Tourists BEWARE!!!!!!
A nice location, clean linen tablecloths, napkins etc. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. We were charged a service charge and a cover charge of €20.00 on top of the food bill. When asked why there were 2 charges a feeble explanation was given. To be charged for a napkin, knife and fork and then €3.00 for a glass of tap water, makes for not such an enjoyable meal. I don’t mind paying good money for great food, but the additional charges are a rip off and restaurants like this seem to target the tourist. I would suspect the locals don’t get ripped off with additional charges the way we did. If these restaurants want the tourist money, they need to smarten up and stop this ripoff. When we travel and find a nice restaurant, we return over and over and spend plenty of money. Won’t be back to this one though. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Good but…
The location is ideal, the clam pasta is very good. On the other hand, the basket placed on the table at the start of the meal with a few pieces of foccacia and a few industrial breadsticks is priced at €15... too bad, we leave with a biased assessment...

I have been frequenting this restaurant with relatives, friends, etc. since it opened in Santa Margherita (but also before in the other location in Rapallo) and I have always appreciated the cuisine, always correct and without surprises, even if without any particular innovations. Over the years it has had growing success, but - as sometimes happens if you are not able to manage it correctly - even the most positive situations deteriorate. In particular, it has become increasingly difficult to have access to it unless you book with days in advance. Once we managed to find a seat, the waits before being served became increasingly longer, as we were also forced to adapt to two or more shifts, which is certainly an inconsistent procedure for a place of these demands and corresponding cost. Speaking of costs, first with the excuse of the forced closure due to the pandemic ("I have to recover the lost proceeds and take the money from those who have it") then without any cause or even attempt at explanation, they have gradually but continuously levitated reaching levels certainly excessive, in relation to the service provided, increasingly hasty and with an absolutely inadequate air of condescension, in general but above all for those who should treat their guests at least decently, all of them and especially those who "bring money" (a very sensitive topic in the site) for years. Without refraining from presenting, after having asked for the payment methods, not only increasingly high bills but also without any detail and calculated, it is not known with what criterion. Also because if one dares to ask for explanations the owner gets nervous, leading to rudely inviting the unfortunate customer simply not to return (after years) if he does not like these treatments. Congratulations, a rare example of marketing and also of lack of respect (at least). However, evidently all that remains is to adapt to the host's invitation. But it's a shame, also because this will continue the colonization of local businesses by famous Milanese restaurateurs, perhaps not cheaper but certainly more welcoming and polite.
An exceptional culinary experience
Beautiful discovery a stone's throw from the sea, in the center of Santa, an excellent starter, a superb first course and an exceptional second course, a top dessert, I highly recommend, rating 10
He didn't convince
With friends we went to this restaurant on the port of Santa Margherita, courteous service, average salted fish, all too normal.
Very good but sky high prices
Beautiful location and perfect service. Delicious lobsters, it's just a shame that the €23 for a bowl of Catalan-style prawns was worth the price, which was certainly not worth the already excessive price. This excess weighs on the evaluation

This was an amazing lunch - fresh fish, salmon tartare and icecream to die for !! What a great day by the sea !! Wonderful !! Thank you !!
Good meal, bad service.
The cover is high and the plates are overpriced regarding to the quantity. On the top of that, the service is slow and on the edge of being rude, but the quality of the dishes is quiet good. The place is elegant with a nice view on the port but the overall is disappointing.
Avoid if you cant stand waiting for 40 minnto ab hour for a table you have booked for
Booked a table for 9 pm was told last table available in first sitting. Turned up at 905 pm , was told table in 10 minutes 30 minutes later table became available and another couple was seated who had just turned up. Was told that they had booked table for 845… not sure what you guys would have done but we cut and ran… shame they have become so greedy, we have eaten there many times before and food is good. We have recommended this restaursnt to all iur friends as well.. hint if you decide to go there turn up for 730. ps passed by another bight and same thing was happening with lots of people waiting for table
Beyond disappointment
My husband booked a table at 7.30pm today 10th August, for a reunion with friends from Australia, Argentina and Italy. He selected this restaurant because of the Michelin note and the location. It took 1 hour and 15 minutes to bring the food we ordered. The interesting aspect is that we were the first people to arrive at the restaurant, we ordered immediately but everybody was receiving their food exempt us. Finally the food arrived. We ordered 1kg fish to share that was transformed in some very small pieces of fish…not close to even 400 grams (not fillets as we were told as per menu) with potato carrot and zucchini. It was tasteless. One of the guests ordered spaghetti with anchovies that were very hard to find. The customer service was very poor. When we asked why the food was taking so long the waiter said “the problem is the kitchen”, and he couldn’t be bother to go and ask what the problem was. We felt really disappointment with the terrible experience we had at this restaurant, specially considering that my husband put so much effort in searching for a good place for this special occasion.

Wonderful! My parents are visiting and we have wanted to go to Nobu Malibu for years. I tried getting a reservation myself but it was next to impossible. So glad I was able to buy a reservation on appointment trader for a decent price!

Fabulous Lunch
I was veeeeeerry skeptical that this would work, particularly at a restaurant as hard to get into as Nobu Malibu, and it was perfect! We had lunch outside on the patio and it was fabulous!

Ok at this point I've attended a reservation purchased on AT by a friend and sold a reservation personally. Both worked pretty smoothly, nothing sketchy about it. A few areas for improvement including a way to more directly communicate between buyers and sellers, but the app always seems to be in development. AT customer support is really(!) responsive and helpful too if you have questions!

It can be under your name or a name you choose! Some reservation offers already include the AppointmentTrader Transfer Service which will transfer the reservation in to your name. If its not included you can add it on after buying the reservation for a small fee. One thing on that though: As many reservations become available at last minute, taking a reservation in someone else name is quick and great for privacy. Most reservations on AT are listed with a virtual phone number, so all you need to do is present the phone number at the hostess stand and you are good to go!

Once the reservation is in your portfolio, you definitely own the timeslot, the review team would not have approved the trade if the reservation wasn't confirmed - so you are going :-) Judging from your post you bid today and are going tomorrow - don't worry as long as you initiated the name transfer, you are good - the transfer service has to work with the opening hours of the reservation team of the respective venue. You will likely see the transfer confirmation a couple hours before your reservation time.
Where do the Reservations on AppointmentTrader come from?
Mostly from people who don't need their reservations or appointments any longer. AT has no relationship with places listed and acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers making sure that listed reservations are real and that privacy is not compromised when transacting.
What happens if my bid expires unanswered?
Hey @FluffyStar64, thanks for the question! When you place your bid the amount gets transferred in a deposit account, the second you either cancel your bid or a few minutes after the bid expires the funds are moved back into your main account from where you can refund it to your payment method or use for other transactions.
