Cafe Reyes Reviews from The Last Year
Absolute lovely place, great service, amazing pizzas, not
Absolute lovely place, great service, amazing pizzas, not enough meat but definitely a vibe with friends

Came here on a Sunday evening after spending the day at the beautiful Point Reyes National Seashore. Located on highway one, in a little town is this gem with reasonably priced pizza and drinks! (also raw oysters if that's you) Got a beer for $6, tomatoes with fresh mozzarella (seemed like they were roma tomatoes, was expecting something like an heirloom tomato), and two pizzas: Miwok and Palomarin. Heard a lot of people ordering after us ordering the same as well. The pizzas were very different. They both had the same sauce and pizza, but the Palomarin's pizza crust was wayyyy thinner and slightly undercooked. Had to drag each slice onto the place and cut/eat with a fork and knife. the Miwok pizza was great! the pizza wasn't as thin and was able to hold the sauce and cheese better. The salami they use is also great. overall, a cute and chill place, and would recommend coming here if you have the chance!
Checked in at 2:35 PM.
They were closing at 3:30 PM. We were a family of four looking for a quick bite and the vibe was, we want to go home, not serving you, you can get Togo. There was a five top in front of us, and two more four top groups behind us. Everyone was turned away. Such a shame. Manager was clueless and probably lost $400 to 500 $ in revenue. Last time I checked, hospitality cannot afford to be choosy. Such a shame for a inexperienced hostess not to be able to read the room. We will not be back.
Wood-fired Pizza!!
Cafe Reyes may be the best wood-fired pizza we've eaten! The pizza choices, all regionally named, are delicious. When coupled with any of their salads, you have a scrumptious lunch! The staff is friendly and welcoming which enhances one's dining experience. Thanks, Cafe Reyes!
Oysters were delicious! Maybe I didn't order the right
Oysters were delicious! Maybe I didn't order the right thing, but the bolinas (mushroom and arugula) pizza was far too soggy. Definitely a knife and fork situation, as it would fall apart if I tried to pick it up. It felt like I was just eating the toppings together since it wouldn't stick to the pizza. Good flavors overall, but just not what I expected. I'd some back and just stick to oysters or try something else on the menu, but what they're really known for are the wood fired pizzas! So bummed about the experience but maybe someone can advise what to get next time?
It's hard to imagine a better overall dining experience
It's hard to imagine a better overall dining experience than kicking back with pizza on a sunny day at Cafe Reyes following a mondo hike or bike ride. I only knock off one star because I wish they put as much thought into the intricacy and variety of their non-pizza options. The one green salad is dominated by blue cheese (albeit local) so if you're not in a carb mood, your options are limited and less imaginative. But what they do well, they do very well, and the patio is truly a heavenly atmosphere.
Great food, ambiance, and prices.
Great casual place in Point Reyes Station. Very nice ambiance, service, and quite reasonable prices. Highly recommend getting here early. We came at 10 minutes to 5PM (they open at 5) and decided to walk around. Came back at 5:20 and the place was packed and had a 45 minute wait. But I can see why it's such a popular place.
This spot checks the vibe box especially if it's sunny out.
It's the perfect spot to grab a beer and some food on their deck post hike. The food is pretty good, but not amazing. The menu essentially consists of a bunch of pizzas and a few salads. My rationale for not giving 5 stars is that the pizzas are a bit soupy as in the sauce is a little too watery. If they could figure that out this place would truly be perfect.
Decided to try this place after a long day of hiking.
What a treat! The pizza was perfect--we had the Farallon--with a nice crisp, yet doughy crust and great ingredients. The tomato, spinach, and mozzarella salad was unexpectedly good, and the tossed greens salad was also very good. Nice, inexpensive wines and good beers as well. The service was fast and friendly. This place alone is almost worth the drive from the Bay Area just to have dinner.
Funky and comfortable space with crunchy, organic salads

Cafe Reyes! Great spot for delicious foods, in Pt Reyes
Cafe Reyes! Great spot for delicious foods, in Pt Reyes Station. I stood in line outside the ordering window during pandemic times, to eat outside, and have eaten inside more times than I can count. It's a fun place to take visiting friends, especially if they like pizza. Not to diss any other delicious foods on the menu- but the pizza is a benchmark for delicious NorCal crust, fresh local veggies and cheeses, and yum the sauce so tasty I usually order a side of it for dipping. Cheers, and enjoy!
This is my favorite restaurant in my local town.
Their food is so delicious and well made. Growing up and seeing this spot become other people's favorite makes me so happy. The service is very good and always makes me feel like home . They are very friendly and don't forget how organized and clean they are . Also the VIEWS and BEACHS ARE A PLUS . favorite spot
Decent pizza, excellent salad, indoor and outdoor seating
We came in on a warm Saturday afternoon at about 200 pm. We were able to be seated outside right away. Outside seating is on picnic tables under shade umbrellas. We ordered the small organic greens salad, which was perfect for two people. The blue cheese toppings was not overpowering. We also shared a Farallon pizza, which was okay but got soggy quickly. Wines were only $8 per glass. The salad was awesome, the pizza was okay and the wine was pretty good.
Great pizza but -1 star since it's burned black on the bottom 80% of the time
Love their Farallon sp? with Neiman Ranch Pepperoni (nitrite free) and mushroom pizza. We always order their salad as well and the one for 2 is fresh and the blue cheese dressing is outstanding. I believe their greens are organic, not sure about tomatoes. They have about 6 outdoor picnic tables/benches that are great when it's not too cold and windy. Sometimes the umbrellas sail off, so be careful. I just wish they wouldn't burn their pizzas.. if you don't ask for it not burnt, it will be usually badly burnt, like 20% black on the bottom and 50% on all edges. The staff is friendly and efficient and this is my favorite restaurant at Pt Reyes. The new Station House is way over priced for what it serves.
