Lovely patio and extensive menu! I had the seasonal mimosa which was refreshing. Patio was very cute and private away from high street

Went there today! Waited at the entrance to be seated for good 15-20 min! Several servers and other employees walked by, didn't even acknowledge we are standing there. Finally they seated us, again another 45 min wait. Was hoping that at least the food will be good! But was horrible! Will never go back. On a scale of 0-10 ( worst to best) for food, cleanliness, service Tasi will get a big 0!
Be the first to ReplyI came here for brunch recently with friends.
It's a no frills but cute place. We sat outside and the service was very friendly. I ordered the chai which was way too sweet for me. My wife and I shared their salmon hash, which came with big chunks of smoked salmon, potato hash, and eggs. Each individual item on the plate was quite nice but it didn't quite fit together. The Cuban sandwich here was really good. Will definitely return to try some of the other items.

Such a great local spot! Went for breakfast will definitely be headed back. Fluffy pancakes and good vibes.
Be the first to ReplyThis place has gone down hill.
Slowest service I've had in years followed by mediocre food. We showed up right when it opened and it took an hour and a half followed by having to track down the waitress to get our check. Save yourself a headache and go elsewhere.
Be the first to ReplyWent here for breakfast because just off N.
High Street where our hotel was located. . Large outdoor dining area which was shaded for breakfast and a pretty large indoor area as well. Lots and lots of choices for breakfast, including some creative ones. At our table of four we had the Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Burrito, Challah French Toast and Greek Omelette. All four were very very good, but the standouts were the Huevos Rancheros and the Challah French Toast. The rancheros were covered with more crushed tomatoes and onion salsa than I am used to, but it was very flavorful and it made excellent additional topping and dipping for the Black Bean and Queso Fresco Tortilla. The eggs were prepared as ordered, over medium. So this dish was a great hit and is highly recommended. The French Toast was very large and prepared perfectly for the combination of crunch and softness that good French Toast has. Served with just the right amount of maple syrup and the Caramelized Bananas were a great addition. The breakfast burrito was nicely filled but nothing special and the Greek omelette was at least 3 eggs and loaded with vegetables and feta. The sausage on the side was pretty ordinary. The coffee and tea served were also outstanding. One of the best coffees any of us had ever had, and the tea was creatively served. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and all food care at a timely manner. All in all, for breakfast, this restaurant is a winner.
Be the first to ReplyIt was really hot in the restaurant.
The floor was really sticky. The food tasted great. They have the best fresh orange juice! The staff were friendly but busy. We will definitely eat there again.
Be the first to ReplyGood food at a decent price.
Very little parking but easy to walk to from most places in the Short North. Healthy and filling options for breakfast or lunch. It's small so gets full quickly and service can be a bit slow. Overall, a decent spot.

Such a cute place with delicious food! I like that the menu changes often, my only qualm is that I'm somewhat of a picky eater so finding something that I like with a limited menu can be challenging. I've always been able to find something however, even with a more limited menu. Outdoor seating is great during nice weather, especially because the inside is a bit small. Service was always been great as well every time I have gone. The waitstaff are very pleasant and agreeable to talk to.

I have lived in the short north area for the past 6 years and this was my first time checking out Tasi! I was really impressed with the space and was shocked that I've never seen it before! They have an impressive menu with lots of options, and everyone at my table really enjoyed their food! We got the Turkey club with fries, chicken panini, and breakfast burrito. Both sandwiches were really good, the bread was fresh and delicious and each sandwich had great toppings/flavor. The breakfast burrito was also really good. I have had breakfast burritos at other places with more toppings/salsa and this one was just meat, egg, and cheese. I appreciated that the burrito wasn't super tortilla-heavy, some places I feel like majority of the burrito is tortilla and didn't feel that with this one. I would order both items again but with how many delicious items they have on the menu I would probably try something different next time.

I'll start by saying I didn't have any of their food or treats, but the place smelled AMAZING while I sat there with my laptop for a few hours. I got a dirty chai with almond milk and was not disappointed. The servers were nice, I found a great spot by the window near an outlet, and I was set. During the afternoon, the place has incredible lighting pouring in through the windows and warming it up. I think it will be the first of many days at Tasi with my laptop. Parking in the area is sort of a nightmare, but if you're walking in the Short North and looking for a coffee shop, don't overlook Tasi just because it isn't on High St.
Be the first to ReplyFirst time here and ordered their French toast.
The food was good but for the price I was expecting a more traditional restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyHad a breakfast burrito which is great.
Way smaller than your typical breakfast burrito but I suppose they make up for it with the a side of potatoes. They didn't taste that great. The restaurant reeks of the kitchen food smells so expect your clothes to smell that way afterwards.
Be the first to ReplyThis place is so cute! Very tucked away and cozy.
We went in early on a day off from work and their was actually a decent amount of people. But the 2 servers and kitchen kept everything flowing. I went with the open faced salmon sandwich. The focaccia bread was soooo good and they have a really good fruit side with it. Not full of melon! Also tried the steak and eggs which was yummy. They have a really awesome menu so I'd be happy to stop back in any time.
Be the first to ReplyIt was a bad, overpriced breakfast.
A stale bagel for seven bucks. They put eggs in a vegan burrito. The salsa was like Pace Picante- chunky and bad. Bean quesadilla floppy and weak. Roasted potatoes so weak it was like they were boiled in unsalted water. 40 bucks for breakfast for two and it was bad. I reached out to them to see if they had any thoughts- none.
Be the first to ReplyMy husband and I came here for brunch last Sunday.
I think he liked it slightly more than me. He got the breakfast burrito, while I had the breakfast bagel sandwich. The bagel itself was really hard. The caramel roll that we shared was really good and tasted fresh. I also had orange juice which you could was freshly squeezed.

