Just share my parents' 50th wedding anniversary celebration during my Hong Kong trip, we decided to have dinner at Tin Lung Heen, the Michelin 1-star restaurant. The best part is that we'll be able to fully appreciate the amazing food since we'll be dining during the day. Trust me, the dishes were absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. And the service? Top-notch! We had our own server who took care of everything. It was such a satisfying experience overall. Highly recommend and definitely back for the dim sum at the day time

Tin Lung Heen was hands down the best restaurant we tried in Hong Kong. We had the pleasure of dining here to celebrate our honeymoon. The restaurant itself is breathtaking. Situated on the 102nd floor, you are guaranteed a beautiful view of Hong Kong's Victoria Harbor. Everything we ordered at Tin Lung Heen was spectacular. Everything we ordered, I'd order again! What sets Tin Lung Heen apart from the other restaurants (besides their food) was the amazing service we received. Every employee that waited our table made sure to make the experience extraordinary. Their attentiveness, and kindness was really memorable. Thank you to the Tin Lung Heen team for making our celebration amazing!

Be the first to ReplyIt was a more than a wonderful dinner on 17 March 2023.
It was a family dinner to welcome a new born family member. The first place it came to our mind for the celebration is Ting Lung Heen. We were lucky to be able to have the Private Dining Room for our dinner. Thanks so much for John's help in the booking (as always). And thanks for Joyce, Connie.... in the follow up on the menu. The dinner was delicious as always. Thank you so much for Ming's service that night. She was so kind, sincere, attentive yet not making us uncomfortable at all. Thanks also goes to the chef and cooking team behind the scene. Much much appreciated.

Great lunch! Can't recommend enough! If you go there alone like me, you can ask staff to order half dishes from the menu. :)

Wow. Just wow. Blown away by the atmosphere, the service, the food. Getting here is such a trip. We came up through the Elements shopping plaza, which involved going up on a series of escalators, going through a glass door, finding an elevator, getting to the Ritz Carlton's special elevator, then taking Ritz Carlton's elevator to the 102nd floor. The food is phenomenal. While also phenomenally expensive, the char siu, braised pork belly, and egg tarts were actually the best I have ever tried in my entire life. Hands down. Char siu was melt-in-your-mouth. Egg tarts were warm, perfectly flaky, perfectly the right amount of sweet...We also came at night and got to enjoy the night view that overlooked HK. So beautiful.I'm so sad because I don't think I will ever come here again because of how expensive it is (each egg tart was ~$8USD approx.), I am glad I did.
Be the first to ReplyExcellent service.
What do you expect at a Ritz..Amazing view of HK.Char siu buns were out of this world. Every dimsum was fresh and delicious. I thought my bill would be more but it's reasonable for a 5 stars hotel. This is not ordinary dimsum, it is amazing dimsum ! Going up to 102nd floor my ears clogged but the elevator ride was so fast..we were up there in less than 1 minute. Definitely a positive dining experience.

For dim sum, we made our way over to the Kowloon side and started off our day on the 102nd floor of the Ritz Carlton. Part of the cachet of eating at any of the restaurants up here, I'm sure, is the view - but sadly it was full-on cloudy when we were up here, so all one can see by a window seat (which is where we were seated) was an endless wall of gray. Getting seated for our 11:30 AM reservation wasn't difficult at all, and even by the time we had finished eating, the restaurant was only about half full or so. I will say that relative to our other upscale dining experience this time around in Hong Kong (at Lung King Heen), the decor here feels a lot more grand and ornate, perhaps aided by the higher ceilings as well. Whether it's the Chinese-infused design or the lengthy walls of wine bottles, the decor is definitely aimed to impress, but at least for dim sum, it was still more casual, and I didn't feel underdressed despite showing up in (relatively) casual wear. The service here was pretty solid, although compared to LKH across the bay, I did think that the English-language service was definitively a step below what we experienced over there. That said, the menus were in English and informed us well enough of what we were interested in eating. The food itself here is very expertly crafted, but for a dim sum meal, I felt like I needed to be really impressed to be convinced that the substantial premium paid was worth it, and while there's no doubt that the quality is very good, I'm not quite sure it made it. The steamed shrimp dumplings we had were very good, with the dumpling skin definitely richer and more textured than your average dumpling, but given the cost of it, I felt like we paid more simply because of the unnecessary gold flake that topped each dumpling. The minced wagyu dumplings were a bit better on a relative basis - definitely heavier and thicker, but the flavor of the meat was on-point and worked really well with a pan-fried skin. The abalone that we had was very good, but the pastry it was served in was a bit on the sweeter side, which made it a bit of an odd flavor profile that detracted away from the deliciousness of the seafood. The braised bean curd was also very well-prepared, with a light sauce served with it to impart more flavor onto the roll without overwhelming the delicate wrapper. There are plenty of things we didn't try here, so I wouldn't mind coming back and giving Tin Lung Heen another try. That said, I felt like some of the execution wasn't quite there, and the dim sum, while being quite good on balance, didn't quite feel like it was the best value proposition. Nonetheless, it's certainly worth a visit, and see if the weather forecast is cooperating before making a reservation!

Located in the Ritz Carlton Hong Kong on the 102nd floor is already nothing short of breathtaking. If you are not afraid of heights and good food this is your place. They do not offer dim sum for dinner typically but they made an exception for us because we love dim sum. It was spectacular.... taste, presentation, the whole nine yards. The waiters and waitresses are very attentive will not let your glass get less than half full. We also ordered the Wagyu beef with peppers and it couldn't have been better. As a side we got some dan dan noodles that were spectacular. If you are In Hong Kong and don't mind paying for top notch food and service please do yourself a favor and visit here!
Be the first to ReplySo far my favorite upscale restaurant in Hong Kong.
Elegant atmosphere, beautiful views, incredible decor, BUT the best part was the food!! Amazing and unique. Their crab on a shell deep fried, accompanied with ginger fried crisps was sooo tasty! Best dish i have had to date on this trip. And don't forget dessert... i am a custard fan so i ordered the egg custard tarts when I placed my order (keep in mind that they they take 20 minutes to prepare). They were a great way to end the meal. Delicious but not too sweet, They also gave us a few petit fours at the end of the meal. Their sesame-almond bite was so delicious that I asked if I could purchase some. The answer is no, but they were so kind to just give me a few gratis!! Lovely service, terrific atmosphere, delicious food!!!
Be the first to ReplySimply superb.
Went alone and they guided me to order half-orders so that I can try multiple dishes without imposing any of the much higher priced set menus. True Michelin star in their service. Won't even comment on the food. Simply sublime sensations to the palate.

Two stars Michelin restaurant located inside the Ritz Carlton hotel. This place is awesome with a luxurious decoration. Service is outstanding. The Chinese food is really one of the most delicate and creative. A perfect moment of gastronomie!
Be the first to ReplyTing Lung Heen is on the 102nd floor of the Ritz Carlton.
Upon arrival, take the elevator to the 103rd then take the escalator down to the restaurant. The restaurant ambience is dramatic with an amazing view coupled with a sparkly interior. When you walk out of the bathroom, you see tons of colorful lights on the walkway and a lot of shiny crystals lining the walls.Service was good but not great. As an amuse bouche, they provided a plate of pickled vegetables but with no explanation. On the plus side, the waiter did order us half portions for some of the dishes based on his assessment as we ordered quite a bit for two. Deep fried shrimp toast was by far my favorite dish of the night followed closely by the bbq pork. The shrimp toast was fried bread topped with filleted shrimp cooked perfectly. As far as the pork, I have never had chinese BBQ pork so tender. It had a wonderful sweet crust and melted in your mouth.
