This restaurant is so cute!! It feels very cozy & home-y and now I know why they called it Thai HOUSE restaurant haha The lady who service us was super sweet and they played calming music that made me feel so relaxed. Overall, some of the food itself didn't meet expectations, but still rated it a 4/5 & would come back considering the service & atmosphere. Dishes: - Thai House Wrap: 9/10, super refreshing and tasty, this was my favorite dish that we ordered - Curry puff: 8/10, crispy and delicious & it paired perfectly with the cucumber salad. The cucumber salad has this sweet sauce that I dipped the puffs in and it was so good!! - Tom yum shrimp: 4/10, I was pretty disappointed in this soup because it's normally my favorite Thai dish, but it was very salty and the flavor was really different. They didn't give much soup to begin with and it wasn't hot either. We had to ask them to put hot water in it because it was too salty. - Pad Thai: 5/10, the noodles are thin and were over cooked and felt like it was also missing some flavor Drinks: - Thai Iced tea: 6/10, not as sweet as I would have liked Dessert: - Mango Sticky Rice: 6/10, the rice tasted undercooked and wasn't that sticky...the consistency of the sticky rice wasn't what I'm used to
Be the first to ReplyWe went last Friday for a team lunch and wow.
It was delicious. We ordered a variety of food. We decided with the combination appetizer and that was delicious for a big group. We did two orders. When they mean spicy, be ready for a bit of spice. Most of us ordered a medium spice and the kick was there. I can handle spice this surprise me but a good surprise. I could never go wrong with the basil chicken and Thai tea. The service was great. We were there first and were treated wonderfully. Would go back again

We have been coming to this restaurant for many years and have always enjoyed our meal. We decided to take out this time, a very rare exception. In addition to being really good Thai food the way they pack their food is excellent. We got it home and it was still hot with the packing. We just might do that again.

Drove all the way to try this Micheline recommended restaurant. Did not disappoint, hospitable homy. Customer service was top notch. I've had food serving with more. Flavor is delicious. You notice off the bat the traditional noodles and sauces used.
Be the first to ReplyTerrible food, terrible customer service.
Ordered garlic prawns that was like a liquid soup spilling off the side of the plate. Veggies barely done. Advertised as JUMBO garlic prawns but contained a total of 5 medium sized shrimp. They were out of the jasmine rice I ordered, so they bring me a gelatinous glob of sticky rice I couldn't swallow if I tried. Frozen dinners from the grocery store taste better than this and are better value. Staff did not even attempt service recovery when I voiced my concerns and in fact got defensive and argued with me. Over priced trash!
Be the first to ReplyThe cozy ambiance at Thai House is hard to beat.
It's a stress free spot for decent Thai food. It's hard to compare it to neighboring spots like Lotus and 11th Tiger. In my view, I like the food at other spots better. The tofu could use more crunch and the pad Thai needed more flavor. But let's focus on the positive. It's a pretty restaurant. The staff is nice, so I encourage folks to check it out and disagree with me.

A little house turned into a restaurant, with the front rooms - dining, the back - kitchen, and a front porch - outside dining. So adorable, and a block off of the main Hartz street.Unfortunately, It's alright, it's okay.Dining with the gf and the pooch, we ordered:1. Thai Red Curry [$18.95, 3.5 stars]2. Basil Chicken [$14.95, 3.5 stars]3. Pad Kee Mao [$16.95, 3.5 stars]Nothing was great, all was good. But it's barely hanging onto just above mediocrity.
Be the first to ReplyThis is an excellent Thai restaurant in East Bay.
We had a large party with vegetarians and they catered to both. Service was good and food was delicious.
