Be the first to ReplyPhenomenal baked goods, savory pastries and the Caesar
Phenomenal baked goods, savory pastries and the Caesar salad is incredible. I've tried a quarter of the menu and it's so savory and delicious. I love the incorporation of smoked salmon in sandwiches and croissants, will keep coming back for more !
Be the first to ReplyGood prices! Great ambience and amazing service from Pablo.
Definitely we will coming back !

WOW the Hazelnut Croissant was A-MAZING, 5 stars alone for that pastry. U MUST GET ONE. Iced latte was gooood. Challah French Toast was just okay. Wish I had ordered their bagel or baguette instead of the toast (I now know for next time).

Completely exceeded my expectations!!! Seriously obsessed with the food here! We started off with mocha lattes with almond milk which were amazing. We had the nova on a sesame bagel. The bagel was crispy on the outside and chewy and flavorful inside. The cream cheese was so fresh and lox was not overly salty. The addition of pickled red onions and crispy capers made this sandwich bomb! We also ordered an everything bagel and fluffy scrambled eggs. For dessert, we had double chocolate babka and I can say I'm addicted! Rich cocoa filling in the most fluffy dough with a crunchy exterior. Service was great! Table was ready at the exact time of the reservation. Def coming back for brunch and to stock up on bread!

Friendly environment with various types of drinks and foods including pastries and sandwiches. The workers are really friendly and the environment seems relaxed. The cheese danish was not crazy good it was just average. I also got the matcha latte and it was pretty good

had high hopes for this bakery because saw the crowd outside and reviews from the infatuation. the hosts outside the store had poor attitude and was sightly demeaning to our party. we waited 20 minutes just standing before realizing the outdoor seating area was available. the almond croissant was very stale and not flakey at all. the rest of the bakery's were average - nothing i would come back for.

Order ahead was super easy and it was really busy, so glad that's an option. The cookies are the best I've ever had, especially the flourless chocolate almond one. Choc chip also huge and soft and delicious. Sourdough grilled cheese and tomato bisque also amazing. The salmon bacon BLT was great, and my wife didn't love the Caesar but more of a preference thing than quality. Yucca fries also insanely good. All the bakery items are soft, flaky, and just perfect. A must stop before several hours of wynwood wandering.
Be the first to ReplyJust a phenomenal bakery.
Can get really busy so try to come early if you can before the lunch rush.

Be warned- apparently about a month ago Zaks no longer allows food to be eaten in their outdoor area except coffee and pastries. No take out option. Cannot eat inside if you have a dog. None of this is on the website. We've gone to Zaks for years for Sunday brunch, I guess we are done and very annoyed.
Be the first to ReplyThe services is good.
They staff is very friendly. We have coffee (7/10), bread with butter (delicious and fresh), the bagel with salmon was pretty good. But the breakfast sandwich was ok. I didn't really like the combination between salty and sweet. The ambiance is nice too. It's cool to see how they bake!

Randomly cancelled my delivery order after I had been waiting quite a bit. So unprofessional and sh*tty. I'll never order or go to this place again. Shame. Because I actually enjoy the product. But obviously my order wasn't important to them.

Excellent and delicious baked goods and sanwiches at very affordable prices. The place is usually packed, but thats only because of how fantastic this bakery is. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Be the first to ReplyI think every city has THE bakery that everyone raves
I think every city has THE bakery that everyone raves about, and I think Zak The Baker is that bakery for Miami. I came on a weekday morning and there was already a line out the door for take-out. I've got to say, the store is so cute, I love how many colors there are on the outside and its in such a great location surrounded by all the Wyndown art.I ordered the Double Chocolate Babka. I wanted to get the Kouigan-Amann as well but they didn't have it and the server didn't know what it was which was surprising because its the third bestseller according to Yelp. Either way, I did enjoy the babka, my first one ever, as the layers of the pastry gave it a very interesting and fun texture. I also appreciated the crumble on the top and chocolate chunks. It kind of reminds me of eating a bread with nutella all over it, except this is the more adult and sophisticated version.Overall, pretty good pastries. Would definitely come back again. +1 for the good vibes, I sat on their outside patio for a bit and I saw so many interesting characters with their vehicle of choice blasting music for everyone to enjoy and celebrate.

Be the first to ReplyThe quality of food has gone down.
Also they let dogs inside. It's a bakery/ cafe they bake and have food close to ppl. Not a good idea and it's against state law to have dogs inside restaurants. Especially dogs over 100lb slobbering all over. Dogs were not service animals. Terrible.
Be the first to ReplyThis bare bones bakery has been a staple of the Wynwood
This bare bones bakery has been a staple of the Wynwood neighborhood and still going strong.Orthodox only in its ownership it's a rough and tumble aesthetic and an รผber gen z clientele.Tyler was a sweetheart at the register and everyone there knows there stuff and this the lines out the door.I just got coffee because I'm careful with carbs otherwise the food is amazing even to look at.

Fabulous, but go early because it gets very busy/ Everything was delicious: Bagels were delicious, Breakfast Sandwich, Breakfast Plate and Salmon bacon were all incredible. We took pastries to go: Chocolate Chip Coolies, Almond Croissant, Plain, Croissant, Pain Au Chocolat and they were all delicious. The only thing I personally didn't love was the Mushroom Danish but others liked it better.I also wish they had gluten free items, one member of our party has celiac and had to leave because of all the flour that was airborne. This is in a bakery and everyone else enjoyed that aspect. We will be back!
Be the first to ReplyThe best bread ever, so is their tuna salad .
Obsessed Service amazing, always so busy but ambiance is great wynwood all the way !
Be the first to Replyinteresting experience.
the food is good, and large variety of pastries is impressive.but the staff... they're nice, but the lack of professionalism... the service you get after you pay is just mediocre.
Be the first to ReplyNot everyone is welcome at this place especially parties
Not everyone is welcome at this place especially parties greater than 4. We where there for 30+mins and they could not and would not seat us even though we were willing to split the group. Many tables had more than the allotted seats and they were fine but for some reason the rules only applied to us. We were not treated correctly and will be very difficult to get us to buy the product or go to this place ever again.

I came here on an early weekend morning and was pleasantly surprised with all the available options. We sat down for dine-in and our waitress was very attentive throughout our time there. The salmon bacon BLT sandwich was really good. They make their own bacon using just salmon, and it was super unique. Very crispy and light!I ordered a box of different pastries which included: almond croissant, chocolate chip cookie, guava cheese, apple turnover, and cinnamon roll. Everything was above average and fresh - expected from this bakery! Everyone who snacked on the treats said positive things.
Be the first to ReplyMeh, it's a cute spot and has an edgy style to it.
We were immediately sat down... by the bathroom lol, was told there was no where else to sit even though there were clearly other tables empty on the other side of the bakery. Had the BLT croissant and my friend the breakfast sandwich, they were both pretty good and came at a reasonable time, neither one of us could finish our drinks though. The hibiscus lemonade lacked flavor, it was just sour and my friend's iced chai latte was overpowered by the ginger. My main issue with this place was the lack of customer service! Had to essentially hunt down our server multiple times, to add something to the order, for the check, to pick up the check, to get napkins... we had to add an extra 30 minutes to our parking meter from how long it was taking just to get someone's attention! Not once did anyone come to ask if everything was okay or anything else was needed. The table behind us had questions about the food they ordered and I witnessed the biggest eye roll followed by a tone of attitude. It truly makes a difference how you treat your customers!
