A great steakhouse.
Excellent food, service and ambience. Competitive pricing but highest quality. My go to restaurant.

The food was great and the staff were nice and my daughter enjoyed them singing happy birthday to her.
Be the first to ReplyVery boring unimpressive, decor, food, and service.
The waiters have personalities of Yesterdays oatmeal. I had a Zinfandel by the glass that wasn't very good. I ordered the filet mignon, which was cooked perfectly with peppercorn sauce but unfortunately, not that tasty. Rather have them just cook a steak plain and request administration have sauces on the side. Even the mashed potatoes and broccoli were just average. For the money I block down the street American cut is a much better choice.

Our waiter Sammy was super charming and made our experience all the more memorable.

A professor once told me that none of my photographs should be supplementary material; each photo should be strong enough to stand alone. I believe the same is true at a restaurant, for each dish being served. The bread was cold and stiff, and the butter was unspreadable. I find it extremely saddening when a restaurant can justify beginning guests' meals with disappointing bread. The bread should never be supplementary material, especially since it's a first impression. The steak was fine but chewy and lacking flavor. I wish I had enjoyed the meal more.
Be the first to ReplyWolfgang's Steakhouse offers a well-balanced experience
Wolfgang's Steakhouse offers a well-balanced experience that blends tradition and quality that complements the dining experience. As soon as you enter, the ambiance creates a classic and welcoming atmosphere, reminiscent of the iconic steakhouses synonymous with dining excellence for decades. The interior, with its rich wood paneling and soft lighting, evokes a sense of timeless elegance that complements the dining experience. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable, providing recommendations that enhance the meal without feeling intrusive. While rooted in traditional steakhouse fare, the menu impresses with its execution. The steaks are the undeniable stars of the show, aged to perfection with a flavor depth and tenderness that speak to the expertise behind their preparation. The side dishes complement the mains with skillful seasoning and presentation. All in all, Wolfgang's Steakhouse stands out as a beacon of culinary excellence. It marries traditional steakhouse values with impeccable service and a finely curated dining experience.
Be the first to ReplyWolfgang's is consistent and delicious.
When you order medium rare, guess what? It's medium rare. We ordered the bacon and wedge salad to start. The house steak sauce actually goes amazingly with the bacon. And the wedge salad comes with blue cheese on the side, which also goes quite well with the bacon. For the steak, we shared the Cajun bone-in Tomahawk. Perfectly cooked and amazingly crusted. The service was attentive without being pushy. The timing of the food was well spaced out. I would only add that the hostesses could be friendlier. Overall, I'd recommend coming to Wolfgang's if you're looking for a good steak.
Be the first to ReplyI came here with my parents as they wanted a steak dinner.
The three of us ordered the steak for two, mashed potatoes, and spinach. All were delicious, and I'm not a steak person. Also, we only finished half of the steak and 2/3's of the sides so they give you plenty of food. Note: there were a lot of families with babies and children in case you want a nice meal with the whole family. We're still dreaming about that steak!

Before I start my first bad review I want to start by saying I have been here a few times and it was always great steak , but yesterday on 10/24/23 I went with my husband for our anniversary and it was not a good meal or service, the steak was super salty I waited for the server and he didn't come back around I asked another server and they said they will get him he never showed up so my husband just ate 3 pieces and I ate one because we were hungry with the two sides we ordered which were good, finally the server came back to get our plates and he asked if we wanted the steak we left to go and I said no that it was so salty we couldn't eat it, his response was that happens sometimes, wow! We just left and left a great tip that he did not deserve
Be the first to ReplyDon't be fooled by the white tablecloths, and wood
Don't be fooled by the white tablecloths, and wood panelling, this is a very mediocre restaurant that is trying to coast on the Wolfgang Puck name. The waiter leaned against my chair as he took our orders. He was friendly, but lacking the professionalism one would expect from a premiere NYC steakhouse. For the wine, I was ushered into a tiny glass room where an employee tried to sell me enormous bottles of wine as if they were used cars "This one is $1,200, but I can let you have it for $900". The food itself is lackluster and mis-portioned. Do yourself a favor and enjoy one of the many other fine restaurants in the area -- and, in the process, send a message to those who would lazily foist a franchise name on potential diners.
Be the first to ReplyThis place has the most offensive service it's actually
This place has the most offensive service it's actually insane. We walked in at 8:30pm on a Friday. There were 3 women standing at the checkin desk. Not a single one could pickup their head to acknowledge us. We walked to the bar, sat down got the exact same treatment from the bar. I've been to every Wolfgang's in NYC and never had a bad experience. This one is a terrible impression on the brand. The servers saw what terrible treatment we received and really tried to compensate. But honestly the experience was already ruined. I will never return.

