Entertaining experience
Casual setting in a local market. Unique with a number of feathered friends about the outdoor eating area providing entertainment. Servers were good, and the food good, but nothing special I had the ahi tuna which was a bit overcooked. The sauce was good, but didn’t feel it paired well with the mashed potatoes. That being said, my wife loved my potatoes! My wife and daughter liked the pork dishes. All around, a good restaurant
Be the first to ReplyGreat Happy Hour!!
I’ve become a regular at Happy Hour Here and am totally addicted to their Chicken Wings, Pita Salad and Rolls!! The Rock & Roll Sushi Roll: It’s s one of my favorites for dinner. Service is fast and fun! Toby was our server today and she is so awesome at accommodation the kids, and remembers all my favorites we feel right at home! Cool Aloha Vibe and great for groups too! Enjoy!
Be the first to ReplyDelicious food, not the warmest welcome!
We had a reservation for the patio at 5:00, arrived a bit late and lost the reservation. This was our fault, but the hostess staff weren't very kind about it. This was our very first night in Maui but we learned that this was NOT the norm on the rest of the island, we truly had great service the rest of the week. Logan was our server, brand new, but did a great job! The garlic noodles and pork nachos were incredible. Glad we came here but didn't return due to the not so warm welcome at the hostess stand!
Be the first to ReplyGood food and service however….
We come to Maui every year and to Threes several times each visit. The food is consistently good with a friendly staff. We went for happy hour today ( Feb 28) and found the lady at the front who checks you in to be rude and seems to be bothered if you dare ask a question. While we were waiting we observed her rudeness to other patrons as well. This same lady was at the front 2 weeks ago when we came with a group of 10. Others in the group also noted her rudeness and we thought she may just be having a bad day. It appears she is like this most if not all of the time. Just thought management would like to know this.
Be the first to ReplyTriple D fans, this is a must, especially during Happy Hour!!
We had a great meal! My SIL needed a gluten free meal and they had a gluten free menu!! This restaurant was featured on Drive-Ins, Diners & Dives! There are picks of Guy Fieri with the owners. The ones featured on the episode were highlighted on the menu. My husband had the Salmon & Shrimp dish while I had the teriyaki chicken with coconut whipped ube (purple sweet potato) and broccolini. BIL & SIL had salads. The food was excellent. It was kind of busy though.

Spent the day at the beach and excited to hit happy hour at Three’s based on reviews! Sorry to say that the hostess staff have to be the rudest…. And I am from Chicago! The bartender was amazing and he made up for the poor customer experience! Do yourself a favor and invest in your hostess staff - they are the best marketing! The lady with black hair and a hair clip - stay far away from her.
Be the first to ReplyAmazing oysters!
We spent 5 days in South Maui, prepping our own meals and beach picnics most of the time but decided we would treat ourselves to a few happy hours. This place was recommended for oysters by a lovely fellow from Ohana Seafood the (very good) neighbouring restaurant. The front of house (hosts) appeared to be extremely disorganized. We waited outside with a line of others for about 20 minutes before being greeted and added to a 30 minute wait list. Oddly there were several tables open and wait staff seemingly standing around waiting to serve patrons. Several ppl left the line but we persisted and goodness I’m glad we did. Our server Don noted we had been waiting a while and hustled to get us onto the patio and within minutes we were drinking terrific Mai Tais! It was tempting to order loads of plates but we stuck with the oysters (these were the largest oysters I’ve ever eaten!), the panko crusted ahi roll, coconut crusted shrimp, spicy salmon roll and crispy pork belly (i don’t eat pork but my partner said it was good). I would highly recommend going if you have time to wait as the food is absolutely delicious! My partner and I were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and without us saying anything the servers brought us a special brownie to share. We were truly delighted and so grateful for the experience. Mahalo Three’s ❤️
Be the first to ReplyA good stop for Happy Hour
We stopped by Three while we were taking a drive to explore the Kihei area. It was around Happy hour and decided to have some pupus with a drink after strolling the beaches. It's a cozy place, the pupus were very good and the drinks were too. The staff was also very nice. Check it out if you're in the area. It's right behind the Kihei Caffe.
Be the first to ReplySmall plates perfection
You must order these 4 small plates: Coconut crusted shrimp Papaya salad Kahlua pork quesadillas Garlic noodles And ask to be served by Kimberley. She is the best!

