Came around 12:15pm on a Saturday and it was packed! Granted, the space is small, but very bright. You order first and then prayyyyy there's seating available by the time ur food comes. For two hungry ppl, we got the kuya tray for $45, which came with achara, pancit chami, java rice and your choice of meat. We chose lechon kiwali. I believe the sides might rotate? We also ordered a honey calamansi lemonade. It doesn't look like much food, but we were stuffed by the end of it! The lechon was juicy and fall apart tender with a roasted kind of skin. Would recommend getting the lucenachon for the more crunchy variation. The achara was a kind of pickle that was syrupy, tangy, and spiced, which paired perfectly with the fattiness of the pork. Sami had noodles that were on the softer side with a savory, saucy gravy. Washed down with the calamansi lemonade, it was a fantastic meal. For parking, as with Melrose, parking is street only so we ended up parking a few blocks away within the more residential parts as opposed to the main road and walked over. It's certainly not a cheap meal, but definitely one made with a lot of thoughtfulness and care. There were 3 folks running the whole operation so major props!
