Yunta Charlotte Reviews
Best Peruvian Japanese fusion restaurant in Charlotte!
Although this is my first review but I have been to Yunta for numerous times and they never disappoint. Today we went for a brunch and had the Chicha Morada(Purple corn juice) & Almantine for drinks. Loved the subtle flavors of the Almantine which was not too sweet either. For starters we ordered the Shrimp Croqueta which was good. For mains we ordered the Lucuma Toast(Peruvian French toast with a twist) & Chaufa(Peruvian fried rice with chicken & shrimps). If you like French toast then I would definitely recommend you to try their Lucuma toast which is a notch above. The texture, flavor and looks are a 10/10. Chaufa was good too. Most of the other times that I visited this place I tried the Pulpo Anticuchero(Grilled Octopus with Andean potatoes) which never fails and delicious Ceviche(They have multiple combinations of it including a Vegetarian one). Service is always excellent.
Awesome Peruvian - Asian fusion food
Awesome Peruvian - Asian cuisine. We loved the pork belly as an appetizer yummy. The main dishes were absolutely delicious. The restaurant has a fantastic atmosphere and outstanding service.
Food and service were so good
We were a party of six so this was a perfect family style experience. My favorite dishes were the ceviche, scallops. The filet mignon skewers were so yummy. The meat was cooked perfect medium rare. The atmosphere was intimate and nice with the background being a greenery and the tables had little lamps. The service was amazing. We had one dish that took a little long to get there so the manager comped that dish. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
Unique and Delightful
We were a party of 11 with adults, teens and a tween. We were there to celebrate my husband's 80th birthday, and we could not have made a better choice. First, the service was outstanding. Kenneth could not have been more helpful at shepherding us through the exciting menu. He offered helpful suggestions on amounts and ways to obtain the proper level of heat in some of the sauces. He also explained the benefits of sharing dishes to make the most of the experience. The food was excellent and beautifully prepared and presented. My daughter's scallops were perfect. Portions were generous. We had so much fun trying several starters and delicious mains. Desserts were wonderful as well. Many people have raved about this restaurant. Having tried it myself, I agree whole-heartedly. I should also note that the atmosphere is very chic and pleasant.

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to Yunta Charlotte at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the Yunta Charlotte page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* MaternalRecord73, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's bid.
* MaternalRecord73 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to MaternalRecord73 for any questions Peter may have as MaternalRecord73 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* MaternalRecord73 now uses their connections at Yunta Charlotte to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If MaternalRecord73 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, MaternalRecord73 receives the $200 reward which is credited to MaternalRecord73's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at Yunta Charlotte!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
