New York's Best Hotels that are most frequently booked by customers of The Ned NoMad New York

When traveling to NYC, I used to regularly stay at the NoMad Hotel which closed during the pandemic and re-emerged as The Ned. I was very excited to try this new iteration as the new design looked exceptional... Well, that is about the nicest thing I can say about my stay.It was awful. I'm very sympathetic to being short-staffed due to Covid. This wasn't a short-staffing issue, it was a customer service issue. Almost every staff I encountered bar a few were downright rude. I hosted business breakfast and lunch at their restaurant. We could not get a cup of coffee to save our lives, it took nearly an hour to get our food and most of our orders were wrong. Not only that, you get the added benefit of being made to feel inferior that you are asking for a menu or a glass of water. Like the other guest review, we stayed during Fashion Week. I was checking in about 1am due to an incredibly delayed flight. I literally couldn't get in the hotel as there were a mob of party goers trying to get into the downstairs club (I guess the hotel shares the same entrance). I finally got the attention of security who realized I was a guest and was able to *physically* pull me inside. When I got to my room, I might as well have just thrown the towel in and gone downstairs & ordered a drink* It was basically like being in the club. My windows were shaking, music was blasting and this went on until 4am. The front desk was not sympathetic. I was also told by another staff member, "Well this is NYC" Listen. I lived in NYC for a decade. I also travel on business here at least 4x a year. Don't pull that on me. Every guest I encountered the next day traded notes on how horrific the night was--it didn't seem to matter if you were on the highest or lowest floor, the noise was intolerable. With all that said, I realize you're a new hotel and kinks are to be worked out, but the condescending way we were treated consistently by staff (minus the doormen and room service who were lovely) was really disappointing. People have a lot of options of where to spend their hard-earned money, and The Ned won't be one of them for me.*Except you are not welcome to go to the club, even as a hotel guest who is spending hundreds of dollars a night.
