came here for their 11 course omakase and definitely didn't leave disappointed!- notes -card payments only!reservations must be made online in advance. only 10 max people can be served at a time in this restaurant, so it's not really the most optimal for big groups.- atmosphere -the inside of the restaurant is really intimate! there are short plastic barriers between each individual party, and not much walking space either. right when you walk in, you can see the area where the chef prepares the nigiri in front of you. it's a pretty cozy space, and the lack of space isn't a big deal since you'll be sitting for the entire course anyway. - overall experience -our party of 3 was originally running a bit late but thankfully 2 of us made it on time for our reservation. our last person arrived 20 minutes late, but the chef was kind enough to save her fish on the side and serve her separately once she joined us. this place is pretty strict with being late and cancellation fees, so i'd highly recommend getting here on time. right when we were seated, the chef started preparing our nigiri. he would tell us what type of fish was being served, but we wouldn't hear him that well. nevertheless, there was still a fair amount of time in between each course and we were able to truly enjoy our meal slowly! we were also served green tea and a bowl of seafood miso soup. the entire meal took around 90 minutes, but the omakase was mostly around 1 hour. after the 11 courses, you can order a la carte nigiri off their menu. their a la carte menu includes nigiri that was served during the omakase and some that weren't. the service here was great and we really enjoyed our experience!8/23/22out of the 11 courses, i would say i only really enjoyed only about half of them. the stars of the show were definitely the uni, honmagoru chu toro, and bluefin tuna nigiri. they had so much flavor and the pieces were tender as well! the other half of the course was just okay in my opinion. a handful of the pieces were a bit tough to chew on and not as tender as i would've hoped them to be. the sushi rice that was used fell apart easily at times too. overall quality-wise, i'd say that $80 for the 11 course meal is a bit expensive but not too unreasonable. however, we definitely didn't regret trying this place out! i wouldn't come back, but it was still a memorable meal.