Over priced, over rated, loud and difficult to conduct a business. Waiter poured wine and water while adding 2 of all slides on his own to bump up the already inflated check. Literally one extra of each side was left on table. Tourist trap. Avoid. So many good places in Tribeca.

Wifey and I decided to go out to the City tonight to have dinner. What a GREAT CHOICE. Enjoyed absolutely everything. Thank you staff for the wonderful service. Definitely returning.
Be the first to ReplyNOT recommend for Asian, very rough service.
We had a business dinner here hoping to have a good time with our new business partner. The server was rude, and said insulting words to our business partner. The server was also very rude to my colleague. The steak was under cooked a bit, but with the unpleasant service made it the worst steakhouse experience I've ever had in nyc.

What can I say I've eaten here five or six times service is the best steaks are the best they're not bashful on price so if you're looking for a bargain this is not the place for you but if you're looking for a consistent meal from the Canadian bacon to the cream spinach to the onion rolls great wine list again not bashful on price but you have four people waiting on you. If you're looking to oppress out of towners, this is the place to go very consistent.
Be the first to ReplyFive star experience with great selection of steaks.
Only recommendation is to maybe add a Wagyu option.

Got charged $108 dollars for 3 burgers (over 35 per) here the other night. absurd. Burgers ordinary and walkers bubbys Greenwich street tavern or frankly any other burger making resto place in Tribeca has same quality for half the price. wowaaaa
Be the first to ReplyThe steak is really huge, can feed 2 adults.
Taste soft and juicy. The Cesar salad is also good. But there are some guests speak so loudly. And the waitress walk fast looked so busy. This might because the restaurant usually very busy at lunch and dinner time.
Be the first to ReplyNasty service.
The hostess pretended like she didn't see our reservation at first. The food was good but they were very snobby and nasty and it ruined the experience. Felt like they were trying to rush us out as well.
Be the first to ReplyThe food was nothing special for the price you pay.
It's giving Outback Steakhouse on steroids
Be the first to ReplyThis was not a good experience.
To start with, my wife and I stood for an uncomfortable minute while the gentleman behind the maitre d desk completely ignored us while he was speaking on the phone. He actually turned his back to us. After a minute of just standing there, a very friendly woman greeted us and sat us. To make matters worse, the waiter asked me to KEEP MY FORK after he cleared up my Caesar salad! At these prices, is it too much to ask to get a fresh fork??!Last.y, the place was a bit dingy and just depressing overall. The Caesar salad appetizer was excellent and the bread was good as were the drinks, The steak was very tough, greasy and overly salty. We will not be back. American Cut is a few blocks away and is a much more welcoming and better restaurant.
Be the first to ReplyVery lowkey spot full of older men at the bar lol.
The food was yummy and they had great service at our table.
Be the first to ReplyStellar.
Try the bacon, creamed spinach, and the porterhouse paired with something like a Stag's Leap Artemis and you're good.
Be the first to ReplyI had the worst Wolfgang experience tonight.
Porterhouse unusually had too much fat that should have been trimmed. The quality of the meat was also unacceptable. Service not attentive. Will be looking for some other places. And I saw the waiter checking how much I tipped him lol how petty is he.. Just be better, professional, and passionate at what you do.
