The Woods Jupiter Reviews from The Last Year
The atmosphere is nice and drinks are strong.
Street parking is available or free garage parking. The buffalo wings were okay.
The service and food were just ok.
Nothing matched the price point of the food. The food -not just mine- was lacking in salt. It's definitely expensive because of tourists and/or the area it's in. I don't need to go back.
If you want a great smokey old fashioned this is the place
If you want a great smokey old fashioned this is the place but I personally have tasted better food at my mother in law's nursing home. Have to give it 2 stars for the old fashioned.
Delicious but $$$$
Pricey but delicious!!! Parking is easier in the parking garage. It is free for the first two hours and $3.90 for each hour there after. Parking is on the road too but they go quickly. The special the day we went was sea bass for $68. Delicious but $$$$. Lobster bisque was just okay. Felt it should be thicker/creamier in my opinion but nice pieces of lobster. Was on vacation so decided to go for giving it a try but would save for a special occasion. After I was finished my plate was never taken away even when the check was brought, still my plate stayed all the way until we left. Mistake!!!! Would recommend!!
The ambiance is great and they have a wonderful private
The ambiance is great and they have a wonderful private area for parties. Our service and waitstaff were fantastic. Now for the reason I give them 2 stars. The food is not tasty at all! I ordered a skirt steak with chimichurri and a side of Brussels sprouts. I could not eat the steak bc it was cold, and tasteless. Additionally it was extremely rare when I requested medium. To make matters worse, the chimichurri tasted like it was made from canned salsa chopped up and pickled. Our waiter was so kind, very professional, and asked what else I'd like instead. So I went safe and ordered a burger. Again, this wasn't a burger to write home about. It wasn't inedible like the steak, but my bun was microwaved to the point it was a blazing hot sponge that wouldn't cool off for 15 minutes. A lot of salt and Dijon mustard helped, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine here again. They need to explore using salt and seasonings to add flavor to their dishes. My friend ordered a salad and it looked delicious, so if you are forced to eat here maybe try a salad.
Staff doesn't fully understand food allergies and seemed to
Staff doesn't fully understand food allergies and seemed to have an attitude from the managers I saw to the greeters. I wasn't dressed up like others in the restaurant so that might be part of the reason. I own a national company and understand customer service. I get things can be crazy but treat everyone with respect. The person wearing shorts and a tshirt might just be the richest person In the room.

