The flavors, the spices, the variety, we had a wonderful meal. We were given a great table in the middle of the outdoor seating with an attentive waiter. I started with a cosmo and it was a good tasting cocktail. Then we decided on six of the shared

Everything Rye Focaccia: it's everything you've dreamed about! Like charred scallion cream cheese and pickle relish.
I really enjoyed the poke, the pate and the string beans.
The poke was refreshing and the pate came with an amazing spread. However I found the pig face super greasy and we did not finish that plate. The service was really good and attentive

Great Food!
My first trip to Chicago. Girl & the Goat was recommended by two people. And I had read about it...so I booked a table way in advance (first recommendation: get a reservation early). The restaurant is in the bustling Fulton Market neighborhood

Girl and the Goat was good, but not amazing in my opinion.
I do unfortunately think this place is somewhat overhyped but the food IS good. The vibe was cute and the waiter was great, but the tables are so jam packed that you feel like you're sitting on someone else's lap. Pita and dips -- pita

High Quality Menu for Sharing
Everything on the menu is sharable. Goat empanadas were delicious. Pork shank is outstanding. Very efficient team of servers. Noisy inside, but they have outdoor tables that were much quieter. Reservations can be hard to get; plan ahead.

We got the lemon bar dessert with strawberry gelato.
Dish was a 10/10. Although what really made our night was our bartender. Probably top 3 most interesting people my husband and I ever met and the best story teller. He really made our night and the whole dining experience fun. If you're the bart
Will definitely be back!
Everything we had was absolutely delicious. We tried a couple of things including the zucchini bread, grilled corn, and the wood fired pork belly, but my absolute favorite was the goat empanadas. Sooo good!! We shared the blueberry polenta cake and
Good vibes only at The Girl & The Goat
Of course I was super excited to snag a resy here and enjoy a Chicago night out with my daughter. However, even giving grace for a busy, hectic night I was only mildly impressed. 1. Service was pretty long. Waiter apologized a few times but even jus

An amazing experience.
Extremely flavorful dishes, friendly staff, beautiful interior. You can't get much better than this.
Came here from out of state and for my bday.

Definitely one of my favorite spots in Chicago.
The restaurant has a dark, moody ambiance and it is decorated beautifully! It is the perfect spot for a date night or a dinner with friends. Reservations can be hard to come by, but it is well worth the effort. We had the chickpea fritters, pork be

Great American taste with a twist
Great option to try something different with a touch of American classic Good ambiance and attention of all the staff. Always attentive. The menu is reduced in options but have very tasty features to try. Like the chicken skewers and the corn. Nice
Noisy but very good food.
Very, very busy place but our seating and service was punctual. A couple of misses prevented a five star rating. Be prepared for a very noisy experience, not completely untenable, but certainly not pleasant. We ordered their Cuisine green beans as a
DELISH!!
Absolutely everything we ate was delicious! We had more than half the menu and my kids gorged themselves on each dish, eating more than their share of the shared plates. It was a little noisy, but you barely notice because the food is so good.
Small Plates of Great Food
Had a great meal and enjoyed our time. The meals all come as small plates, which can add up as you move through a meal, but it was a great place to eat and we are glad we did. We ended up outside on a beautiful night, which is good because we thought
Cool breakfast spot!

Great Dining Experience
I was excited to dine here at this highly rated restaurant and it didnβt let me down. Beautiful space and nice atmosphere. I had the roasted asparagus and soft shell crab which were both delicious.
Amazing food and atmosphere. Bar staff are top notch.
I have eaten in some top class restaurants many of which are Michelin and this is one of the best places Iβve ever eaten at. The food is so tasty, the texture is brilliant. I also have to call out the bar staff they are friendly and knowledgeable,
Spectacular Meal: Perfect from Start to Finish!
This was a perfect meal for the last night of a trip to Chicago! I booked a table to celebrate a family memberβs birthday. They gave us a table that looked directly into the kitchen (kind of like a chefβs table). Chris, our server, was exceptiona
Uniquely amazing food, some of the little things disappointing
Each sharable dish (3) was deliciously amazing. Restaurant was dark, difficult to read menu. Tables very close together. No clean plates for each dish, was disappointing.
Worth the visit!
What an excellent meal. Each dish was by far greater than the sum of its parts! Perhaps it was the low expectations of the descriptions (e.g. olive foccacia with whipped ricotta), but each dish just wowed my palate. Also, the cocktails were top-notch
Just book it.
This was one of the best food experiences ever. Sometimes you just canβt put it in words for someone to understand. Service was great. Food was exceptional. Atmosphere was inviting & fun.
Big Disappointment
Made a reservation with high expectations for a 50th birthday dinner. We had been wanting to try this restaurant for several years and finally had the opportunity to. Long story short, we regret working our weekend around what we thought would be a '
Great expectations - not fulfilled. Disappointing.
We wanted to love this dining experience with our family, but it fell way short of being in any way enjoyable - we were relieved to finish our food so that we could leave. For a restaurant of this caliber, one would expect superb food and a pleasant
Hurry hard to this resto!
OMFG does Girl & the Goat ever live up to the hype! Every single bite was incredible. Vibes were perfect. Staff was incredible. Top 10 restaurant experience for sure. Only wish I had room to try more dishes.

Unique and Amazing Flavors
This place has been on my bucket list forever and it did not disappoint! Iβve been following Stephanieβs career since her season of Top Chef and it was so exciting to finally make it here! The food was incredible- such unique flavors and spices.
Unexceptionalism Personified [Save for the Goat Liver Mousse]
The cuisine was generally speaking mediocre particularly for an establishment of this note, combined with truly lackluster servicing to say the least. In complete fairness and tribute to the chef though, we sampled the "goat liver mousse"
Good Food, but Small Portions!
Anthony Bourdain The Layover Season 2, Chicago featured Girl & The Goat, and it looked freaking delicious! So I had to try it. Even 12 years after airing this episode, this place is still popular and packed on the Friday night we dined here...be
