. The sides are remarkable in their complexity of flavor while at the same time representing simple fare. Take for example the Miso Macaroni and Cheese. That ubiquitous dish just couldn't be done any better. Creamy, umami bomb that satisfied on all levels. My wife and I shared the Seafood Perlou. The depth of flavor once again shown through, and the seafood was cooked perfectly. We topped it all off with a very worthy creation called Breakfast for Dinner Sundae. What a creative and flavorful desert. This was a trek we will gladly take again.
Wow!!! Just amazing birthday dinner here for a friend.
Drinks, food, service and THE best ambiance made for a memorable evening!! I had initially come here just as they opened a few years back and was not as impressed by the food but have to literally eat my words as we had an amazing celebratory dinner here! Ps don't miss the chocolate chip cookies! I'm looking forward to coming back and doing brunch here very soon! Be sure to make a reservation in advance as they fill up quickly!!
After many wonderful meals at Supperland, it's with a heavy
After many wonderful meals at Supperland, it's with a heavy heart that I share about our recent experience, which sadly didn't live up to the high standards we've come to expect. We did the speak easy experience for a special occasion and it was priced top dollar and we've had several dining room experiences tenfold better than this one at a portion of the price. This time, our meal felt as though it was made from throwaway items, with dishes tasting old and portions dramatically smaller than before. The drinks were overly sugary and lacked the sophistication of previous visits. It's difficult to express disappointment when you've only ever had praise for a place. However, honest feedback is important. Despite spending almost $500, the evening was not what we hoped for. We're sharing this in the hope that Supperland returns to the exceptional quality we know it's capable of delivering.
It was awful.
And at the beginning of all I want to say that this is my objective opinion based on how much I wanted to visit your place and what I got in the end. I was a restaurant administrator in the past and I can tell you that your service is terrible. We have been here three times with my husband, and only the third time we were able to get to you. Having made a reservation on the phone and clarified whether there will be a table for two people specifically in the dining room, we were told "yes we have a table for you". Upon arrival we were not seated in the diving room as there was no table for us .... and instead we were taken to a room with a bar. I will not talk about the fact that when we were led through the restaurant, 80% of the tables were empty. The room where we were led was intended more for a drink than for a full dinner. We were seated at a table right next to the toilet and technical room, where not only every minute running staff and washing dishes right behind your back, so I also heard every flushing of the toilet. When the waiter came to us, it is unclear why he squatted and leaned fully with his hands on the floor of our table talking about the menu items. I beg you to teach your waiters to speak clearly, slowly and understandably for your customers, because he spoke so inarticulately that from all that he tried to tell us I did not understand a single word (believe me, I trained waiters, and I know how to be put diction in the waiter). Food. We ordered the Baked Brie Bites starter which was delicious, nice and quick, I loved it. After that we ordered oysters - we ordered one but for some reason they brought two portions , none of them we didn't eat because it was disgusting , and we also ordered salmon with vegetables which was also unfortunately bad , all the salmon was swimming in water from the vegetables , and God replace these cheap crackers with something normal like bruschetta or some other thing . We ordered two orange juices, no questions asked. They also brought us water in dirty glasses. The whole glass had fingerprints and smudges from the rag . We paid $108 for the bill and left just with a spoiled mood and wasted time. We often go back to restaurants we have been to before but I will not go back here again, it is not what I expected based on your social media photos. Thank you.

The brunch here is top shelf! We literally had to take a break and then jump back in. I already loved Supperland for dinner but baby THIS BRUNCH! It had everything! Do NOT miss the cinnamon rolls that the staff walks around and passes out. I think I could SEE the butter in them! *drool* Listen, I'm just going to post the pics. You will understand why you should go! Oh, the place is gorgeous and the staff is wonderful too.
The food and drinks were delicious.
The service was great and we loved the atmosphere. Will definitely be back! The mushroom risotto was incredible, wagyu NY strip melted in your mouth, and the grilled oysters were so delicious!
