I had been wanting to try Kuya Lord forever! I'd pass by it on the way or coming back from work though and it would always have the 'Closed' sign up. Luckily I discovered they were on Postmates so of course I had to order yesterday. We ordered a tray of lechon and chicken bowl. The Java rice was savory! I grew up eating Chamorro food in San Diego and have always been obsessed with their red rice. This was very reminiscent of that. Their noodles were good too, tasted like a mix between pancit + chow mein. My husband particularly loved the lechon, he said it wasn't crazy crunchy which he liked because lechon in LA typically hurts his teeth. The chicken was tasty too. I was a little nervous because the prices here aren't cheap and I was afraid the portions wouldn't reflect that, but it was a decent size. It was enough for my Lola, husband and myself to chow down--with a little leftover for the next day too. The service through Postmates was great and we had no trouble with delivery. Overall a great experience, thanks Kuya Lord!
