Ginochio's Kitchen Bodega Bay Reviews from The Last Year
Best food in Bodega Bay in my opinion.
I always make it a point of stopping by when I'm in the area or passing by.
Yum yum yum.
This breakfast burrito was the size of an infant. The brisket was tender, perfectly smoked and paired well with the scrambled eggs. The lady at the register was extremely sweet! Although we went for breakfast after rain, the patio looks great to sit at on a sunny day for lunch.

Ginochio's kitchen never disappoints! From great customer service to yummy food. I recommend 10/10 and everything on the menu is a must have! Today we had the crab sandwich, nachos with brisket and the piggy sandwich Clean restaurant, very welcoming atmosphere and a great ocean view.

We stopped by here for breakfast while on a weekend away in Bodega Bay. Husband got a brisket breakfast burrito, while I went with bacon burrito- it was delicious, loaded with sour cream and salsa. Prices were a little steep, but overall service was friendly, food delicious, and atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, with views overlooking the harbor and unique "tide pool" epoxy art tables.
Brisket and pulled pork are excellent.
.as are the beans, Cole slaw, breakfast burritos, crab sandwiches in season...outdoor and indoor seating right on the Bay.
What a great new find specially for breakfast.
Amazing start with apple fritters and bacon monkey bread then crab quiche and all the meaty breakfast burritos! Food was fast and delivered with a smile. Can't wait to go back and enjoy the patio. Views are stunning
This place was great.
We found it by accident but what a happy accident. The view is beautiful and the food is delicious. The clam and scallop chowder was so good as were the fish tacos. The staff was awesome and so kind. My only regret is that I didn't try the crab sandwich but now I have a reason to come back soon.
The blandest, most tasteless fish tacos I've ever eaten.
Pleasant bayside location, a bit out of the way and less crowded than the usual suspects. I wouldn't return.
Some friends of ours recommended this place for a brisket
Some friends of ours recommended this place for a brisket breakfast burrito. Having lived in Texas I'm pretty particular about brisket. But I'm going to be honest with you! This was terrific. The burrito was large. Too large for me to eat the whole thing in one sitting. The service was friendly and hometown type of service. Because we got here early and they weren't busy yet, the owner's daughter Alicia at the time to point out some of the special things in the area including a tree across the way with a pair breeding bald eagles. Was kind of like going to someone's house and have breakfast. Will definitely come back here every time we pass through!
bland 18$ pulled pork sandwich.
Lousy service from the owners daughter. Out of most menu items at 2 pm on Saturday.
The tastiest Italian food in the area hands down! Ravioli
The tastiest Italian food in the area hands down! Ravioli is to die for! Chef and staff are great people and always very welcoming.

Yes, I've never worked in the industry! Okay! It tells me you've been stuck (and still are) in your stubborn ways for many years. Your food is suffering because of your "stuck in my ways, and I'll never change attitude." that's why there were no clams in the chowder
We have been meaning to try this place and after going for
We have been meaning to try this place and after going for breakfast this morning - are sad we waited so long. Located in a fairly quiet spot on the water, the view and feel is beautiful. But once you walk in the door, that is where the unbeatable experience starts. We walked in about 9:30 on a Wednesday morning in early November. As we walked up to the front door, we noticed several tables drenched in the sun overlooking the water. A huge plus. When we walked inside, we were very warmly greeted by Alicia ( hope I spelled her name correctly), who is one of the owners. It felt like she genuinely appreciated us being there, and walked us through the simple process, and handed us both menus. I ordered the brisket hash and my wife ordered the "toads in a hole." I have to say, I am fairly picky with hash, and am disappointed frequently, because even though many restaurants say things like "house made," rarely does it taste that way. This one is the exception and absolutely blew me away. The brisket was smoked, very fresh, and in perfect bite sizes - almost like "burnt" ends we all search for at smoke houses. It was outstanding. The potatoes were cut to bite size pieces, and were crispy, yet soft in the center, and almost had a subtle sweetness to them which complimented and contrasted the meat. I ordered eggs over easy on top and to no surprise at this point, were cooked perfectly. My wife loved her meal and I thought the presentation was unique and pretty cool. Although I was overloaded with coffee when I arrived, I ordered a cup, which also comes with free - and I think unlimited re-fills. Again, the little things. So often restaurants serve luke warm coffee of various quality, but this coffee is freshly brewed - very high quality, plenty hot. I loved grabbing a cup for the road on our way out the door. We also ended up with a cup of clam chowder for the road, and after trying theirs, it is nothing like any chowder I've had before. Clams, scallops, maybe a bit of sherry wine - and not loaded with potato's made it simply the best chowder my wife and I have ever had. It is so obviously made from scratch - and scallops are not an inexpensive ingredient. In the days of so many restaurants selling Sysco like pre-made food, this was an authentic exact opposite. Overall, we just loved the place. When you get real homemade food - and brisket for breakfast, with people who treat you like old friends - and a spectacular view, what is better? I admit, I'm actually excited about the next time, and this is my unequivocal, absolute go to place in Bodega Bay, or for that matter, the entire north Bay Area.
So, I just got off the phone with the restaurant to let
So, I just got off the phone with the restaurant to let them know how awful, seriously terrible our meal was. It wasn't because we ordered it to go either. Because the crab sandwich was $24 and we had not eaten here before we decided just to get one and split it. I'm so grateful we did. The crab tasted like it was out of a can, & the toasted white bread didn't do much for me, the havarti cheese wasn't even melted. But the worst part, when I called to tell them that the french fries were inedible.... The management agreed! She said they've been trying to "figure out how to cook them" and they are "oven fries" Wait!!! What? You know the fries taste terrible and you are serving them anyway? I was seriously gobsmacked by her reaction. The restaurant is charging people for fries that they know are not edible. The person on the phone then asked if there was anything that she could do to make it up to me? Well, I'm never coming back, so maybe toss my credit card receipt? The one star is for the location. I'll drive around to spud point next time, and know that I'll get a good meal for sure. In response to owner comment. No, the manager did not say the fries were inedible, she said "I know" when I told her how awful & inedible they were. The kitchen & staff KNEW & still let us order the fries instead of offering chips or just plain 86ing them from the menu!!! You could have offered to remove the charge from our credit card when I called to discuss. I wasn't able to discuss my disappointment at the time of eating them, because we ordered it to go and drove down the road eating on the way home.
