The view is spectacular and the service is at top notch.
An great experience. My favorite spot in the city
Be the first to ReplyCame here about a month ago and was very excited to try.
My partner and I were craving seafood and couldn't wait to enjoy our lunch. We were seated fairly quickly after putting our name down and sat at the bar. Service experience - our server was incredibly rude off the bat, had an attitude with us when we asked about the menu. This definitely had us skeptical to continue having lunch here although we really wanted to try - so we stayed. Throughout the meal - the server never checked in on us. We would have to wave him down (even though it's a small bar). When my partner ordered a cocktail (kumquat / calamansi margarita can't recall) he couldn't taste the citrus to him was a regular margarita but we thought maybe flavor wasn't strong enough. 5 mins later a party to our left ordered the same drink but with fresh fruit. We quickly brought this up to our waiter to which his response was well maybe we were out of fruit when your drink was made (obviously didn't make sense - nor was that a solution). I had to ask the server to make us the correct drink we ordered which he huffed and puffed about. This totally killed our experience - if given the same server again wouldn't come back.Food: Razor clams w/ yuzu: 9/10Oysters: 10/10 refreshing Scallop truffle toast: 10/10Fish and chips: 7/10 very basic wouldn't recommend
Be the first to ReplyFood was okay but very overrated for the price.
The service was extremely slow, especially considering the amount of staff! Fine for some overpriced NYC drinks at the Seaport but will not be returning for overpriced, average, small portioned food.

I highly recommend starting off with the Calamari Salad, it's spicy and refreshing. The Longevity Noodles were absolutely delicious, the lobster was tender and juicy, omg ! so good. I would also recommend ending the meal with banana boat dessert and an expression martini. I thought the waiter was respectful and attentive. Really enjoyed the view, I thought the ambiance was super chill and relaxed.

I had the pleasure of dining at The Fulton by Jean-Georges on Valentine's Day and our Anniversary, and it was indeed an unforgettable experience. We were impressed by the romantic ambiance and intimate setting when we stepped into the restaurant. The space is beautifully designed with high ceilings, elegant lighting, and a stunning waterfront view added to the overall romantic ambiance. The spacious seating arrangement ensured we had ample privacy and could enjoy our meal without distractions. The pre-fixe menu was exceptional, with a generous seafood tower that was beautifully presented and delicious. The service was also top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable dining experience...they even brought out a special dessert for our anniversary. I highly recommend The Fulton by Jean-Georges to anyone looking for a romantic and intimate dining experience. The restaurant offers the perfect blend of upscale ambiance, excellent cuisine, and exceptional service that will leave a lasting impression on any couple. If you're looking for the ideal date spot, The Fulton is definitely well worth a visit or two!
Be the first to ReplyI give the Fulton 5 stars for the freshness in their meals.
Enough to get your taste buds where they need to be. It's not an intimate setting but certainly a must for the real New Yorker. Many celebrity sighting there if you're looking. Give it a try and peruse the seaport where you'll find a cool bar upstairs.

I wanted to like "The Fulton" I love seafood & wanted to experience something new. The place is big and the views are great! The food is extremely overly salted & I wouldn't know what the rest tastes like because my wife had 3ft long white hair in her scallop dish! I've never seen a hair this long! It really put us off . We couldn't finish. I realized it belonged to one of their employees that was serving wine! Not sure how it got to my plate, but it was a bit disturbing and put us off! Im definitely not coming back!