Best Brunch in a Very Long Time!
They have perfected brunch. Supperland was a “religious experience” with their beautiful interior and elegant serving plates. The attentive staff made sure that we were pleased in every way. The best oysters on the half sell with a tasty mignonette. The best sauce for the shrimp cocktail. We arrived at opening to avoid long lines at the serving stations. The head chef Chris made it a point to bring to our table freshly made Brussel Sprouts. Perfectly cooked eggs Benedict. Cassidy, our server was amazing and kept checking on us and replacing the plates with clean ones. I decided on green jasmine tea to go with the cutest finger sandwiches. The drinks brought to the table for my companions were creative and tasty. Our hostess Victoria seated us near their bright and beautiful large windows. We hope to return to enjoy the full menu. Much gratitude for a wonderful experience.
Must visit space for foodie.
What an experience! Kate did an amazing job taking care of us. Great atmosphere, drinks, and dinner. Three of us split two mains, two sides, and two appetizers.
Just what we wanted for a birthday dinner!
My wife and one of our sons took me to Supperland for a birthday dinner. What a treat! The restaurant is a renovated church, nicely done and well-appointed. The booths and tables are ample and well-spaced, providing a comfortable dining experience. During our dinner, the noise level was moderate – we easily engaged in conversation. Portions are large so yes, this is a “sharing place.” Our appetizer of charred wedge salad and chimichurri shrimp was perfectly prepared and enough for the three of us. For dinner, we opted for the 16 oz. Wagyu strip, medium rare, and it arrived warm, cooked to order, and perfectly sliced. Again, it was plenty for all of us. Sides of smashed potatoes (not so imaginative) and roasted brussels were good. We opted to split the Banana Pudding Sundae and it, too, was ample for us three and oh so good! Service – attentive, prompt, and we were never left looking for our server. The sommelier, Michael, was across the room when he spotted us gazing at the wine list and came directly to the table to offer his assistance. He didn’t flinch when we asked him about one of the lower-priced Italian wines, served it promptly to let it breathe, and then visited the table often to ensure our glasses did not run dry. We’d read that parking can be difficult, but easily found a free surface lot about three blocks from the restaurant. We noted two other paid lots as we walked to the restaurant and on this early Friday evening, there were plenty of spots still available. All in all a wonderful experience. Pricy, so I doubt we’ll be regulars, but we do look forward to returning again on a date night.
Trust but verify
We almost didn’t try this place with so many “good but not great” reviews but glad we did! The food was yummy! The service was solid all around and there were plenty of options (including 4 or 5 daily specials). Very cool atmosphere with various unique seating options. Cocktail menu also is loaded with great choices. Definitely worth checking out!
Good
After reading many news articles and publications regarding the much anticipated opening of this restaurant, my husband and I ventured about 30 min from a suburb to dine at Supperland. The restuarant is in the heart of Plaza Midwood and there is no parking, we were left to drive in circles around numerous blocks looking for a space that wasn't a designated tow-away zone. The restaurant is in a converted church, very lovely with a modern yet romantic/cheek vibe. Our waitress was very attentive and knew the menu well, our drinks were never left empty. The food was prompt. I think our only negative was the menu selection. With the potluck style menu, there is not much creativity or excitement. We ordered Sausage Gravy croquettes for appetizer and it was tasty, lots of flavor but it wasn't spectacular. We had the pork can-can for main alongside mushroom risotto and brussell sprouts. All of the food was good, we ate a LOT and still had leftovers. The Risotto had great flavor, the brussel sprouts were tart and crunchy, I appreciated the textures. The pork was good. Overall we left saying, "this was good, but not great." I think the lack of excitement on the menu was a disappointment, basic veggies and chicken, pasta, pork that I can replicate at home. I think if we are going to drive 30 min for another date night we will pick elsewhere with a more ecclectic menu offering more exciting and creative dishes.
