Captain Jack's - Restaurant des Pirates Coupvray Reviews
Overpriced small portions with slow service
The portion size of two of the dishes we ordered was akin to a kids meal, yet cost €38. A small piece of pork in the middle of the plate with a smear of mashed potato. Definitely not worth the money just for the atmosphere and service was slow.
Service and setting good but let down by poor food
We made a dinner reservation months in advance as part of our Meal Plan but still had to wait 25mins in the waiting area until our table was ready. However our server who was very busy was still attentive to our table and those around and overall se
Lovely experience
Lovely food and very welcoming for a birthday excellent service pick up from our hotel would definitely return 😉 thank you so much
Not great
Staff were ok. Food was not good, and sooo overpriced. Been before a few years ago and enjoyed it. i wont be going back to disney. Ever. Spoilt the trip for me.
Served pork that was raw then told its normal
Family of 4 visited for dinner. Was looking forward to it. Sadly two of us got served pork that was raw. Upon querying this, we were told it’s totally normal in France to eat pork that is raw in the middle and it’s fine. Sadly turned both of our
Awful service, bad food, over priced
A very disappointing experience for the amount of money being charged. We firstly had a 10 minute wait to enter the restaurant before being seated. Disappointingly we were sat at the furthest table away from the Pirates ride, with no viewing availabi
Worst Disney Meal of my life
We were sat for dinner at 16:10, after drinks and appetizers we waited for our main course. At 17:45 we gave up and just asked to leave. This was the most disappointing Disney service I have ever experienced
Excellent with minor flaws
Took my wife for a honeymoon meal; we ordered the treasure menu. Both of us ordered the dolphinfish (Mahi mahi) as the main course. It was delicious but since I don't know how to cook it myself and hadn't tried it before, I might not be the
AVOID!
Really really poor. €55 for a terrible 3 course meal. Cold soup, bland main dishes, inedible freezing cold desserts. Just awful. What’s more - the waiter came and put the bill on the table when we were half way through our desserts!!! Honestly d
Really terrible service and mediocre overpriced food.
Did not tell us about specials. Gave us a menu that was not helpful for figuring out how to avoid an allergy - server had no clue and was unhelpful to the point of just abandoning the attempt to figure it out. Tried to take our plate away while we we
Don’t waste the money for bland food, awful service and zero options for kids
Menu is limited and extremely expensive for what is standard canteen food. Jerk pork was bland and watery and came with crisps, for €36. Shocking Standard bad service from the French, to be expected. Don’t waste the money and definitely don’t
1 hour wait line.
Dark. Dark. Dark. Food is fast food marketed as fine dining. Even at 2 o'clock lunch you'd have to wait in an empty dark lobby devoid of any life but rude staff.
Once sat, we waited 10 minutes to be helped.
She came and asked our drink orders and I said we would also take ceviche (an appetizer). She said ok, and took the menus without asking, so I guess that'll be all, no dinner for us. The water cups were dirty. We had one cocktail each (different

Honestly, given the price and overall food quality, I wouldn't return to Captain Jack's. If you're expecting something like Disneyland California's Blue Bayou, don't get your hopes up. The only real similarity is the view - y
Loved the experience.
It's like blue bayou of California. Every entree offered on the menu sounded good and I hope to try all of them one day.
Not sold on this restaurant.
We ate at 3 Disneyland Paris restaurants during our 2 park hop days and this was my least favorite. The dining area is along the side of Pirates of the Caribbean ride which we thought would be cool, but it dosent make it any more special. You would t
Terrible food and service.
The food somehow had sauce but no flavor and tasted like it was just reheated and served. For how much we're paying and how excited I was for this food I expected it to be good let alone amazing. The waiter took 30 minutes to come and take our o
We honestly had a fantastic dinner here.
Surprising for a theme park restaurant. But everything we ordered was really good. My husband, who is not a Disney adult really loved this (especially after weeks of high end stuffy French and English restaurants) and even said he loved the vibe. I
Bad service, does not serve to allergy customers.
They refused to serve my family because of an allergy. They charged us and the lady who served us was not kind at all. I was excited to eat food here since Disney in the US is good at accommodating allergy.. but Captain Jacks certainly doesn't.
This was my favorite meal at Disneyland Paris! We split 5
This was my favorite meal at Disneyland Paris! We split 5 appetizers and all were delicious. Very creative and unexpected flavors! The sweet potato cake for dessert was a particular favorite. Service was quick and great but not rushed and the ambianc