We sat at the bar on Mother's Day and only had drinks but wow! Our bartender was amazing and I really wish I remembered the name of that beautiful lady. She's the best bartender we've ever had and I am 63 and have traveled! Again, we did not eat her just had drinks.
Mother's Day lunch was a treat!
A lovely Mother's Day lunch. Excellent service and food was really delicious and portion size very good. Our server, Sophia, was excellent and made sure we had anything we needed. We live in the area but had never actually been here. We plan to return soon for dinner next time.
Downhill slide
The Woods used to be one of our favorite restaurants, until COVID when it started going downhill. It seems like this restaurant just can’t get it together. For a while it was ok, then they went through a menu revision and it went down a little more. The last time we visited in Fall 2023, it wasn’t great, but ok. Tonight we decided to go for dinner and sadly at this point. We won’t be back. We noticed many items missing on the menu and when we asked our server, she told us that they went through another menu revision 4-5 weeks ago. Menu revision? They took half the things off the menu! Spinach and artichoke dip? Gone. Tacos? Gone. The menu was basically cut in half and honestly had no appeal. We ordered the flatbread which had been one of our favorites but what came out was pizza …. Not flatbread. I ordered the short rib and polenta and after a few bites, had enough. Polenta had no taste and was watery thin. Our table was dirty with breadcrumbs from the flatbread and nobody came to clean it. We had to request for it to be cleaned. We then watched a busboy “clean” the 2 tables next to us that had food all over them. Instead of removing the food first and then spraying and cleaning, he sprayed the tables and pushed the food onto the seats and floor!!! I was completely disgusted and when I mentioned to our server, I was told that they clean the seats at the end of the night. Disgusting to have to watch that … turned off and won’t be back.
Gave it another try.
The manager is a great guy and always makes you feel welcome. Good food, nice crowd and great place to watch a game.
Disappointed.
Lobster bisque was pretty good, the only thing I would think about ordering again, but not my favorite. Oysters Rockefeller had a great flavor but was completely cold.. should have been baked longer. The cheese was barely melted. Had potential to be very very good if they were cooked longer. The bolognese was just ok. I got the sea bass special. I absolutely love Chilean sea bass and while this was a different kind of sea bass, it should have been pretty similar. It did not "melt" and flake apart the way it usually does. The cut was very thick, but there is no way this was worth $70. When I saw the price that is when I really was disappointed. Probably should have tried a filet for that cost. The ambiance is strangely trying to remind you that tiger is sporty w tvs and short skirts and sneakers. Very surprised there wasn't more of a set code for sneakers on the wait staff.. from running shoes to high top converse.. tvs playing sports.. but everything else looking like a different class place and $70 sea bass. I feel for our server and almost don't want to even say anything as he was trying but needs better training. He apologized for the wait for him to come help us but then told us he was late for work and too much information lol.. he didn't tell us there were specials until we said we were ready to order. I specifically asked him about the oysters Rockefeller before ordering and he couldn't really say anything except he thought they looked good (aka he hasn't tried them and can't explain them). I think we expected too much from tiger's place. Don't think I would go again except for happy hour.
The ambience and service were both fantastic.
The food however, was hit or miss my son's. Filet mignon was fantastic, tender and tasty. My chicken piccata wasn't even as good as Olive Garden.
Awful food. Threw up when I got home
Pass go, service awful 275 dollars the chicken picatta smelled like dirty feet. The pasta was buried in water. No taste. My mother and I both got sick when we got home. The waitress horrific. We were there for 3 hours trying to pay our bill. 3 people worst meal in over a decade. Do not go.
you would be better to find an old outback, spend $150 less
you would be better to find an old outback, spend $150 less per person and maybe get an edible meal. the lotus baby iceberg.. suppose to be baby iceberg, heirloom tomatoes, slivered onions, blue cheese dressing (handmade) and bacon.... instead it was a half a head of regular iceberg (not baby), tasteless grape tomatoes (doubt ful on the heirloom claim), unevenly chopped red onions (hint, slivered would have been nicer, red onions are strong), creamy dressing with a a few tiny nubs of blue cheese and the coupe de grace... soy bacon bits.... seriously wow. then my ribeye came, half covered in a gravy.. the waiter told it was the au jus.. was not ordered, was not wanted and look disgustting.. and in what world is an 80$ char grilled ribeye something to dump a bunch of gravy on. they took it back... same steak returned, now cold, glob of butter on top, no firm char.. and a sick burnt sugar chemical taste.... my guess is the sick gravy has some sugar in it, they washed the gravy off and cooked it for a moment.. nasty. also had the brussel sprouts... hint, when thay as big as gold balls, they need to acrually cook for a while... raw and inedible with flabby bacon.. ugh service was excellent, wine list is pretty good.... i was really hungry so ate a bit, enjoyed my wine, learned my lesson... and left. never returning.... hope the nice servers get a job someplace else soon
No Need To Go Back
The service was very disappointing and the food was mediocre at best. Music was way too loud for table conversation. First and last time visiting for us.
Great Place & Good Prices
Love this restaurant! The prices are affordable and the food was great. They have booths with a TV on either side to watch any game you want. A fantastic Sports Bar, Family Outing, Business Meeting, or Couples night out. It’s classy, we will be back again this month
Horrible, will not return
One of the worst restaurant experiences. After being seated we were told they had no draft beer as there was construction next door so their system was out (makes no sense) and taking our order, we waited 20 minutes for a drink and 65 minutes for our starters to be served, and our starters and meal were served at the same time! The kitchen and bar had no idea what they were doing. On top of that, the fish special was $68 for sea bass, which is a cheap fish and it wasn't even good! The rest of our meals were marginal. The service is terrible and the food way, way over priced. With a cocktail each you will spend over $80 pp for marginal bar food. We will not return. It is hard to believe that Tiger Woods would allow his name to be associated with this level of service.
Just like Chili’s but twice the price!
We have been to the woods before, and was generally happy in the past. Last night was disappointing on so many levels. The servers were stretched way too thin and took forever to do the most basic things. They no longer have draft beer? The food was way below average and the prices were extraordinary. We won’t be back.
What happened, used to be a great place.
Been to The Woods several times and loved but with all the fabulous restaurants in Jupiter hadn't visited in a while and oh what a change. Found tin foil in the goat cheese appetizer, received truffle fries instead of regular fries, ordered a steak sandwich minus the tomato but tomato was there anyway. Ordered a bottle of white wine, waiter poured a few glasses and left the rest of the wine on the table rather than in a chilled ice bucket. Finally offered the birthday guest a free dessert and proceeded to charge but it on the bill. Won't be back for a long time. Such a bummer!
Good Grouper Sandwich
It was pretty empty for lunch on a weekday but the service was good. We split a grouper sandwich with a side salad and it was a big dish. Perfect for sharing.

When you sell a reservation that has a prepaid fee AT takes a commission on that fee. This doesn’t really make sense because it’s an expense the seller incurs not part of the profit that is shared.
For example:
Carbone NYC fee to book table for 2 is $108.88
If you sell it for $200 on AT you get $140 from them.
Your net profit is $31 and AT collects $60 in fees.
It would make more sense not to charge commission on the upfront fee as this creates a disincentive and results in higher costs for buyers.

Agreed. Ultimately not addressing this month after month is clearly resulting in a drop in certain venue’s rankings & sales.
