Wanted to love it.
Went out of my way to get there. Big fan of Italian sandwiches and thought this one would be great. Quite disappointing. Bread to filling ratio was terrible (way too much bread). If the bread was good, I may have less of an issue but it tasted like day-old bread, which made it all the worse. Had to combine the filling of both sides onto one side (creating 1/2 a sandwich to make it at least palatable. The L'artusi guys can do better.

Amazingly decadent and delicious cinnamon rolls! The staff are super friendly also and seem to get along well with one another.

Love their food, but waiting for 2 hours for delivery and still missing.... They need to get their service in order and retrain their team/reevaluate delivery partner.

Via Porta is a good grab and go option if you want something less formal but still capturing the flavors of the team. Here's what you should know:1. Yes, the sandwich prices can feel steep but I usually get about 3/4 of the way through before I start feeling full.2. They have fridge where you can buy the soups and sauces for other meals that you might be making.3. Coffee and pastries are also excellent.4. Standing room only with one table outside

Charming little provisions shop with coffee, sandwiches, and fresh baked goods to-go. Owned by L'Artusi team. They even sell L'Artusi sauces and meal kits. I tried the Huckleberry Pear Poptart and was wholly impressed. I didn't try any of the sandwiches, but they looked legit. I wish that the sandwich menu was larger and that it included more vegetarian options.

I was excited because L'artusi is one of my favorite restaurants. Ordered the chicken saltimbocca sandwich. Flavors were fine, but the chicken was dry and not crispy as advertised. Not worth the high price.

Because I'm such a fan of the L'Artusi team I was super excited to try Via Porta. It's a tiny little spot right next door to B'Artusi with some outdoor seating. They sell pastries, sandwiches, salads, and even have jarred versions of the sauces from L'Artusi. From the start I could tell things were a little chaotic. There was a lot of staff moving nonstop behind the counter and a lot of customers coming in and out. We ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca sandwich, the mattanza tuna sandwich, the ribollita soup, pumpkin chocolate chip loaf, and the olive oil loaf. Somehow we ended up with a sunchoke Caesar salad and they accidentally gave us two chicken sandwiches instead of a tuna. They were quick to give us the right sandwich once we pointed it out. The two winners were the chicken sandwich and the olive oil loaf. Everything else was just ok. I'm excited to come back and try more of the sandwiches and other new items coming soon as they get more into the swing of things.

The L'artusi team just opened their second new spot of the year, a few doors down from B'artusi, the other new one. This one is a grab and go spot, with just standing room and a few tables set up outside. They have pastries, salads and sandwiches, plus stuff to cook at home.I tried the Cacio e Pepe Scone ($6), which was great, as was the Huckleberry Pear Poptart ($5), but the real showstopper was the Chicken Saltimbocca Sandwich ($14.75). This is a super satisfying sandwich with crispy chicken, spicy capicola, arrabbiata sauce, provolone and mozz. If this is any indication, the rest of the sandwiches will be excellent too and I'm looking forward to returning to try more of them.
