The Butcher's Block Wahroonga Reviews
Very disappointing.
A disappointing experience today. Sat with bright sunshine right in the eyes for the duration as did all the other people facing north in the outdoor under-cover section. (Thought of a blind for patron comfort)? The corn fritters and accompaniments
Could be much better!
Coffee was great. We had the Butcher Block shared breakfast. Unfortunately it wasnβt very tasty! Everything lacked seasoning including the lamb kofta and relish. Bacon was dripping in fat and was cold. Iβm sorry to say as we were looking forward
Slow, expensive
Food is a little overpriced but was more underwhelmed by the service. Was hard to get table water, salt, and the drinks we ordered before the meal. A busy place with some disinterested staff.
Great Spot for a meal on Sydney's North Shore
Flew in from an overseas holiday hanging for an Aussie Breakfast and coffee and wasn't disappointed. The menu had a great range so I had the Bruschetta with Avo smash and it was so good, my partner had scrambled eggs with smashed avo and salmon
A favourite brunch spot
This is my local cafe and I am a semi regular patron - always impressed with the food and the back area is always pumping and fun despite the seasons- lovely spot. Yesterday the staff went above and beyond to accommodate a group of 20 of us who show
Lost in translation
It was the second time Iβve been to this place. You have to wait to be seated and it took several minutes for someone to greet me- and that was only after someone waiting behind me complained. I ordered my food and watched as other parties were sea
Outstanding Food and Service
My wife and I made a booking for my 71st Birthday meal, at lunchtime. The restaurant was pumping and super busy on a sunny, Tuesday. Bookings are essential, if you want to dine in. On arrival, we were shown to the rear of the restaurant to a table in
Excellent, attentive staff and service.
A perfect meal. Versatile dining room with upbeat music.
Inattentive staff

Where is my started?
We were here for dinner New Year's Eve. The waitress read back out our order that included a starter. After a long wait, she admitted she forgot to order our starter. Do we still want it? Yes! A few minutes later they brought our steak main cour

Let's say Peter has a great morning and decides to take his three friends to The Butcher's Block Wahroonga at 6 PM the same day.
He checks the restaurant's website and sees that no reservations are available. He then looks at the The Butcher's Block Wahroonga page on AppointmentTrader, but finds that there are no user postings either.
That's where the community-driven bid process comes in.
Peter can place a bid on AppointmentTrader, which serves as a reward for any community member who chooses to work on securing the reservation. AT then notifies experienced users who may be able to help.
Step-by-Step Process
1.) Setting a Reward (Bid)
* AppointmentTrader uses historical data to recommend a reasonable reward amount for securing a reservation - let's say $100.
* Peter really wants to go, so he increases the bid (or reward) to $200.
* At this stage, the reservation does not exist yet.
2.) A Community User Picks Up the Bid
* FamousStation67, an experienced AT user, has a strong track record of successfully securing reservations and low refund requests, they receive a notification about Peter's $200 bid.
* FamousStation67 picks up the bid, meaning they will now work on securing the reservation.
* Peter can now talk to FamousStation67 for any questions Peter may have as FamousStation67 user fills the bid.
3.) Finding the Reservation
* FamousStation67 now uses their connections at The Butcher's Block Wahroonga to secure the table.
* If they successfully get the 6 PM table for four, Peter receives a confirmation that the reservation has been secured.
* If FamousStation67 fails to secure the reservation, the bid is returned to the pool so another user can try.
4.) Payment & Protection
* Once the reservation is secured, FamousStation67 receives the $200 reward which is credited to FamousStation67's AT balance, where users manage their own funds and can withdraw via available payout options such as bank transfer, PayPal, or Zelle.
* Peter can now enjoy the dinner with his friends at The Butcher's Block Wahroonga!
* As with all transactions on AT, disputes and no-show fees are handled through the platform's community-driven resolution system. Users with a strong track record are incentivized to fulfill bids successfully, and community members can report issues to maintain trust in the marketplace.