Was looking forward to celebrating Valentine's Day at The Fulton on 2/12. We booked the reservations way in advance, 1 month plus. Although, it was not needed because plenty of spots were open. We even hired a babysitter so that we can go to our dinner plans. Our reservation was at 6:30pm. At around 1:30pm, 5 hours before, the restaurant EMAILED to say the reservations were cancelled. No reason or explanation. It is Superbowl though! I called and the staff said it was "due to unforseen circumstances". Only asked if we wanted a rebooking? Absolutely not! In all my years of reservations, I've never had this happen. The restaurant didn't even have the courtesy to PICK UP THE PHONE to call all the guests to notify. Hope everyone checks their emails every minute. The guests get charged with a cancelletion fee, but I guess there's no reciprocation. Thanks for ruining our holiday celebration.
Be the first to ReplyI had a solo lunch for NYC Restaurant Week.
Service was ok. Portions were smaller, and I had to take dessert home. Appetizer: Yellow Tuna TartareThis dish was small, but at least I tried it. It wasn't memorable. Entree: Ume Sesame Crusted SalmonThis dish was the perfect lunch portion. It took a while for the dish to come to my table. This was the highlight of my meal. Definitely try this dish. Dessert: Ice Cream and SorbetI took the dish home because I had to head back to work. I got the Whiskey Pecan, and Coconut both tasted very good. My meal was paired with the yuzu mocktail.
Be the first to ReplyPlease do NOT come to this restaurant if you want to
Please do NOT come to this restaurant if you want to celebrate something as both the food and service are awful... Here is the story. We made the reservation via Resy a week earlier and made a note that we want to celebrate birthday here and please give us a window seat so we can take pictures. Before the date of the reservation, we called the restaurant to double check/confirm the reservation we made. She said she checked that our reservation has already been plotted on the second floor window sitting area as we made the note in the resy reservation and we are good to go. Then on the date of the reservation, we have been waiting at the check-in place for a while..Not sure what they were doing but around 20mins later. Finally someone came to take us to the table. Surprisingly the table is not by the window at all. I said we made the reservation for sitting by window. The manager came and I told him the note & call I made. I said it seems they made mistake by giving the table to someone else. Then manager started to argue with me that they didn't make a mistake, which is very funny. What's the point of arguing with a customer? Then I suggested to find another spot next to the window. After a long wait, we finally got seated at a spot with barely view by window. We are so tired of continuing arguing with them so we decided to focus on the food.Talking about the food. The food tastes very bad.. how come this is a restaurant under Jean George? The food is either too plain (no flavor at all) or too salty. I know this restaurant is famous for view but considering you can't arrange people to sit by the window and the food taste itself is also so bad. From the service perspective, waiting for so long to get seated and manager argued with customer.. Then what is your selling point?? Don't waste your money here and there're so many restaurants with good views good service, and tasty food in New York. Don't ruin your night here :)

Really great food, beautiful interiors, and friendly service! Our waiter Samuel was super kind and helpful and we all loved our food!
Be the first to ReplyWe had the most magical night at the Fulton.
We ended up deciding to go with the prix fixe meal and it was incredible. The best meal I've had in recent memory. The entire meal included around 9 different dishes and they were all exquisite. We loved the lobster noodles, the octopus mozzarella, and the fluke. The staff was friendly, kind, and so on top of things. I highly recommend The Fulton for a special occasion. Added bonus, the views are to die for.

My first time at the Fulton, we were a large group so we were in the private area in the back. That space has a really nice view of the water and the bridge. The food was really good from start to finish. We started off with appetizers including the seafood plateau which is essentially a seafood tower. Because we were a large group we all ordered a few different things so everyone could try. Definitely enjoyed the longevity noodles with lobster, the warmed octopus and my crab & eggplant pasta dish. The drinks were good as well. I got the ginger margarita. A few others got the Negroni which they seemed to enjoy.
Be the first to ReplyBest restaurant for a celebratory night out! The ambiance
Best restaurant for a celebratory night out! The ambiance and service is exceptional and you can't find fresher fish in NYC.
Be the first to ReplyWe were extremely disappointed with the service as well as
We were extremely disappointed with the service as well as the food. First, our server put in the wrong order for our drinks and it wasn't made correctly. Second, our appetizers took over an hour to be served and the manager(Ben) came over and offered an apology but that was all and it was just a beet salad and oysters. Lastly, we had to wait an additional 40 mins for our entrees, which the manager brought out himself and again offered an apology (useless). I would never go back and would not recommend this place to anyone. The views would be the only reason to visit this restaurant, but you can just see it from outside.

