Located within the beautifully engineered St.

Be warned, and stay away
This was a horrible experience from the outset. The host could not find a reservation that the concierge at the hotel I was staying at made. They made no attempt to be helpful. I called the concierge at my hotel, and they were able to talk to the

I finally got to try this place, and it was excellent.
I'd imagine at night it's gorgeous - I'll have to come back to experience Bar Tre Dita for this. We sat in the main dining room and passed the pasta making window, which was cool. You can definitely tell that the pastas are handmade in

Everything is nigh perfect! The food was absolutely amazing, so was the service. The ambiance is understated yet so elegant without the unnecessary pretensions of fine dining restaurants. I would love to revisit if I'm in the city again.
We were seated at 7:15.
We ordered drinks which didn't arrive until 45 minutes later. That is totally unacceptable. The service was inattentive, we had to ask to get our sparkling water refilled. The view is great, the food is good, especially the pasta, but frankly

Completely infatuated with this restaurant.
Beautiful ambiance and view from where we were seated, pasta was delicious and fresh, lamb chops were cooked to perfection, and drinks were amazing. Service was attentive and I had a great birthday dinner! We had late reservations on a Saturday night
Loving Tre Dita
I was a little leery having heard how this is the hottest place in town, impossible to get a table, such a beautiful room, etc... too often these places don't live up to the hype. Not here! Tre Dita is hitting on all cylinders. Wow! Absolute
Tre Dita crash and burn!
My recent dining experience at Tre Dita on 17 May was profoundly disappointing, especially in light of a previous positive experience in September of last year. While the food was excellent, the service was unacceptable, marred by what appeared to be

Dont waste your time here
We went to Tre Dita for our anniversary, hoping for a special evening. Instead, it turned into a complete disaster. We had requested a window table. When we arrived, they showed us to a table in a hallway. After some conversation , they moved us to

Excellent time and experience
The wife made the reservations, party of 4. We Valet the car $38. This is an Italian Tuscany dinning experience. I like how the elevator system has 5 options for you to pick on the touch screen. Once selected it tells you what elevator to go too,
Branzino makes another welcome appearance
If I'm not mistaken, this space in the glitzy St. Regis Hotel at 401 East Wacker Drive in downtown Chicago, on the south bank of the Chicago River, between Michigan Avenue and Du Sable Lake Shore Drive, has been occupied by other restaurants sin
Wonderful
I was worried that Tre Dita wouldn't live up to the hype, especially after playing the reservation game that is annoying. You have to log into Open Table 7 days prior at midnight. I tried at exactly midnight and the only reservation available
$70 for a side of mushrooms is extortion!
Let me start by saying we LOVE the St. Regis but Tre Dita is the most pretentious restaurant I have been to in a long time. Let me tell you my story!... My husband and I decided to share the porterhouse ($290). It came with a gorgeous arugula salad a

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Tre Dita Chicago at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Tre Dita Chicago page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.

1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $5.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $5.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FluffyStar64, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $5 bid.
* FluffyStar64 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FluffyStar64 for any questions Peter may have as FluffyStar64 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FluffyStar64 now uses their connections at Tre Dita Chicago to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FluffyStar64 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FluffyStar64 receives the $5 reward which is credited to FluffyStar64's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Tre Dita Chicago!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