Wife and I went bar-hopping and ended up here. We didn't eat a full dinner, just got a couple burgers and it was outstanding. Drinks were great too
Be the first to ReplyFantastic stop for happy hour or lunch/dinner
Great food and service. Kimberly was as sweet as can be! Knowledgeable and fantastic service. Fresh catch sandwich with coconut crust, peanut slaw and cilantro aioli was delicious. Green papaya salad was fresh and yummy. Hibiscus chili drink was perfect. Great hidden spot in Kihei for lunch, happy hour (great deal) or dinner.
Be the first to ReplyDon’t bother
The food is ok. Hostess and waiter were very nice but all other employees we encountered we rude. Very difficult for them to smile. I would not recommend. We were excited to try because our hotel recommended it but we were very disappointed.
Be the first to ReplyGood vibes good food
Food/drink- we got so many things to share. Flat iron steak, spicy chicken, shrimp tempura roll, garlic noodles, Brussel sprouts, shrimp, and fries. Food has good flavors and large portion sizes. Service- our server was attentive and professional. Vibe- great patio areas, lots of indoor seating, and fun vibe.
Be the first to ReplyDecent not great
The staff was not very friendly nor welcoming. The food was ok, nothing to write home about. I would skip this place. Many other options on the island where the service and food are much better.
Be the first to ReplyGreat spot for a fun dinner!
This was a great dinner spot for a foodie looking for something a little different! From the sushi, to the jambalaya to my beer can chicken & brussel sprouts - it was all fantastic! This was one of our favorite dinner spots on the island!
Be the first to ReplyNew favourite in Kihei
Had read about this restaurant for years and finally wanted to try. The location is a bit out of the way, hidden off South Kihei Road in an older mall. The restaurant itself is very inviting but you will definitely want to sit on the deck under the sprawling tree so that you can enjoy the sunset and the many chickens wandering around the parking lot. Servers were all very friendly and eager to please. The menu is skewed toward small plates with an extensive sushi and shashimi offering. The drink menu is solid We thoroughly enjoyed the-ankh crusted ahi roll, bacon fried Brussels, lava roll and hamapeno roll (absolutely the best) The food was extremely reasonably priced Definitely will be back
Be the first to ReplyGreat food and drink with local vibe
Fabulous food!! Want local vibe, quality cuisine plus great service and get it reasonably priced? Three’s is the place!!! Happy Hour exceptional value. If local would go weekly!!!
Be the first to ReplyEXCELLENT!! This is MUST go to!!
Food and drinks are ongoing the best in Maui on my opinion. We have gone here multiple times and it is soooouch better than the other places!! Nachos, fish taco, burger, fries, Brussel sprouts, flatbread salad, just absolutely delicious!! Drinks are also great! And service is the perfect balance of attentiveness!!
Be the first to ReplyStill Great
After eating here a year ago, I looked forward to our return, and we ate here four nights out of two weeks. The happy hour is still phenomenal, with great food/drinks at attractive prices. And apparently the size of the happy hour appetizers are not cut back. One night we also had the beer can chicken. After a couple of appetizers, three of us could not finish this. Service was spectacular, especially a lady named Toby. I suggest that you make a reservation for inside, then try to get a deck table when you arrive.
Be the first to ReplyRelaxing evening
Dined as a group of 7! Booked on the open table site and we’re sat straight away, no deposit needed. Staff were welcoming. We all had small plates really and all were impressed! The wings were another level of spicy though, so be prepared for those! Drinks were great, we all had different cocktails and beers. All in all, enjoyable evening and the bill was around 350 for 7 of us, with all of us having multiple drinks so very reasonable.
Be the first to ReplyTwo thumbs up for happy hour
We visited Three's Bar and Grill for happy hour. Good food and drinks. Friendly service. What more could you want?
Be the first to ReplyTasty Food Found Here
Found this restaurant within walking distance from our condo so thought we’d give it a try. Had the beer can chicken and husband had the Mahi Mahi. Both were delicious. The chicken had great flavor and was moist. Be prepared to pay. Not a cheap place to eat. Conveniently located with great wait staff. We were able to eat on the outside patio which was nice!
Be the first to ReplyWorth making reservations for!
My husband and I and another couple dined here while visiting Maui. We had read about the wonderful reviews so we booked reservations for this restaurant about a month before we arrived. We ate early and had appetizers off the happy hour menu. We ordered the panko crusted ahi roll ($10) and the kalua pork nachos ($9.50) with 1 Mai Tai and 2 beers was $42 before tip. The food was so good. Service was top notch!