There's usually a wait here on the weekends, and it's pretty loud and busy. The quinoa hash and almond milk latte were both really good! The breakfast burrito was pretty bland tasting, so probably wouldn't recommend that.

Not sure why I hadn't heard of Tasi until a few weeks ago, especially when it's been around for 15 years now! One of my friends who came with said she used to go all the time during Ohio State. I became even more mindblown. But anyway, I'm an immediate fan of any place that has breakfast all day because I LOVE breakfast foods but typically don't eat until noon.To me, Tasi is like Katalina's and Northstar had a baby. Homey/local feel of Katalina's but a menu that is a bit more breakfast traditional. Except for the caramel roll -- which I excitedly ordered, but the last one had just gotten snatched up. Sad. (I saw there was one left when I ordered it and our server was slow to go get it - my only critique of the whole experience). I did end up getting a lavender blueberry muffin instead which was perfection, crusted on the outside and very soft on inside. Best eggs benny I've had. Instead of an English muffin as the base, it has a buttery flaky biscuit. The jalapeรฑo butter that comes on it isn't spicy but is delicious. Much better than traditional hollandaise imo.The cuban is addictive. My husband ordered it and my one bite try turned into 4 or 5. Three different meats (including bacon!) and delicious pickled vegetables. Comes with oily and decadent saratoga chips.Heuvos rancheros is one of the most popular items on the menu and after trying a bite... I get why. It is different from what you might think, with a focus on the tomato and egg, and the bean and cheese tortilla is on the side. So savory and delish. Was having the hardest time picking just one item on the breakfast menu (and there are so many other options for lunch too...salads, burgers, tacos) that I have to come back and try more. They have booze too. Didn't get any this time but prosecco is calling me for next time.

I visited Tasi for brunch around 11:30am on a Sunday and was surprised to be seated outside immediately at a table for 2. The service was prompt and we received our food quickly. We ordered the steak and eggs and French toast, both of which were very good options. My only complaint was that the outside tables are very small and we felt very cramped throughout the meal. Parking can also be a bit challenging during peak hours. Nonetheless, I'd definitely recommend this cute, tucked away spot to a friend.

Love this place! What I enjoy most is that it is owned and operated by POC. They are also heavily involved in the community. I love spending money where it is helping the most vulnerable in our society and knowing I'm helping them and their families gain wealth. Ok enough of my sociopolitical rant lol their food is also quite delicious! I order the potatoes every time. I tried their veggie hash which was ok. I got an iced coffee and French challah toast. You can sit inside or out. No air inside. It's a simple set up but very organized and clean. Staff are wonderful and they are pretty quick with food even when it is busy. It is in an ally in the Short North. So parking is tough. I live in the neighborhood so it isn't so bad. I tend to forget about it because it's hidden. Perfect place for vegetarians and vegans!!

We just had the most delicious brunch! My husband had the breakfast burrito and I had an open faced smoked salmon which was served on half a feasted ciabatta roll. Great coffee and great service!
Be the first to ReplyOur food was second to nine.
Quinoa hash was magnificent, creative, well crafted. Pancakes were great, bagels and bacon were stellar. Such a cool spot! Loved it. We waited a long time for our food, too long to give five stars. But it was worth the wait.
Be the first to ReplyI had the egg croissant sandwich and it was so good.
Usually a standard breakfast sandwich can be hit or miss but this was perfect before a day of activity in the sun

Came in on Mothers Day- it wasn't busy, 5/7 indoor tables were wide open. No one acknowledged us for about 10 min until we grabbed someone to seat us. We then had to wait longer each time for someone to stop by our table. Again, it was not busy. We watched several other families experience the same seating problem we did. I listed to love Tasi- but this was probably the worst service I have ever experienced in Columbus. Complete disregard for any patrons. Really put a bad taste on my Mothers Day :(
Be the first to ReplyReally loved the food.
They have excellent tea and coffee. Mine was two black bean Patties with sour dough bread on the side. Loved my food!