Be the first to ReplyThe place has a rep, so my wife and I went there to check
The place has a rep, so my wife and I went there to check it out recently while in NY to see relatives. Food was pretty good, I'd give it 3.5-4 Server Guillaume -- excellent 5Can't beat a view of the Bridge, definitely 5+ Also, Sandra was a great Maitre'D, and showed my wife and me around the place after I told her that I was thinking of bringing the whole family for a big bash next time. That's the kind of service we like.
Be the first to Replywas honestly expecting more from this restaurant.
would not say their food is anything of quality for the price you pay. we got a few seafood dishes and some raw oysters. however the only thing i'd recommend is the cocktail I got which was a citrusy champagne based drink. if you are looking for fine dining, I think you should go elsewhere for better quality food for the same price

I was traveling from out of town and heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. My work colleagues and I did not have reservations for Tuesday evening but the hostess that greeted us, Sandra, was very charming and accommodating and was able to help us out. She chatted us up, I am a banker by profession and was pleasantly surprised that she knew about finance. Its always nice to meet someone who knows about my profession!Nice ambiance, food, vibe and of course the views. So it was a great evening, and would repeat. Maybe we can be greeted by Sandra again :)

Come for the food - stay for the views!!!This restaurant has it all - amazingly fresh seafood, extensive cocktails and wine list, killer views of NYC'd iconic bridges and great service.Went a few months ago and was underwhelmed with the service. After positing a Yelp review, the manager (Richard) called me directly to apologize. He was sincere and authentic. He said he appreciated the feedback because it allowed him to improve the service model. And he did! Went for dinner this past week and service was excellent. Our server, Steven, was knowledgeable and attentive. The food and service represented the food quality and service of Jean George. Try these amazing dishes (see my pics)Come for the food and stay for the views!
Be the first to ReplyI am making this review so I don't forget about this place.
Absolutely incredible. I went here for a business lunch and ordered their award-winning burger. Probably one of the best burgers I have eaten in my life. The view was great, the staff was great, and the price was reasonable. I expect to make this place a go-to spot.

We came for Valentine's weekend special menu where you choose between three options for each course meal (4). All of the seafood was of excellent quality and the unique flavor combinations of each dish was beyond sophistication. The service was quick, knowledgeable, and attentive to any dietary accommodations. With its stellar view of the Brooklyn bridge, The Fulton doesn't fall short in appealing to all of the senses. 5-star experience I hope to return again soon!
Be the first to ReplyWOW! Hands down one of the best burgers I've ever tasted.
Great cocktails too! The location is fantastic and the setting is amazing! I will definitely return. While service was good, it could have been better and that is why I didn't give 5 stars for this incredible restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyI loved the vibes here for dinner - floor-to-ceiling
I loved the vibes here for dinner - floor-to-ceiling windows with the water view and string lights all around but place was Extremely difficult to find! Walked around the building several times before getting to the front door. Seafood platter was delicious, whiskey-based cocktails were on point. Server was also super nice!
Be the first to ReplyLet's be clear, the Fulton is expensive! We knew that
Let's be clear, the Fulton is expensive! We knew that going in so we were prepared. We stopped in early in the day because of covid concerns and Sandra took our reservation and made sure we were given a table for two by the window in the indoor patio. It was perfect! The space is beautifully lit, comfortable and elegant. Our Server Aaron was exceptional. He was gracious and helpful as well as observant. We discussed the menu with him and chose crispy calamari salad and oysters. Both delicious but the calamari was clearly the star served with a delicious spicy but not overly spicy dressing. Mains were longevity noodles and swordfish. The noodles had big pieces of deliciously glazed lobster and the swordfish was crisp and buttery. One thing I couldn't quite get over was the $8 Diet Pepsi and $6 club soda, that seemed a little ridiculous given how expensive everything is.I want to give a nod to one of the Maitre D''s Joel, he noticed us looking up at the lights and came over to make sure all was ok. We noticed condensation and were discussing that. He chatted and joked with us as well as telling us a little about the glass blown lights. So go for a date night or special occasion or on a Summers day when the outdoors is open and you will have sweeping views of the glorious bridges and East River!!