Disappointing Experience
We visited Supperland last night for a birthday celebration. With great expectation of good food and service, we were left very disappointed. Although the environment was aesthetically pleasing, the lack of communication regarding the menu availability shifted our good vibes to disappointment. Although we appreciated the initial service of our waitress to get water and drinks, she was unknowledgeable of the food selection, and much of our order was not available. Upon finally getting what we did order, the blandness of the food was less than appealing and that caused our group to leave most of the food on the table.
Good not great
The ambiance was great, and the knowledgeable sommelier was a very nice touch; however, it was incredibly loud (courtesy of the high ceilings), and my steak was overcooked. We will return but we are not in a rush.
Loud, proud, and worth it!
It took me 3 times trying before I made it, but it was worth the wait. The staff was very pleasant, did a nice job of explaining the "shareable" concept and guided us appropriately through the menu. Great specials on both food and wine, and a truly enjoyable dinner. The only drawback to the evening was the space itself. Because it was a church at one time, it was open and loud. It was difficult to have a conversation. If you want intimacy, probably not the right spot. But, if you want good food at a good value, I highly recommend.
We came here recently to celebrate our 11 years anniversary
We came here recently to celebrate our 11 years anniversary and had a phenomenal time.Staff were very nice and accommodating. We had a reservation, so no issues. We actually began the night over at their bar and had appetizers while we wait for our dinner reservation. The appetizers menu is the same, so it's actually great that we were able to do that and have a few drinks before dinner. The sausage and gravy croquettes were yummy and oysters were fresh and sweet. The restaurant is very nice inside, not as formal as you may think. Everyone was having a great time and the atmosphere was very chill. The wood fire oven in their open kitchen is gorgeous. We had the rib-eye and Wagyu NY strip, with Mac and cheese and bone marrow broccoli. Plus champagne and more drinks. The cook was perfect on the steaks. Medium rare and smoky charred crust. Mac and cheese was very creamy and broccoli was good as well. I honestly didn't taste bone marrow. To me it was just broccoli, nicely seasoned though. Do get the red velvet cake, has a coffee flavor to it and not too sweet. Very well balanced and delicious. They gave us macarons for our anniversary, very cute. Although pretty, macaron shells need work. They were hard and brittle. Flavor was ok. Highly recommend for date night or a special celebration.
Food, drinks, service and ambiance was amazing.
I had the best experience. The service was very attentive. I ordered ribs that didn't have much meat. I shared that with the server Ellie and the manager ordered me a new order...double the original! I will be back for sure.
Yummalicious....
The atmosphere was incredible, as well as the wait staff. We started off with perfect martini (gin and vodka) cocktails. The lamb, mac and cheese, pot roast and pork were wonderful! Dessert was to die for. I can't wait to return someday again when I visit Charlotte (hint: I might return just to eat at Supperland). Thank-you for an unforgettable experience!

It took us 2 months to get into this restaurant as we wanted to visit to celebrate our anniversary. I'm sorry to say I'm not sure what the fuss is about. It's located in an old church and they have done a good job of decorating it to maintain the authenticity while making it feel like a restaurant. It is not warm however and certainly not intimate. It's actually loud! It wasn't particularly busy when we were there and I could barely hear our waiter. The flatware and dishes are antique looking and mismatched which fits the decor. The menu is heavily homestyle southern. I knew this going in but thought there would be more options. We started with oysters. They were good. Nothing to really make them stand out. Then we had the charred wedge skewers. An interesting presentation of a standard dish. It was very good. My husband had the steak which came sliced. He said it was good. He thought the mashed potato's that came with it were excellent. I had the Bronzino. It was also good. We got the Mac n cheese as our side. An interesting adaption, this actually has a bite to it. We didn't plan on getting dessert but were surprised we weren't treated with some thing small as we had told them ahead of time we were celebrating something special and the waiter acknowledged it when he first approached. Prices are on the high side. Service was average. Not super attentive but not an issue. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. In fact it was a good one. But not near my expectations and probably not worth a visit back.
