Scruffy and disorganised
The weather has turned bad and the cable car has stopped. People are crowded into the cafe waiting for the replacement bus. It's been and hour so far. So of course they closed the café. Parents with kids can't get them a drink. The place i

Visited after ascending in cable car. Although more than 4 hours before closing all the vegetarian options had sold out. I do occasionally eat fish so had to resort to a salmon wrap which came with a few crisps. Wife was happier with her classic bagu
The rock of Gibraltar is such a dope experience.
We drove in and parked in the cable car parking lot. You have the option of walking down the mountain. However, we didn't know that till we got to the top and had already purchased round trip cable car tickets. Seeing the monkeys is awesome. The

We took the advice from Rick Steve's book and bought our cable car tickets at the booth to the left side before going through Gibraltar customs. It includes a shuttle bus to the cable car. This worked out well but the bus stop to catch the bus
Great tram ride to the top.
Grease fell on my partners shoe and she had to throw them out. Watch out from above when you're on the tram car. Monkeys were aggressive so beware - signage tells the truth!

Heading out to a Tea, sandwiches and scones 1:30 pm shore excursion. You're lucky if you get Shannon as your bus driver/ tour guide solo. Narrow roadways and drive ways to maneuver plus speak at the same time. Tunnels, imaginary demarcation l
Bad organized service
It's very badly organized. Had to wait 30 minutes and then we left because nobody took our order at the table. They just told us "5 minutes".
Horrible place
It's dark, dingy, the décor is ugly, the staff are moody, it ruins the magnificent Rock experience (this used to be a lovely Café)
Appalling service
Manageress was rude and more concerned at barking to her staff than those customers waiting to be served! Prices on the menu were wrong.
Overall poor
Poor food and poor staff (who did not know what they were doing). Amazing views! But seeing as it’s the only place at the top and you cannot take food up there due to the monkeys/apes, you are trapped and they can get away with being poor. Would r
Below average service + warm milkshakes. Solid views.
The location is lovely. But the service is really not good. Service is also very slow. They also make milkshakes with no ice - so they are warm (not ideal after hiking up the rock!). The mezze platter was okay. It’s also annoying that they bring th

Went into the cafe and we sat down. I spotted a waitress and asked her if we needed to go and order and she said "the waitress will come to you for your order". We waited and no one appeared, then the waitress we spoke to came over and sta

We've been to Gibraltar quite a few times but up to now we had no interest in visiting this ugly chunk of limestone albeit bathed in sunshine most of the year. This time we decided to take a tour. We've moved into bucket list territory, y

AppointmentTrader is a community-driven platform where users can exchange their reservations or leverage their personal relationships with Top Rock Cafe Gibraltar. Buyers can make informed decisions using automated seller ratings, which reflect past transactions and reliability.
Each posting on AppointmentTrader shows you which user submitted it and along with that provides a trackrecord of that user which indicates how much experience

If there is no user posting that fits your schedule, you can bid on your preferred time.
Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Top Rock Cafe Gibraltar at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Top Rock Cafe Gibraltar page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* DazzlingStretch76, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* DazzlingStretch76 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to DazzlingStretch76 for any questions Peter may have as DazzlingStretch76 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* DazzlingStretch76 now uses their connections at Top Rock Cafe Gibraltar to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If DazzlingStretch76 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, DazzlingStretch76 receives the $200 reward which is credited to DazzlingStretch76's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Top Rock Cafe Gibraltar!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
